This fabulous country retreat has been embraced with an amazing array of recycled materials. The owner is the proprietor of Heritage Salvage and has remodeled this home with a sense of warmth and style sure to please you!

This 2200 square foot multi-level home features huge master with fireplace, picture window and private deck. A floor to ceiling library leads to a cantilevered mezzanine over a cathedral ceiling great room. the hot tub/spa/outdoor cold shower and curving back decks lead to trails around the property and a satellite dish Gazebo. The quiet room with queen bed is next to the office with the second bathroom. The warm pine floor of the great room segues to the recycled fir floors of the complete country kitchen, which flows to the dining room/bar and pantry. The private, ivy covered guest cabin has queen bed with warm redwood panelling and a unique peacefulness . . . beyond the cabin are the fire circle and golf practice net.

There is an organic garden planted and guests are welcome to share in the fresh produce. The golf green level has equipment for badminton court and country bocce ball. The tee box presents a challenging 65-yard lob wedge through two towering redwoods. The entire 3 acres is landscaped a la "bugs national park." This is THE perfect spot to relax and entertain!

Sit in the hot tub and watch the hawks and buzzards soar, mourning doves and pileated woodpeckers fly by while the brazen local deer and wild turkeys saunter through the yard.

Just 5 minutes from the historic village of Occidental, famous for its Italian restaurants and award-winning bakery.

Nearby Freestone is home to the fabulous Wild Flour Brick Oven Bread Bakery and Osmosis day spa famous for the Japanese Cedar Enzyme Bath, just minutes away.

Drive Coleman Valley Rd. to Bodega Bay, voted the most scenic road in Sonoma County more than once! Bodega Bay hosts several fine bayside dining experiences, as well as lovely beaches to fly kites, watch seals, whales, sea birds, and surfers!

Point Reyes National Seashore is within an hour's drive south on Hwy. 1.

Occidental Farmers Market is every Friday from 4 p.m. to dusk from approx June through October.

The Russian River is just 20 minutes away in Monte Rio, then a few more miles to Guerneville, home to the Russian River Jazz Festival and Russian River Blues Festival, as well as the famous Korbel Winery. Many more Russian river Valley wineries are located in the area, with Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley, Sonoma Valley and Napa Valley approx 40-60 minutes away.
