The property and condo were amazing. and Plenty of amenities on the property to make our honeymoon relaxing and fun. The bar/restaurant had fresh cocktails and a 5 star menu. The view of the ocean at sunrise was second to none.

We spent plenty of time in the condo since we stayed during the record high rains they had in March! We were so happy we chose this condo! It's even more beautiful in person! Best place we have ever rented and our 4 year old keeps asking to go back so we can swim in the pool! Lots to do around the area! The supermaket across the street was a life saver! We didn't care for the resturant on site but loved the Bull Shed next door and the Brick oven pizza not to far down the road! Not much of a beach but the pool far made up for anything the beach was lacking! it was a great location between Poipu and Princeville! Captain Andy's is a must for a curise to the Napali coast! All in all wonderful vacation despite the rain! Thanks Lynn, it was great working with you!

This top floor unit is top shelf. It's always a pleasant surprise to have accomodations exceed your expectations. The four of us who shared our stay here for a week couldn't have been happier. We will definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives looking for luxury, comfort, and convenience on Kauai. Lynn, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. Looking forward to a return visit.

This unit was very nice. It has everything you can possibly think of and if its not there it is within reach with grocery stores and shops right across the street. Much nicer then we expected, very upscale. The location in central Kauai was perfect for traveling to any of the other coasts in Kauai. The only small complaint we had was how hard the beds were. We were in Kauai and it really seemed minimal compared to everything else we enjoyed. Thank you Lynn for the opportunity to stay at your place:)

This property is just beautiful and the location is so convenient. The condo itself is super nice and the view is great! We had a wonderful visit to this condo. It is extremely well maintained and in a great location at the Waipouli Beach Resort, with an excellent view of both the pool area and the ocean. The unit is well equipped with kitchen items, plenty of towels, everything you need. There is a shopping center just across the street, so you have quick (walking distance) access to a grocery store, drug store, coffee shop, etc. The owners are very responsive, and communication was clear and prompt. Our party included two young children, who also loved the place. The Waipouli itself is one of the nicest properties on Kauai with an amazing salt water pool that has two slides, waterfalls and a sand pool area for the keikis. Feeding the koi every morning is a hit with the kids as well. Beach access is very close. For swimming and fun for the kids, Lydgate State Park is just a mile to the North, where there is beach with a breakwater and also a nice playground. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely visit again.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. The condo is in excellent condition, just as described and in pictures. We had an amazing ocean view. Easy access to grocery stores and a few eateries. Can't wait to stay here again!!

We could not believe it when we walked in... it was even nicer than we had been expecting from the pictures!! Much bigger than it looks in the photos, and the kitchen was fantastic. This condo was extremely clean and well maintained, and the owners have fully stocked it. From full utensils, lots of dishes/serving dishes and even a salad spinner! We have never rented a place as well stocked as this one. The location of this unit with in the complex was perfect, we have a 3 year old and a 13 month old. While the baby was sleeping, I could sit out on the Lanai and watch my hubby and 3 year old in the pool while still having an ocean view! PERFECT place for kids, water slides were a lot of fun, baby pool was amazing and they let the children feed the koi fish every morning in the big pond. The beach access was perfect. The master ensuit was big enough to put a full size crib in, so baby had her own closed off "room", we all slept comfortably. This unit was also really quiet, being on the top floor we never heard our neighbours or anyone below. There was a wide age range at the resort, not just young families with kids. Lynn was really helpful with all of my questions, she responded very quickly and she is super friendly. When we arrived we got our parking pass very quickly and easily and walked right in. There was absolutely no hassle getting in. We are recommending Lynn and Scott and their beautiful condo to everyone who will listen. Hoping to make this an annual trip!

Much of what we can say is redundant, as the overwhelming positive reviews are spot on. Perfect location, with easy access to North & South. We had a late night arrival, and the keypad on the door, and working with the owners couldn't be easier. Likewise, with an early morning flight, putting the dirty sheets & towels in the washing machine and heading out to the airport was a breeze. The resort is fantastic, with excellent facilities. The on-site restaurant is very good. It's tapas style, with small portions, but very good quality with mostly local, organic ingredients. The kitchen is very easy to cook in, with ample space for 2 people to both work on cooking at the same time. It's well stocked, as is the the entire condo, with extra towels, linens, blankets, pillows, guide books, a cooler, beach mats, and on and on. We look forward to staying again - no question it is the best place we've stayed in 12 trips to Hawaii.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property - the condo is beautiful and has everything our family needed to make it a perfect vacation. Lynn made the arrangements easy to make and was very helpful with any questions. This was our second stay at Waipouli and we again found it to be a wonderful location to start and end our daily Kauai adventures. The resort and this condo really makes traveling with our children (5 & 8) easy and relaxing - we would not hesitate to recommend this resort and this condo to anyone who wants to explore Kauai.

