Better than advertised! Everything you need to dine in or walk to nearby fun and restaurants. The owner is extremely helpful and cares about your experience. Definitely eat at the Native Cafe, Flounders, The Rodizio Brazilian Grill (drive to Pensacola), and don't neglect Fort Pickens (Allow a couple of hours to roam around -- great place for a picnic). Above all, walk out the door, into the pool or onto the beach and RELAX!

Emerald Isle was great! It was even more than the pictures give it justice. We would highly recommend staying here. The view is absolutely perfect and the walk to the beach is very wonderful. The pools and hot tub was kept immaculate at all times. We stayed for 5 nites and during that time we saw dolphins, fish and rays jumping out of the water and have lots of pictures and video. We had fun on the beach and water and visited local restaurants. We would definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again in the future. The owner is extremely helpful and on top of things. Their place is fully equipped and made it even so much more convenient. Thank You once again for great memories! October 2011

The condominium was beautiful and spacious. The views were spectacular. Everything was clean upon arrival and all amenities were available. My family could not have been more comfortable or enjoyed our stay more. We typically vacation in Destin, Miami, or Key West, but after finding this condominium and the beautiful beaches of pensacola, we plan to make it our annual florida beach trip. Margaret was wonderful to work with and made sure there were no problems from check-in to check-out.

Great Family Vacation

Great place to stay. Since this is a corner unit, have three way view of the gulf. Pensacola Beach is much more relaxed and smaller than Destin/Fort Walton - more like a small beach town (however near Pensacola for city type activities including the National Air Station with its museum and the Blue Angels). Also, along the Gulf, each way from Pensacola Beach is protected shore line (7 miles worth, each direction, about 5 miles from unit). Thus you can have your own private beach area if you so desire.

Fantastic!!! I could stop right there and it would describe our week at Margaret's condo. Everything in the description, pictures, and information from Margaret was accurate. Being originally from Pensacola now living in Texas, we could have stayed numerous places for FREE as we have a lot of family & friends here. I don't regret spending the money to stay at the beach at all. We also have a special needs son that uses a wheelchair and it was so convenient to be at Emerald Isle and have the elevator to assist us in getting around with him. The location of the condo is perfect, both where it is at Emerald Isle and where the condo is located on the beach. You are close enough to walk to shopping, restaurants, the pier, but far enough away to have a great beach area from the crowd at the pier. Our trip was a long time in coming, as we were scheduled to go in 2010, but the oil spill happened and Margaret was so great to work with us on rescheduling. We look forward to staying at this condo again! Thanks Margaret for making my first trip home to Pcola in 9 years a great one! Kim & family!

Margaret and her unit were the BEST! Margaret was very nice and extremely helpful. The unit is amazing - very well equipped with everything we needed and very tastefully decorated. Views were amazing. This was our second year going to Pensacola Beach and it was the best stay! We plan on going every year and will be hoping to come back to this unit every time. This Condo is one of the best I have ever stayed at-a very fully stocked kitchen, and everything else you could possibly need. Very nicely decorated. Even though on the first floor, your view is perfect and there is no pool noise. It was great to have the wireless access or broadband if needed. The washer and dryer is always nice to have also. There are beach chairs and just about everything you need for a day at the beach. I would definitely rent this unit again if I go back to Pensacola Beach, and it did make the would go back list. The beach is fabulous. We communicated with Margaret several times while we were there and she went way out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. Its a fabulous condo and accurately described.

We've been to Pensacola Beach many times as we have family there and can definitely recommend this condo. It is immaculately clean and well stocked. Margaret, the owner, even left us a Christmas tree to put up over the holidays. The heated swimming pool, hot tub and exercise room are nice features of Emerald Isle that the family enjoyed. The view of the Gulf is gorgeous. Margaret was really flexible and well organized and so easy to work with. Thanks to her for a great stay.

Our family of nine just returned from a short stay at Margaret's condo and couldn't have been more pleased! The condo was immaculate and spacious and made us feel right at home. It was so nice to be so close to the beach and pools. We enjoyed the heated pool and the hot tub and the white sandy beaches. The exercise room was well-equipped also. Thanksgiving visit

My family and I rented Margaret's condo for the Thanksgiving holiday and we had a wonderful time. We were visiting my son who is in the Navy and we wanted a place where we could all be comfortable and spend quality time together with no worries. Margaret's place was exceptional. The rental was very clean and decorated very nicely and the view is beautiful. Margaret was so easy and caring to work with. After speaking to her I knew we had rented the right place. I highly recommend this place to anyone and hope to be back soon myself.

