Located on a long stretch of a reef-protected beach, this 7th floor beach front condo has a spectacular ocean view from the private lanai. We stayed in this condo in November 2007 and we were so glad we did! After staying in Waikiki for a month while my husband was working, it was great to get out of the hustle and bustle to enjoy the peacefulness of the North Shore. The condo is right on the beach and is beautifully updated. The kitchen is well stocked, there is a new washer/dryer inside the unit, and a tile bath with hair dryer. There is free wireless internet for those of us who can't live without our e-mail. They even provide beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. The owner (Kathy) and the housekeeper (also Kathy) are both very responsive to your needs, answering your phone calls and/or e-mails very quickly. You are close to the world famous surfing beaches, whether you want to participate or just watch. The scenery in the area is awesome and the people are so laid back and friendly! I would definitely recommend this condo. You won't be disappointed!

Very Nicely appointed for the couples that would like to get away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu/Waikiki this is a great place to relax and enjoy the beach. The unit is for a couple so if you have children you would want a bigger unit.

We had a wonderful time staying in this condo. We stayed the first week of September and at most there were 10 people on the beach at one time (except Labor Day there was about 20). The condo was nice and the view was excellent. At night we would go to the jacuzzi and rarely was there any else there. We went to Waikiki to see what we missed by not staying there. What we missed was being around a lot of tourist and the hustle and bustle of a mid-size town. The only drawback is the drive to get to Walmart or Safeway, but this was just a small price to pay. We had a wonderful time grilling out and taking the food back to eat on the lanai and watch the sunset. I do not think we could have found a better place to stay!!!!!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Kathy, I think I’ve died and gone to heaven without knowing it. =) Thank you so much for making it possible for me to afford this perfect place with everything I could possibly need. I’ve god my ipod in the dock with soothing music, a cup of warm sleepy tea, the slider open, listening to the waves, the fridge stocked with healthy food, and am sitting here journaling my adventures and thoughts over the last 24 hours. I can even wash all my clothes before I leave so I can just return to life as easily as possible on Wednesday. You have done such an incredible, truly island style of decorating. I can’t thank you enough for my perfect get away! I am DEFINITELY coming back and will be telling all my girlfriends about this place. The ad does not even remotely convey the feel of this spot! You have to be in it to believe it! Now that it's daylight, I have gone to the beach and... WOW... If you want peace, quiet and unsurpassed beauty, this is the place!

this was a fantastic vacation choice for my husband, baby and me. the view was great, unit was clean and attractive, complex secure, and swimming was great in the ocean and the pristine complex pool. i was worried it would be very far away from everything, but it was just a short drive to the north shore beaches and shopping, polynesian cultural center, and windward beaches. the unit is small, but that wasn't an issue for us. bedroom had a lot of traffic noise from the road outside, but that didn't bother us too much, either. the owner provided us with a port-a-crib and there was a high chair available, too. there were also water toys and snorkeling and beach gear to use. the beach outside was beautiful and quiet. we had it to ourselves much of the time. loved ola restaurant at turtle bay and the ahi sandwich at shark's cove grill. skip romy's shrimp truck... our prawns were tastless and of questionable freshness.

I stayed here in Aug., 2007. My family had stayed at the condo for 10 days. We had stayed in L.A. for my sabbatical year. On the way back to Korea, we wanted to have a vacation in Oahu. Since this would be our second vacation in Hawaii, we wanted to stay in a beach rental for the whole vacation. Yes, we wanted a quiet and relaxing vacation and it turned out to be the vacation we wanted. The room was very nice and clean. Since it is right next to the perfect beach, the floor can be sandy even though you took a shower on the way to the condo. It was very easy to clean the room, since it was tiled. Imagine a carpeted floor. It is difficult to clean the sand and you would feel uncomfortable to lie or step on the carpet. There were all the amenities that you need. You could find beach chairs, beach mat, and snorkeling gears, too. During our stay, the shower drain was clogged with sand. However, it was fixed very quickly after just one call. They were very nice. My son always tells me about the good memories at the Pat's Punaluu. Seongje Ahn

Beautiful quiet beach away from the crowds. Condo was clean, comfortable a real nice place to put your feet up and relax. Short driving distance to shopping and easy access to an over abundance of other beaches on the windward and north shores of oahu.

This is a beautiful condo located on a quiet stretch of beach with lots of nice little extras. We visited in July and appreciated the location as we enjoyed visiting hubub of Waikiki, yet welcomed the opportunity to retreat to the quieter charm of the North Shore...things may be different in the winter months...of this I am unsure. The unit is small (there were three of us), but it's amenities are truly top-of-the-line and all of the staff and fellow residents we met were very pleasant and friendly. Much needed rennovations are currently being done to the outside of the building. Improvements to the area immediatly surrounding the unit are completed and the rennovation project was not bothersome to us in the least. Once this project is completed, this place will definately be FIRST CLASS.
