ABOUT THE AREA
Walking distance to the healing warmth of the Natural Volcanic Steam Vents. We are located 30 minutes south of Hilo. Our very charming vacation rental is only 10 minutes outside of the historic town of Pahoa and is also very close many other of East Hawaii's natural attractions.
Cycle on gentle rolling paved and backroads through the jungle where you can listen to the birds singing and enjoy the beauty of the wild orchids. Soak or swim in the calm ocean waters of the natural hot ponds, surf at Pohoiki, bask in the sun at the gorgeous black sand beach, enjoy hiking trails, natural volcanic steam vents, an active volcano at Kilauea Volcano National Park, botanical gardens, farmers, and artesian markets and breathtaking waterfalls. All within five minutes to 45 minutes away from our vacation rental. We are also a beautiful two hour drive from the white sand beaches of Kona.
The Big Island of Hawaii is home to a multitude of climate zones and Eco- systems. This variation is what creates the beauty of the lush tropical forest. In addition to the forest, the fields of cooled lava flow distinguishes Puna. This is where the abundant flora begins new life.
Our vacation rental is located amidst the spiritual Mecca of the Big Island. Here, abundance of beauty, serenity, and spiritual growth is the way of life. There are plenty of magical places to enjoy on this side of The Big Island, where the essence is truly unique.
