Enjoy your Cape Cod Vacation in this quiet seaside neighborhood. The cottage is located on an ocean bay, only steps back from the saltwater beach, with gorgeous waterviews from the sun porch.
It is a perfect location for families, time away with friends, or for couples looking for a place to "get away from it all". Choose the many activities nearby, then enjoy this peaceful retreat when your day is done. After a busy day, walk to the beach for a swim.
Several families for family reunions can consider renting our two side by side cottages. See our other VRBO listing's website below.
For a full day at the beach, South Cape Beach State Park is a short drive away. Since we are on the some of the most southernmost points of Cape Cod, the water is exceptionally warm, yet still refreshing. After a day of sightseeing, enjoy the sea breeze on our cheery sun porch. Take beautiful sunset photos right at our beach.
Nantucket and Vineyard Ferry services are just a short ride away and Mashpee Commons is 5 minutes away - a favorite destination for shoppers who enjoy the open air experience for shopping, dining and people watching.

Peaceful Family Friendly Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Seabreeze Cottage and found it the perfect getaway spot for our family vacation. We had a very difficult time finding a rental home that would accomodate our whole family (since we were traveling with my in-laws and have five children ranging from ages 11 months to 15 years old), and were told by several landlords that we exceeded the maximum number of occupants. It was such a relief that Janet so warmly welcomed our family and even provided a high-chair and porta crib for our baby. Though the cottage was small, between the two double beds, bunk beds, and futon there was plenty of sleeping space for our entire party. The kitchen was well-supplied and the home was furnished with everything we needed for the week. We loved the whimsical Cape decorations and shady lawn for eating outdoors. We were there during a heat wave, and gladly paid the small fee for air-conditioning (which worked much better than the air-conditioning at houses that other family members rented for twice the price). We also really enjoyed the location on Seconsett Island and liked being so close to the bay and the boatyard-- talk about a boater's paradise. We had a wonderful time and would love to return.

What a wonderful, relaxing mini vacation! We stayed at Port Cottage for 3 nights in mid-August, and couldn't have been happier with our VERY last-minute reservation! The cottage is adorable, roomy, and very thoughtfully stocked with just about everything you can think of needing. The owner was so lovely and welcoming! We enjoyed roaming around the small private beach just steps away, and the location was nicely off the beaten path, but still very accessible to all the Cape has to offer. There were plenty of suggestions for things to do, and our party enjoyed nearby Mashpee Commons (the cupcake bakery, Cupcake Charlie's, offers $1.50 "frosting shots" -- fun!), whale watching in Hyannis, a day trip to Martha's Vineyard, delicious breakfast at Persey's, an afternoon at South Cape Beach, lazy evenings with the DVD player, and so much more. The cottage and location were even better than described, and I would recommend this property VERY highly! The wifi connection was a lifesaver when a work emergency came up, and while the August weather was predictably warm and humid, the open windows and many thoughtfully-placed fans kept us quite comfortable. I think our only regret was not taking advantage of the outdoor shower while we were there! All in all, this was a delightful getaway, and I can't say enough good things about the owner, who was just a dream. I hope to visit again soon!

There is a liitle piece of heaven on Seconsett Island . The cottage is spotless and has everything you could possibly need for a vacation. The location of the cottage provides a peaceful retreat but is close enough to all Cape Cod activities. The bay was perfect for kayaking and the teen-agers spent countless hours paddling and exploring the island. There were eight of us and plenty of room for all The owner of the cottage,Janet, was delightful to deal with. Her personal touches in the cottage made the place comfy and cozy. Everything you need, including beach towels and lounge chairs are there. All you need to remember is your clothes! The location is close to many food stores and restaurants and will suit your fancy no matter what you have in mind. Not only was Janet friendly, but the neighbors in the surrounding homes of the cottage were more than willing to welcome us to their sanctuary. This cottage is the ideal place to stay to get away from it all and relax, yet there is still endless amounts of available activities. Old Silver Beach, (a little pricey at $20.00 for parking) is gorgeous. We wouldn't have changed a thing and will certainly return in a heartbeat. As the song says, "You're sure to fall in love with old Cape Cod."

My husband and I were blessed with awesome weather and one of the cutest cottages we have ever rented. The beach is right there to enjoy and because we are big kayakers, we were able to enjoy some nice calm waters for hours of exploration. the cottage was perfect for the two and when the grand children came for a visit, there was plenty of room for them, too. the space was clean and well-maintained and Janet was a big help with tourist questions. yes, we would recommend this property very highly. Soprano's restaurent is a must located at Deer Crossing. cottage was a wonderful place to relax!

Enjoyed our stay very much, we were looking for a relaxing and quiet location. It was clean, comfortable and the owner made sure that our stay would be memorable, they offered a good and well informed service. The description was accurate compare to some other houses/properties we inquired about (some should really review their sites). We recommend this property anytime.