My husband and I absolutely loved the Waipouli Resort. This even # unit in Building B is a good location-great view of the pool and ocean! Very upscale and it's a top unit which has vaulted ceilings. Nice to have a full size fridge and kitchen with cooking amenities. Very spacious. Lynn was most helpful in answering questions and getting everything arranged timely. She is easily accessible and a great owner to work with. Thanks Lynn!

A Wonderful Stay in Waipouli Beach B402

The units are upscale and excellently maintained. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was perfectly equipped for our use. The instructions for usage of the condo were very easy to follow. Lynn was extremely prompt, helpful and patient with all questions during the initial decision process as well as during our stay (I think this may be due to the fact she is a workaholic and chained to her PC!). Pool is very nice. Only slightly negative comment is the restaurant hours and their pool service is not quite where you would like it but certainly nothing you can't deal with. It's location is very good if you like to golf in Princeville and dine in Poipu. We really enjoyed sitting on the lanai early every morning. The condo has one of the best views of the pool and beach in the complex. Thanks Lynn!

First off, dealing with Lynn was fantastic. No surprises, just a fair/honest arrangement. As for the condo - what can I say - it was gorgeous. It's central location on the east shore was perfect for our family's needs and easily facilitated trips to both the North and South shores when needed. The resort is absolutely fantastic for younger kids. We spend hours.. no, days... bouncing between spas, rivers, waterfalls, and water slides ending our days with any of a number of conveniently located restaurants and even a few nights grilling up steaks or Ahi on the BBQs available for use. The kitchen was also fantastic and made for easy cooking when we weren't interested in going out. Again, Lynn was a pleasure to deal with as was staying in her and Scott's beautifully furnished/equipped condo and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastically relaxing stay on Kauai.

Great family vacation

This was our second visit to this unit and we loved it even more this time, probably because of the anticipation of knowing what a great place we were going to visit. It is beautifully furnished, elegant, and very clean. The grounds are well cared for and the pool is a masterpiece, really the crown jewel of the whole complex. Our family of 4, kids 4 and 7, spent a lot of time at the pool which is extremely kid friendly. The wading beach is surfaced in crushed shell rather than sand so it feels great on your feet and doesn't stick to your skin. There are 2 water slides, a secret cave/swim-through waterfall, and two other waterfalls you find as you float and wander down the meandering, serpentine path of the pool. The winding nature of the pool also gives you many quiet places to sunbathe on isolated islands of grass. Also in the pool area are three hot tubs including two for adults only, one of which is heated really warm with extra strong jets. There are grills in several locations in the pool area for do it yourself cooking. The on-site restaurant, Oasis, has recently opened and was just beginning lunch service. Food quality was good to very good. A bit pricey but convenient. The location in Kapaa is convenient to 2 grocery stores and other shops just across the street and the cooking/dining facilities in the unit are excellent. We had breakfast out 2 times and really enjoyed the Ono restaurant in downtown Old Kaapa town. Being located in Kapaa is also close to the North Shore beaches which are incredibly beautiful. If you want luxuriant foliage and breathtaking scenery the beaches North of Kapaa can't be missed. Check the surf report and pay attention to the water before you go in, esp. if you aren't a strong swimmer. We took surfing lessons from Nefi at Learn to Surf and he had all of us standing up! Great company and they take you where the conditions are good for your ability. Our favorite beach was Kalihiwai, just before Princeville, where a freshwater stream runs into the ocean and provided safe calm water for the 4 y.o. while the 7 y.o. played in the waves. Other highlights on this trip were Limahuli Gardens near Bali Hai and the Kuilau Trail, inland from Kapaa. For exploring this beautiful island we love the location of this condo. After a day of exploring beautiful beaches and jungle waterfalls it's nice to come back to an equally beautiful place to stay and that's exactly what this place provides. Highly recommended!!

