The property was amazing! Even better than described on the website. We had our 3 children with us and it worked out perfect. The sunrise at this property is amazing. Will definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Families with young children.

We stayed 16 days here, with our 2 small children. The condo is very well maintained, clean and kitchen is well equipped. The beach toys, etc were also really awesome to have available for use. The lazy river, sandy area and the 1 (of 3) hot tub that kids could use were a big hit... There were a couple unpleasant comments made about little kids, I would suggest that if you really dislike children this might not be the resort for you. Kauai is a gorgeous island and this location was great for heading either north or south, we visited lots of beaches and lighthouse, Waimea Canyon and attended a luau - Smith family - the kids loved it. The best whale watching we found was right from our lanai!! Lynn was very helpful and responsive. Had really terrible service at the restaurant, it's a bit of an odd set up where the kitchen is not located in the restaurant... Other than that this place was all good! Will be back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This was our 8th time visiting Kauaii and our 3rd time staying at the Waipouli Resort. We have stayed in condos in Princeville, Poipu and Kapaa, but find it is hard to beat the value of this condominium. Everything is exquisitely maintained. The location couldn't be better for sight-seeing on the north shore or the east shore. We have our favourite spots, but staying at the resort offers much free time to relax. Safeway and Longs Drugs are right across the street for easy shopping. Because this condo is on the inside facing the pool, you don't get the traffic noise from the highway. We highly recommend this condo.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in this unit during July and we were quite pleased with our stay. The condo is clean, spacious, boasted a great view of the pool and beaches. The large kitchen, washer and dryer, and A/C made our stay even more pleasant. We also enjoyed the pool with water slide, on-site eating, and the beautiful beach. Lynn was very helpful with booking and answering questions during our stay promptly. If you want a great place to stay on Kauai that is either a quick drive to either end of the island yet close to ammentities (i.e. Safeway, Starbucks, and local eateries) we highly recommend this gem! We'll be back for certain.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We just got back from the Waipouli Resort from a week of vacation for my wife and I and our two daughters. We had an awesome time and the condo couldn't have been any nicer. It's better than the pics show and had everything you need plus extras like boogie boards, beach chairs and floats, etc. The location on the island is perfect as the primary things most people will want to do on the island are located between Hanalei and Po'ipu, so Kapaa is midway between those areas. Lots of great restaurants close by, Hukilau Lanai for dinner and Kountry Kitchen for breakfast were our favorites, both within about a mile north or south of the condos. The owner was very good to work with and quick to help with any questions we had. Thanks for sharing your great home with us and we hope to be back again someday soon!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My family of 5 stayed for a week in July-- condo is really comfortable-- especially liked the ability to have breakfast inside or out on the balcony while overlooking the pool and ocean. The location was at the center of it all -- only about 15 minutes from the Lihue airport (very convenient when we landed at 8:30 at night and when we wanted to take a helicopter tour), about an hour from Waimea Canyon (Grand Canyon of Hawaii) and an hour from the far reaches of the north shore beaches -- also close access to numerous restaurants and across the street from a plaza with Safeway, Long's Drugs, Starbucks and the ubiquitous and handy Hawaii ABC store... Kitchen was really well equipped and the convenience of the washer/dryer was great as we went thru a lot of bathing suits and shorts each day. The grounds were meticulously maintained -- people always picking up trash and cleaning... the ability to get 6 fresh pool towels daily was great. Loved the 3 hot tubs with loose pea gravel "flooring". Even though it was July, the pool never got very crowded-- always a umbrella'd picnic table and chaises available and room in the pool and hot tubs. Lynn and Scott made sure everything was taken care of ahead of time (parking passes, door codes, etc) so it was a wonderful stay! Highly recommend. Also highly recommend Wailua Kayaking (about 10 minutes away) for kayaking + hiking adventure -- so reasonably priced and so much fun -- does not require a lot of physical endurance...Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

A large condo with great views. They had more amenities than listed on vrbo- incl beach chairs and boogie boards. Wish I'd known so I didn't rent them. Very clean with nice beds, sheets and a fully stocked kitchen. This is one of the best properties in all of Kuau'i! This top unit has great views day or night. I really enjoyed taking my morning coffee on the beach at sunrise. I would then wake the kids for breakfast on the lanai. I cannot say enough about the amenities! the kids FAVORITE part of vacation was 'our' condo- the pools, the koi feeding and being together at the resort. In fact, this resort is so fantastic, our friends who were getting married on the beach at the Oasis decided to leave the house they were in and rented another condo at the resort! I hope to make it back to Kuau'i- our favorite of all the islands- and there is no question we will rent from Lynn again. She was a joy and delight to work with and offered great information= plus there were beach chairs and equipment- so we saved on having to rent that and the top of the line kitchen was fun to cook in- with Longs Drugs and Safeway across the street, we actually only ate out a few times, another great savings for us. I found the Oasis hamburger to be one of the best I have had in my life and that is not an exaggeration.... Many people raved about Bubba;s Burgers- which are good, but the Oasis had em beat by a mile. We did make it out to breakfast from several locals suggestions- to Ono Family restaurant. Loved it and very reasonable ($40 for me, husband and 2 very hungry boys- included tip and large jar of papaya jam- unbelievably yummy)! we had budgeted more for food but were able to spend more on activities and souvenirs because our condo was so superbly equipped we actually saved money! Must do activities- see NaPali coast, tour Kuaui Coffee (free tour with samples and BEST coffee deals in country for the best coffee in the world!) snorkel/swim Poipu- look for monk seals, hanalei bay in summer is best for small children and in top 10 beaches in world, Kiluea lighthouse, free hula dance at coconut marketplace (bring donation money for the school- these are precious native girls learning the hula but i found them excellent dancers and my boys fell in love!) I could go on and on about Kuau'i. Truly paradise with the Aloha spirit and this condo was the foundation for our happiest of memories. Mahalo for sharing your place with us Lynn!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We spent plenty of time in the condo since we stayed during the record high rains they had in March! We were so happy we chose this condo! It's even more beautiful in person! Best place we have ever rented and our 4 year old keeps asking to go back so we can swim in the pool! Lots to do around the area! The supermaket across the street was a life saver! We didn't care for the resturant on site but loved the Bull Shed next door and the Brick oven pizza not to far down the road! Not much of a beach but the pool far made up for anything the beach was lacking! it was a great location between Poipu and Princeville! Captain Andy's is a must for a curise to the Napali coast! All in all wonderful vacation despite the rain! Thanks Lynn, it was great working with you!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
