The Casa is large, the living room has 2 large sofas and chairs, Beautiful tile with hand loomed rugs, many oil paintings, folk art, plants. The dining area can seat up to 10 people. There is a patio off the kitchen that is perfect for drinks, morning breakfast, you can watch the boats go by and the city lights at night. The bedrooms all have king-size beds large closets, patio, nicely furnished with colonial furniture.
There are 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub, all in beautiful tile floors colorful tile counters. The kitchen has large refrigerator, disposal, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, bar with bar stools, and anything else you might want. The pool has nice outdoor furniture, plenty of lounge chairs, hand painted tiles done by a local artist.
We offer maid service included in the price, professional pool service and gardner, the whole property is surrounded by trees and plants. There is a patio we call the crows nest with table chairs to get a great view of the ocean and the sierra madre mountains. But there is also great ocean views from the casa. We are very fortunate to have "restaurant row" close by where they have about 4 blocks of restaurants, the best in town.

This was my second Trip to This Rental after 6 Long years. It only Gets better ! The Magnificent View from one side of the Bay to the other is unsurpassed. The owners attention to detail show in the wonderful regional Decor and artwork that surround you. My wife and I just wanted to move right in ! Jamie , The property manager, who lives on site was always available to give us directions and provide fresh water. The Cabs come right to the door, very cheap to go into town. Did not even have to rent a car. A nice walk down to the Beach. We took our friends this trip and they were just as impressed with our accommodation. We are Planning our next trip to Casa Tropical. I want to Thank the Owners of this home for sharing this wonderful get-a-way. What a JEWEL
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

The listing photo of the "view" of the ocean were not up to par. The property was moldy smelling, plus wires all over the place. The caretaker was hard to get in touch with when we wanted to move. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. After a long and steep walk to the beach and boardwalk, there were plenty of things to do; restaurants, shops, just long walks on the boardwalk and through town.
