Everything is brand new!! Discounts on certain weeks are available. Hemingway East and West is a beautiful duplex located on an upscale cul-de-sac street in Walkover Dunes which connects with Dunes of Seagrove on the East and Sugar Dunes on the West. You can rent both sides or only one. Since this is two houses, our calendar does not reflect all the weeks that are booked so give us a call for availability. Each unit sleeps 14 in beds, seats 14 for dining and shares a private pool. The private boardwalk to the beautiful white sandy beach is right at the end of the driveway. The views are phenomenal! Our reservations are Sunday to Sunday during 2009 after May 30 to accommodate the July 4th holiday. Wireless internet and HD TV are included.
If you enter on the ground floor, you'll find a bedroom with queen size bed and sleeper sofa, laundry room, 2 car garage (with extra refrigertor) and the doorway to a beautiful private pool and lush landscaping.
The 2nd floor features a master bedroom with king size bed, sitting area in the bedroom, flat screen TV, balcony with views of the Gulf, large bath with shower and jacuzzi tub as well as a third bedroom with two queen size beds, full bath and a balcony overlooking the pool.
The 3rd floor features a large open entertainment area with fireplace, dining room, balcony with a view of the Gulf, kitchen and a bunk room for the kids with 2 sets of bunk beds and full bath with balcony overlooking the pool area.
The 4th level is known as the Crow's Nest and offers a wet bar (inside) with a balcony and "forever" views of the Gulf.
Don't worry about the steps as we have provided you with an elevator - this is luxury living, after all! A hidden treasure in Seagrove.

Why the Owner Chose Eastern Lake
Once I moved to the South, I always vacationed in Destin and decided one year to try Seagrove and Santa Rosa Beach along 30-A. I never went back to the Destin traffic. Our family loves this area and my son, Billy, was married there in 2004. This is the only place our family goes on vacation. We love it.
The Unique Benefits at this House
This duplex is perfect for family reunions or multi-family get togethers. Everything in this duplex was changed in 2007 so all furniture, bedding, kitchenware - everything is brand new. The private pool is delicious and having an elevator in each side of the duplex is truly luxury. The boardwalk to the beach is at the end of the driveway so no crossing streets - just 50 yards to the sand. Try it out.

Hello. My name is Mems and I appreciate your visiting this site. I don't own this duplex but I manage it for friends of mine. I have three children - Mike, Billy and Teri - all grown and healthy, thank goodness. I am a grandmother of triplets and loving every minute of it. I live in Woodstock, GA but am originally from Philadelphia. I've always loved the beach and "going down to the Jersey shore" as we called it up there. When I discovered the Gulf Coast in the 80s I knew I wanted to spend my vacations in the clear waters of the Emerald Coast and feel the white sugar sand between my toes. I can't say that any other beach I've been to has come close to these beaches.
