Fresh, bright, and clean as only a new house can be! Built in 2007, our blessing can be yours as well for a long weekend or a week at a time. Our clean and peaceful environment has all the amenities to make your stay as quiet or exciting as you want.
Soak in the cool beauty of the woods while relaxing on the spacious deck overlooking High Rock Lake, the second largest in North Carolina. Enjoy fishing, swimming or boating off the new private dock.
Family friendly, the house is equipped with a portable crib, booster chair, baby gates and child safety locks where needed.
Don't be fooled by the quaint exterior; the inside is surprisingly spacious.
The living room is airy with lots of windows looking out on the lake and open to the eat-in kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The Master bedroom features a queen four poster bed. The 2nd bedroom also has a queen bed. The 3rd bedroom has two sets of bunk beds, one with a comfy full futon on the bottom. In addition, there is a full sofa bed in the living room.
Our clean environment is enhanced by our non-smoking and no pets policy.

Great fall getaway.

We rented this property for the month of October after selling our previous residence while we waited for our new house to be completed. Very light, bright and comfortable. Also quiet and relaxing with beautiful fall colors. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is centrally located to quite a few attractions and parks. We have paddled on the lake, hiked in Uwharrie National Forest, Morrow Mountain State Park, trails near High Point City Lake and High Rock State Park NW of Winston Salem. We have bicycled on the Greenboro's Watershed Trails System and on the North American Tobacco Trail in the Raleigh-Durham area. We had our daughter's family to stay two weekends and checked out the NC Zoological Park (wonderful) and Dan Nicholas Park (great for young kids). We even had a bond fire in the provided fire ring one evening, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. All in all it has been a lovely month.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

Thankyou for allowing us the opportunity to stay here in your beautiful lakehouse.It is ravishing and the views are hypnotic.We enjoyed our stay with our family who came in from other places. We traveled to morrow mountain state park, and boones cave park which was breath taking. We also went to Nascar.We hope that we have the opportunity to stay again,and thankyou again jesse and Kim.

My sisters, brother and I stayed at this beautiful cottage in October 2007. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Anything we wanted was there! We loved sitting on the deck and grilling dinner. We loved the airiness of the cottage - the openness and room! We will definitely check on availability next time we visit this area.

Our family enjoyed a beautiful weekend staying at this very comfortable home on High Rock Lake. The home was very clean, which was very important to us, and pleasantly decorated. We felt comfortable which allows us to truly relax and enjoy the lake. We have already made plans to return next year and look forward to spending a week instead of just the weekend.
