Set In the heart of Tuscany countryside, at the top of a hill, overlooking vineyards and olive groves. A group of typical farmhouses, once home of the local farmers and now completely restored maintaining the Tuscan rustic feel.
From the houses, the gardens and the patios the “postcard like” view is absolutely breathtaking: Borgo Fajani is the south facing part of Casanova, a small and quiet country hamlet. It is the perfect location for days of relaxation as well as an excellent base for exploring the region. Tuscany’s main towns are within close proximity: San Gimignano, Pisa, Florence Lucca and Siena are all within a 40 miles distance, as well as the seaside which his only 30 miles away. Tirrenia Golf Club is just 40 minutes driving far.

This is our last and best job. Two winters rebuilding an ancient barn, now turned in a typical Tuscan country house. Wooden ceilings, terracotta floors and… the famous Borgo Fajani amazing view on the valley. Three double rooms and three bathrooms on the first floor ; at the ground floor a big kitchen, a huge open-space living room with fireplace and a separate space for extra double sofa-bed with bathroom. Plus a wonderful private big covered terrace with kitchen and bbq facing the valley.

My husband and one year old son stayed in Lallina for one week during our four-week vacation in Italy. This was our favourite of the four places we rented on the trip. Below are some detailed points regarding the house and setting: - We arrived in cold weather and the owner asked if we minded taking the house instead of the apartment we had initially rented. The house was large and warm. Quite the upgrade! - Open, bright, clean, well provisioned. - Great place to stay with a baby/toddler. The cot and high chair were perfect and the house was relatively easy to baby-proof (only had to block off the stairs and move the television). - Easy access to laundry. - Large usable kitchen. - Large table. - Very comfortable beds. - Owner was responsive, easily reached, helpful, and very hospitable. - Great setting- we enjoyed getting our bread from the daily “bread truck” and buying cheese, milk, and yogurt from the neighbouring farms. Our toddler loved going for walks to see the chickens, dogs, birds, and neighbours. - Beautiful views. In warm weather we would have enjoyed sitting on the terrace.Did you find this review helpful? We were a group of 6 (3 couples) and we had a wonderful 9 days staying at Borgo Fajani. We were the first visitors to stay in Lallina which Alfredo had just finished renovating. 3 large bedrooms each with their own bathroom provided spacious and modern accommodation with spectacular views across the Tuscan valley and vineyards. Large kitchen and ample sitting and dining room also with views. Facilities were fantastic with beautiful warm and daily maintained pool, sunlounges, undercover BBQ area and tables also fine for working outdoors with the wifi enabling receipt of emails and internet. There is a working dairy and farm shop in the same hamlet only seconds walk away with fresh farm produce - milk, cheeses, eggs, honey, pasta, olive oil, balsamic etc. Only short drives to Pisa, Florence, Volterra and San Gimignano within an hour and Sienna, Lucca a little further. We all loved it! One special feature was Flora, a local resident of the hamlet who prepared a cooked a traditional Tuscan meal for all of us one afternoon and evening which we enjoyed with a glass (or more) of local chianti. Memorable! And finally, thanks to our wonderful host Alfredo, who went out of his way to make us feel at home. We look forward to going back.Did you find this review helpful?
