Casa Jarden is in the nicest area in Puerto Vallarta, Conchas Chinas about a mile and a half from downtown, south, close to transportation so you do not need a car. You can call a cab that comes right to you door, or walk two blocks and get your own, or walk along the 15 minute beach path that takes you right to Los Muertos beach, shops, restaurants. Conchas Chinas also has its own beach.
Casa Jarden (garden) has a great ocean view from patios bedrooms living area, dining area. The living / dining area is very large. There are two large sofas, comfortable chairs. The dining area can seat up to 10 persons. Both are very nice, decorated with mexican tile with some throw rugs hand loomed in Oaxaca, oil paintings, many plants, local folk art and some colonial antique furniture. There is a patio off this with nice outdoor furniture to watch the boats go by or the city lights at night, nice place to have evening drinks.
The kitchen has everything you could want, large refrigerator, gas stove microwave, disposal coffee pot toaster, toaster oven blender, and with a bar and bar stools. Down the long native stone hallway are 3 of the bedrooms, all with king-size beds, large closets, patios, paintings, nice fabrics on bed and drapery, and more plants, beautiful tile floors. There are two bathrooms all in mexican tile floors and beautiful tile counters, one has a bathtub.
There is another patio between the living area and the bedrooms with sunshade canopy, table chairs perfect for morning coffee/breakfast surrounded by planter boxes and flowers. We are family owned. We provide a property manager and gardner that live on the property to help with anything you might want or need. The pool area has a built in barbeque, umbrella, chairs, lounge chairs a great view. This is a very secure property with gate entrance.

Room Without a View in Dilapidated Villa

The gorgeous ocean view is not accurate. The apartment has character, but is rundown. Sheets and towels are threadbare. The kitchen is not well equipped. The pool will fit 2 people if they are thin.
Owner response:I don't know what you do when guests state things that are not true. As you can see from the photo the view is of the whole bay. The towels are 4 months old and are not thread thin. As for the pool it is small but he knew that going in. It is about 20 by 25, staing that two people can get in it if they are thin is laughable. He did not complain about anything when he was there. As for the "run down" condition it is not. Since he did not mention what was run-down I can't respond to that. which is very un-fair. He had a bad attitude the whole time he was there is what I hear from my maid. I am surprised by this review because I gave him a reduced price $980 for 14 or 15 nights including tax and maid service. The people that arrived after him is very happy with the Casa tropical. When I contacted them they said the towels were fine the view, pool and condition of the Casa was good, they are staying for 6 months so that says something.
