There is also a large deck on the second floor. Romance is yours in the third floor master suite with king-size bed, full bathroom w/ jacuzzi tub, TV system and large deck. There is a full two-car garage with additional room in the driveway for two additional vehicles.
Oceanside is 8 miles from Tillamook and 85 miles from Portland. Oceanside is a very quiet community with no through traffic. Pristine Netarts Bay, with incredible crabbing and clamming, is nearby.

Why the Owner Chose Oceanside
Oceanside is one of the few coastal towns that are not directly on Highway 101. This makes it relatively undiscovered and quiet yet conveniently situated near the city of Tillamook with easy access to stores such as Safeway and Fred Meyer. A real bonus is the direct drive from Portland on Highway 8 which is very convenient for our busy family.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home comfortably accommodates 12 guests and still is cozy for a couple or family. Pristine Netarts Bay and the wonderful sandy shore of Oceanside is nestled between Cape Meares and Cape Lookout. You won't find any art galleries. Roseanna cafe's fine dining, Brewin in the Wind coffee shop with fresh pastries and soups and The Schooner with oven roasted pizzas are all the civilization that our family needs.

We are an active family of four. When we aren't on the soccer fields we enjoy escaping to Oceanside. Pristine Netarts Bay and the wonderful stretch of beach in Oceanside with the rugged monoliths offshore have something to offer everyone. Our children enjoy searching for crabs and other critters in the tide pools, boogie-boarding and evening camp fires.

The home was excellent in its cleanliness, order and overall condition. The amenities were excellent. The only thing missing would have been a wifi connection--but we went to the coast to get away from this. And we did have a broadband connection if it were critical. BearberryBreeze met all of our expectations. The beds were great, the kitchen was excellent, the location was perfect and we unconditionally recommend this home to others. The property both in and outside the house was well laid out and maintained. We were not in the center of a village and Oceanside was a simple short few minutes away. There was an excellent coffee/breakfast shop in Oceanside where interesting people gathered and Netarts had a very good store. The beach had great access and was a great place to walk.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.

The stay was great. The house was very large for the 9 people we had stay there. The bonus room/bunk room was so much fun for the three kids, two of which were teenagers. The kitchen was very spacious and had all the utensils needs for cooking and cleaning. The whole first floor of the house is tiled which was great for coming back from the beach, and not having to worry about walking on carpet with sand on your feet. The house was spotless when we arrived. The beds are very comfortable. You can sleep with the windows open and never hear a sound except the ocean. The views are great from every level of the house. It's not on the beach, but it's pretty where the house sits. We loved visiting the local shops and the cheese factory in Tillamook. We went clam digging in the mornings for the gaper clams. That's so much fun. The owners were very easy to work with. I would stay there again.

The home has modern amenities including good mattresses, modern kitchen appliances and good cookware (we really liked the kitchen), master bedroom jetted tub (very nice master bedroom and bathroom), adequate patio furniture, good BBQ, and nice furnishings. There was a bedroom/family room that the kids had fun in which included a fooseball table. The only thing that we would have liked to see added is maybe tv's in the two bedrooms on the mid floor (thats being picky). The master bed has a small 13". It worked out just fine because we weren't there to watch tv (there are 3 tv's total). We really liked the curbside appeal of the home. It really has nice architecture. The house was located in a quiet neighborhood. Actually, the whole town was quiet. We were quite amazed at how many people weren't there. The beaches were beautiful and wide open. Lots of room and very few people. The walk to the beach from the house is not for the faint of heart. We did it once, but was much easier to drive down (3 minutes or less). There are some great trails with very scenic views close by. We especially liked the the Capes lighthouse. If your looking for crowds and shopping, you won't find it in Oceanside (that was a good thing for us). Tillamook was just 10-15 minutes away with a well equiped grocery store. If you want shopping you probably have about an hour drive to get somewhere decent. The owner was easy to work with and responsive. They seemed to be very organized and we found everything at the house as promised. Good experience. We would stay here again.
