We had a great time at Lagoma Lodge. Loved the sweeping lawn down to the bulkhead and beach. Had wonderful evenings sitting at the firepit with the moon shining over the water and lights across to the mainland. A suggestion would be to note that the full size bed and twin beds are not in separate bedrooms with doors. We just assumed we would be able to close those areas for the children and that was not the case. However, we worked around it and didn't let that interfer with our wonderful stay. Thanks

Lagome Lodge represents the quintessential northwest vacation home. Situated on the water at Possession Point with views of the ever changing passage from Everett, WA to Seattle,WA, the scenery is spectacular EVERY DAY! The history of this quaint, well maintained home is felt as you step onto the porch and turn back the clock. We enjoyed the beautifully appointed kitchen and made dinner most every night during our stay. There is are many amenities for families right on the property like shuffle board, bocce ball , crabbing, or reading a good book! Clinton is a short drive up the road with wonderful shops, coffee and restaurants. Star Market is one of our favorite places to shop. We loved Lagome Lodge and would recommend you stay there without hesitation.

Sorry for delay in posting: Wonderful place for family reunion & last minute Wedding rehearsal bbq for eldest daughter & her groom. Family came in from Hawaii & California to attend daughter's wedding in nearby Langley. Terry was wonderful in helping us with maps & coordinating our stay! We ended up hosting a last minute wedding rehearsal bbq the day before the wedding. Thank goodness for Lagoma Lodge's outdoor grill! The nephews loved the resident bald eagle & shuffle board! Youngest daughter was able to bake/create a simple fondant cake for the wedding's ceremonial cake-cutting in the well appointed kitchen; she loved the kitchenaid mixer! The Bunkhouse helped to handle the 'Weekenders Only' group who came in just for the wedding. Lagoma Lodge truly is a home away from home and was perfect for our family reunion & gathering before & after daughter's wedding. We hope to return to Lagoma again! Awesome stay @ Lagoma Lodge on Whidbey Island and we loved being together and having it as a "homebase" during our entire Whidbey Island stay! Can't say enough about this wonderful find! This is our 1st VRBO experience, won't be our last. ; )

We had a retreat for 6 women and the environment was just what we needed. We enjoyed the large kitchen and had everything we needed for our meal preparation. I would love to come back with my family. Having the master downstairs is a real bonus with a lively family. I would return again.

We had a strategy meeting with 5 women and it was perfect. The ambiance and envronment made the meeting more productive since it actually allowed us to create quick bonds cooking together in the well stocked kitchen. I would definitely stay there again and hope to bring my family the next time. Highly recommended. Laura was available if we needed anything (which we didn't) - T

We had four generations of my family at Lagoma House for an amazing Easter Weekend, including my 3 week old grandson and the great grandparents. The main house and guest house absorb people comfortably. All can be well fed and entertained on site, or away at the island's many wonders. The kitchen is practical and looks out at an amazing, huge lawn and sound view. The living room is cozy. All rooms are clean and well fitted. This is a dead end corner of the island that gets zero thru traffic distraction, but there are great beach walks and close driving destinations. Good groceries minutes away. Can't wait to go back.

Lagoma Lodge met all of our expectations and more! What a fabulous week we spent there with our family and the rainy (and snowy) weather made this home seem even cozier! We especially liked the spacious, well-stocked kitchen, the huge dining table (we had a jigsaw puzzle going on one end and still had room for meals), the inviting yard for the Labradors, the shuffleboard court, the three resident bald eagles, and low tide walks on the beach! This was our first time to Whidbey Island, but we'll be back and Lagoma Lodge is the place to stay!
Owner response:Jeff and Tammy we are so glad your family had a great time at Lagoma Lodge. Knowing you have vacation rentals yourselves makes your endorsement that much more meaningful. Thank you for staying with us and please come again, you must see the place in the summer.

What a beautiful location you have. Even though the weather wasn't that great we could not have wished for a nicer place to spend our long weekend on Whidbey Island. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

We had never been to this area before. It is very different from central Oklahoma. The temp here yesterday was in the high 70's, back home it was 103 degrees. We have had a wonderful time. Thanks!!!

We came here to celebrate George and RuthAnn 50th wedding anniversary and to gather their 3 boys and their families together for the first time in 7 years. We crabbed, played shuffleboard, ate good food, geocached, played frisbee and board games, and reconnected surrounded by the beautiful scenery ( and weather) of Whidbey Island. It was the perfect backdrop for our little family reunion. Thank you so much!

We enjoyed our time here! The bald eagle spent several hours hang one day. It's not too often we stare at a Bald Eagle while we eat dinner. We read a lot. We walked a lot - and together the whole time! It was good for us to get away- together. Thanks!