The resort is well located for side trips on the island, and the pool and gardens are very well maintained and cleaned. Mahalo Lynn for the opportunity to spend our Kauai vacation in your lovely condo! It is spacious and nicely decorated. The beds are very comfortable, so we slept well after our fun days out in the sun and the sand! Your kitchen had all the essentials that we needed to prepare and cook the many meals that we chose to have on the lanai! The view is wonderful, we were up early and enjoyed many sunrises over the ocean. We found the people who worked at the resort to be very pleasant and helpful. They keep the pool and all the gardens looking beautiful...daily! Some highlights for us for this our second time in Kauai: banana/macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup at Kountry Kitchen...kalua pork at The Tahitian grill...the waterslides...teriyaki burgers at Bubba's...the beach at Poipu...the Wed farmer's market...the coffee plantation...the Hawaiian Monk Seal on the beach in front of the resort! Lynn- Thanks so much for allowing us to use your condo! It was an amazing stay at a truly amazing place. I can't believe we ever considered staying at a hotel. Your condo was absolutely HUGE and was far beyond our expectations (the pictures don't do it justice). We loved the fact that we were staying in a very upscale resort but could still make our own meals, do laundry, etc. Throw in the beach stuff (coolers, chair umbrellas, etc) and it is an unbeatable deal. We had such a wonderful time in Waipouli #B402. The location is perfect , with outstanding views and the feel of a Grand Penthouse . We were there for fifteen days for our twenty fifth wedding anniversity. The food in the outdoor cafe is better than most of the other places we tried . The seared ahi and mushroom burgers were fabulous. The most compelling feature of the condo was the layout and warmness . I had an immediate relief when I walked through and noticed that everything was top-shelf. Beautiful sanctuary, having my morning tea watching the waves crest and slide, while seated in a balcony with a priceless views. My ten year old daughter went with my mother in law every morning to feed the huge coy fish in the lagoon near the lobby and wore out the two water slides. The bedrooms are separated nicely for privacy and our fifteen year old slept on the fold out in the living room. He liked having the kitchen and living room to himself. What is really nice is having the third bathroom, No one was ever disturbed. I will trade you my five bedroom one half acre home in San Diego any time you want. Thanx again for allowing our family to have such a wonderful memory of our best vacation!!!

A HUGE thank you to Lynn and Scott for helping to make our first Kauai trip so wonderful. My husband, 6-year-old son and I had a fabulous time, largely because of where we stayed. The accommodations were beautiful (great open view!), luxurious (big soaking tubs) and very family friendly (in room washer and dryer). We all enjoyed the water slides at the pool, and we used the bbq facilities. The bar & grill with live Hawaiian music on the resort was a big hit for us as well. My son is an early riser, so we often took advantage of the beautiful sunrises on the beach, only steps away. And who doesn't like having access to a relaxing Aveda Spa?? (Make a reservation early in your stay though; I foolishly waited until the last day and they were all booked.) We were centrally located on the East Coast so that we could enjoy both the North and the South. Friends told us that we'd have a preference regarding North vs. South before the week was over, but we loved them both equally and were so fortunate to be so close to everything. Kauai is most definitely my favorite of the Hawaiian islands, as there is so much to do and see, yet you feel that you are truly away from the hustle and bustle of every day life, and this resort provides a great way to enjoy Kauai. We even met a couple (in the relaxing, sand-bottom hot tub) who are Kauai residents, but were vacationing at the Waipouli Beach Resort! Obviously, we would highly recommend this resort, and this particular unit. We can't wait to return!!

This was a wonderful week. The location was wonderful. The view was great. The condo was well equiped with nice beds and a fine kitchen. The location on the island was nice for access N and S. Our 1 year old loved the pool and each day there was a monk seal on the beach. We can't wait to go back.

Stayed March 2009. Unit B402 was great. Perfect for 2 couples. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Ocean view from the Unit was fantastic. Waipouli Beach Resort is perfect for a visit to Kauai. Make sure you eat breakfast at the Ono Family Cafe just north of the resort and hit the happy hour at the Tomcat Grill in Koloa.

Hi Lynn: Val and I just had the pleasure of staying in your unit in Waipouli B402. It was all we had hoped for and is by far the best location with a view in the complex. The resorts location is the best on the Island as the drive to both ends of Kauai are about the same distance from here. Unbelievably spectacular condo. We didn’t know what to expect and found a little piece of heaven. The condo unit was very elegant and the resort was amazing. This was our first visit to the islands and we can’t wait to come back. The view from the condo was amazing and it is very convenient to any location on the island. This is a winner! We loved the condo at the Waipouli Resort. It is like staying at a luxury hotel, but with over twice the space. It is located in a great location on the island, so it is a quick trip to either Poipu or Princeville. Also, it is right across the street from Safeway, Starbucks and Longs Drug. We would highly recommend B402. It has a wonderful view of the pool and ocean, unlike many of the other units. Finally, the owners were extremely easy to work with and very responsive.

Very spacious, luxurious, and well furnished unit with lovely ocean views. The kids pool was perfect for our 1 and 3 year olds. The beach is not good for swimming but great ones are a short drive. The owners were a pleasure to deal with.

This is a fabulous place! We loved it. The unit is beautiful and very comfortable. The view is amazing. Our two boys (under 5) had a great time and loved the pool.
