This cottage is nestled in the aspens and pines of Rainbow Valley - A Great location for those wanting to explore the outdoors, yet close to city attractions. Only 8 miles to historic Cripple Creek. Two miles to Mueller State Park entrance and the Famous Pike National Forest Crags for great hiking trails. Thirty minutes west of Colorado Springs
ABOUT THE CABIN:
Evergreen has mountain style décor with warm colors, pine trim and natural accents. With it's open living/dining/kitchen area, you can enjoy the warmth from the rock surrounded wood stove from all four rooms.
Enjoy all the comforts of this secluded cozy cabin surrounded by pine and aspen trees with great views of the mountain region. The kitchen, living room and dining room are all open and airy. Master bedroom features a queen bed made from Smooth Aspe Logs. There are two matching twin beds in the second bedroom. The cabin is decorated with a fresh Evergreen Mountain Pine décor and accents. We have a TV / VCR & Stereo with many Videos & Games to enjoy around the roaring fire in our Large Wood Stove with Rock Fireplace backing. Supplemental heat is provided by electric baseboards and portable heaters. Fans help move the air around.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances: Microwave, Toaster, Coffemaker, etc, utensils, pans, dishes, and a ~BBQ~ for outdoor grilling. A Four person Hot Tub for your relaxing evenings is situated on the front deck. With views of Sentinel Peak and the backside of Pikes Peak from the windows and the deck, you are sure to enjoy your stay at Evergreen Cottage. After a day of site seeing or hiking, relax and stargaze from the Hot Tub. Evergreen is quiet and private, but only a short distance to Colorado Springs and Cripple Creek.
This cottage is the perfect get-a-way for a couple or a small family. Many people have signed our guest book as honeymooners or folks back for a romantic anniversary or birthday escape. This area gives you the true feeling of the Colorado Rocky Mountains in an authentic mountain cabin atmosphere.
For couples traveling together and looking for lodging close to each other, we work with two other cabins that are close by - walking distance - but not visible. Please check with us if you need more room as we have teamed up to serve family reunions etc. It's a great way to expand your living space.

Enjoy wildlife viewing of deer, elk, mountain goats, eagles, squirrels, etc. Venture on some of the great hiking trails or fish in some of the best rivers in Colorado. In the fall season, view the aspens as they change colors with breath taking beauty.
We encourage our guests to get out and explore the area. With so many things to do and places to see in the Pikes Peak Region, you'll want to come back to visit time and time again.
