Originally built in the early 1940’s this home has been completely renovated from top to bottom to give you 2500 sq. ft. of living space.
The Cottage is located on a quiet, tree lined residential street, offering the best of both worlds, a private scenic backyard and all the fun activities of downtown Coeur d'Alene just a few blocks away. You will be able to enjoy fine dining, coffee shops, live music, farmers markets, and many other types of summertime activities.
The interior in this home is furnished in an artistic craftsman style. The original hardwood floors have been refinished in the entry way and dining room. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry area are tiled and the bedrooms and living room have new carpet.
Sleeping for up to 10 persons is available. The 3 upstairs bedrooms have a King size bed in one, a queen size bed in another and two doubles in the third bedroom. The downstairs bedroom has two twin beds. (An elevated Queen airbed is also available) There are two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances and has everything to meet your needs.
If you love bicycling or long walks along the lake you are only 2 blocks away from the Coeur d'Alene Lake Park Trail. This is a paved trail that runs along the River next to North Idaho College and then along the North side of Coeur d'Alene Lake on one side with the City Park and the Fort Grounds area on the other. It is perfect for early morning workouts or enjoying the evening sunset. We have included Two Fat Tire, automatic shifting beach cruiser bikes and One "Bicycle Built for Two" just for such occasions.
If you are a golfer you are only a few minutes away from the entrance of Coeur d'Alene's world famous (floating green) golf course on one side of town and the same distance from Coeur d’Alene’s Public Golf course on the other side of town.
If quiet nature walks are more your style you are only 5 minutes away from Tubbs Hill which overlooks the lake with over two miles of lake views Only hikers are allowed on these well kept trails to insure its pristine condition.
Also only minutes away are Sanders Beach and City Park Beach. Daily plane rides are available over the area, parasail rides, daily boat cruises, and the rental of smaller watercraft for your enjoyment.

We stayed at this charming cottage in July and found the owner to be responsive, respectful and easy to work with. The house itself was larger than it appeared in the pictures. Extras like blow dryers, condiments, tons of towels, shampoo, conditioner... made a nice extra touch. It is within a 10 minute walk from the beach and shops and located on a very private street. We had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for better!

Our family stayed here while on a ski trip. The location is great, a quiet street, easy walk to downtown, and short drive to the many restaurants to the north. The house is big with modern updated kitchen, bathrooms, and a large living room with big screen TV along with nice TV's in every bedroom. The owners keep this house in tip top condition. Recommend any time of year.

My wife and three kids traveled from Austin to Coeur d' Alene. We are big travelers and this was our first time in this part of country. Beautiful house with lots of character. Very updated with appliances, tvs and bathrooms but strong artistic charm. The town is five minute bike ride with lots of trails, beaches and good resturants. Plenty of local activities in a college type town.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Cozy Cottage in August. Lots of room outside for our grandchildren (and adults) to play and enjoy. The yard is beautiful. Plenty of room inside as the bedrooms and baths were very comfortable. The house was not lacking for anything in the kitchen, etc.

I recently stayed at the downtown bungalow during Ironman week. The home was beautiful and in a wonderful, friendly neighborhood. The home was very roomy and was perfect for entertaining/BBQ on back patio. The owners are wonderful people and were very accomodating to our needs and comfort. The home is within 10 minute walk to downtown and lake. If I'm ever back in CDA to race, I intend to book this home!
