Place was just as advertised and perfect for what we required. Basically we were looking for a place that provided us with a good base from which to explore the city sights. It was on the smaller side but being just the two of us it didn't pose any problem. Watch your head when going up the stairs to bed though! Haim was very accommodating and friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place to others.

Tight quarters (only 8 feet wide!) but a great location! Loved the cafe downstairs. Nice to get in early and stay late. My son liked the sleeping loft. All was clean and neat, just as described. Only problem was lack of sound proofing. Could hear everything on the street and hallway on a busy Saturday night.

The apartment is in a great location, loads to do right outside the door, and just a block or two from 3 subway lines. Haim met us there upon arrival, and was very helpful and quick to respond to all my questions prior to our visit. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. We had 2 people staying - it might be a bit tight with more than 2 people. Also - not a big deal, but if you're tall you will want to know that the ceiling in the kitchen and shower is quite low. If you're under 6 feet tall, no problem.
Owner response:Thanks for your comments glad you had a good times hope to see you soon

Thank you so much Haim!! Hope to see you soon again!!!

Thanks, Haim, for hosting my husband and I during our quick business trip to NYC. As a VRBO owner myself, I'm especially impressed with your quick response to all queries. The location couldn't be beat. I agree with others in stating that this apartment provides a real NYC experience. The reliable wifi and computer were very much appreciated. The firm mattress was lovely. Thanks again!

This apartment is at a fantastic location near BBQ and all the street vendors of st. Marks place, the most bohemian area of NYC. Still it is safe and calm enough to have a bed rest weekend cause I got the flu and couldn't leave the apartment besides going to Walgreens that is 1 avenue away. Laundry mats, Walmart, lyquor stores and the number 4, 5 , 6, N nd R subway very close, and the best hotdog vendor of east village are minutes away. The apartment is small but not too small to make it uncomfortable. It's ideal for 2 ppl and perfect for one only like it was with me. Very clean and with everything u may need, besides a microwave and larger refrigerator what I found to be desnecessary. The little stove and frigobar style of refrigerator could carry anything I needed. The water takes a while to get hot but this is NYC. Tv and good wireless but the best was the feeling I was back at my college years in NYC but with more money. I had 3 big bags and I went shopping for food and clothes. With good will everything fitted better thn in an 1 bedroom apartment and I was very comfortable. I loved so much this apartment I wish the owners would sell it to me. Thank u guys, we barely meet or talked but with that apartment u guys provided the best experience I had in the city for years. Oh we didn't talk cause I didn't need it. They are always available I u need and will help u with everything. So... Wanna sell it to me? Lol thank u guys. I hope to stay there again and again and again.

This was the perfect place for me to stay. It was just me for a few nights, but I would have stayed longer and there is room for at least 3 people. The apartment is clean and in a perfect location. Walking distance to all the downtown spots and subway station. If you are hungry at 4 in the morning, no problem! Which is why I love NY so much. The owner, Haim was very helpful and cordial... and he waited for my late arrival. I would definitely stay here again, and the price is excellent for New York City.

This is all about location! The studio is in a very good location, walking streets from all Shopping. He had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the nearby restaurants, Cafe orlin is highly recomnended. If you're not going to spend many time indoors this is right for you. Me and my friends would stay again here.

We had a great time on our Girl's Weekend last week! The place was clean and tidy, and though small (as expected for an NYC studio), it was perfect for the three of us. It's in a great location right near Astor Place. While St. Mark's can be noisy, we didn't even notice it too much -- it's NY after all, right? :) The owners met us promptly when we arrived, provided everything we would need (including towels, an ironing board, and even a hair dryer!). Every interaction we had with them was good (from the initial booking to the completion of the trip) - they always answered emails quickly and were easily accessible. Definitely would recommend this place!

The apartment was very clean and included many amenities. It's location is great - close to subway, lots of restaurants and stores nearby, walkable from Greenwich Village after a late night out. The owner is also very dependable - always responded to our emails quickly and was very accommodating when our flight arrived later than expected. We had a wonderful experience.

The property was as described and was very clean and tidy, with fresh towels and linen. The location is excellent, close to many subway stations and in a nice area (looked like mostly students around here?). The cafe downstairs was consistently excellent - went for breakfast, dinner, and coffee. The amenities in the apartment were mostly very good (ironing equip and hairdryer particularly), but the computer/internet needs to be upgraded as not many sites will load including Facebook and BBC News. The air conditioning worked very well. Had an problem with the toilet breaking on the last day. Think this was a maintenance issue as it was due to rusting of an internal joint in the cistern's float. Hopefully it got fixed for the next guests! The owner was very nice and met us at the apartment to exchange cash/keys. He let us keep our luggage at his shop nearby on our last day as our flight was quite late. This saved us hassle and money, and we really appreciated this generosity. On the whole, the apartment was a good choice and I would recommend it for 2 people.

We stayed for a week when taking our son to NYU for a visit. The apartment is neat, clean, and the central location is very convenient. It is near NYU, the Village, subway, downtown or uptpown. Saint Mark's is a happening street and the Cafe next door is fabulous food at economical prices and open long hours, including 24 hours on Friday and Saturday. Although a bit of a squeeze for three, I would recommend this location and would readily return, and espcially if just two people. It is a great spot for a very good price in comparison to hotels and the manager is responsive and reliable. You can't go wrong staying at this location.

The location is absolutely perfect (and safe)! You can people watch right out of the front window. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The loft is extremely clean. Haim and his wife are very kind and very organized, which makes planning and arrival easy. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to stay in Greenwich Village! THANK YOU!

What an enjoyable experience! The space was adorable, clean, cool and fun. The loft felt like an additional room. We were grateful to have our own kitchen even though there was a great restaurant right below us and we didn't have to search around for an internet cafe which made it feel more like home. I plan on re-booking in October for my next business trip to NYC. Thanks again, see you in October!