Beautiful Beach

We stayed in this condo 4 nights with my Wife,Son & his girlfriend. The Condo is vary spacious. The beach & Condo common areas are very nice & quiet. The owner did everything she said she would do. I do recommend a short drive to Fort Pickens for a self tour small fee per car. Also take the 175 step hike to the top of the working light house $5 per person.

If you are interested in this condo, you won't be disappointed!!! My family of 10 stayed here for Fall Break. It is just what we were looking for. my family stayed in this condo over columbus day the condo was great. It had alot of room and plenty of sleeping space. Because the condo was on the first level we could see the beach and talk to family at the pool. Great information on rent process. great communication with email. i highly recommend this condo.the best part was no oil on beach.

We recently attended our Marine Son's graduation from the Navy base in Pensacola. We wanted to spend a little extra time in Pensacola after graduation and have a family vacation. This unit is beautiful and just as the owner described. We couldn't have asked for a more helpful and friendly individual as the owner of this unit. She answered all questions we had and even went as far as to stay on the phone with me during our lost moment to assure that we arrived at our destination. Upon walking into our temporary home, what met us was a breathtaking view of the beautiful waters of the Gulf. Thank you to this wonderful individual for opening her home and allowing us the pleasure of enjoying some family time with our son. Some time in the distant future we will again return to Pensacola Beach and enjoy another great vacation:-)

Best vacation ever The listing was very accurate,property very clean and well maintained. Margret was so helpfull and answered every guestion we had.The condo is located walking distance to nearby activities,attractions and lots of great restaurants. We could watch the kids from the balcony when they were at the pool and on the beach.Great place to take the teenagers.I would recommend this condo to anybody who needs to soothe their souls and just relax.

After searcing the internet for days, I found this condo. My husband and I decided to take our teenage daughter and a couple of her friends to the beach for their senior trip. I can not begin to say how wonderful this condo turned out to be. The view was amazing, it was so very clean, neat and inviting. The location was perfect. The beach is beautiful, clean and quiet. Margaret Ryan was very nice and was available for anything we needed. We all had a wonderful time and will go back. It is also a great place to run.

Everything was perfect!!! The property was exactly as described. It was immaculately clean & very well maintained. The view is breathtaking and it was extra nice being in a corner unit with side windows as well as gulf front windows & patio. The owner was very helpful and immediately returned our security deposit, almost before we arrived back home. I whole heartedly recommend this site for vacations and I hope my family will be able to return again soon.

A slice of heaven

My family and I stayed here in April and I can't begin to explain how amazing our stay was. It started with the owner who was phenomenal and a pleasure to work with. Booking a place you've never seen can be challenging, but the owner made it so easy and she was extremely friendly. The name "spectacular corner unit" does not justify how truly amazing this place is. It had all of the ammenities we could ask for. Its location on the first living floor made everything so convienient. The place was immaculate inside and allowed for us to feel right at home. The view was breathtaking. The location of the condo was accessible to everything. Everyone that we talked to in the condo was very friendly an accomodating as well. Not only do I highly recommend this place if you truly need to get away from life and relax at a place that it is a little slice of heaven, we are looking at dates to plan another visit. DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS PLACE.

Great Unit

We were thrilled to be able to return to the beach again this year to our favorite condo. This was the first year we rented directly through the owner and she has a dream to work with. Her unit is beautiful (even better than the photos), very comfortable, and spacious (3 bedroom end unit). The kitchen is well stocked for in unit cooking and the beach towels and chairs were very appreciated. The flat screen TVs in each bedroom and new bedding were great updates since our last stay. We love being close enough to walk to the boardwalk, resturants, and of course the beach. The pool, hot tub and workout facilites were also greatly used. We look forward to our next visit.

My family had the pleasure of staying in the unit during October. I absolutely cannot say enough about the owner's kindness. She made every effort to accomodate us and our particular needs. We are truly appreciative of that; superior service is difficult to find in our world today. The unit was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a truly upscale environment. The unit is beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, and convenient to greater Pennsacola. I loved that it was on an island and in a truly superb setting. The pools were clean and well cared for. The beach is beautiful and just a few steps from the condo. I would recommend this unit to anyone who understands that this facility is a permanent home for many families and is able to respect that. I greatly appreciated that everyone living and visiting there seemed to be very respectful of each other. There was never any loud music or inappropriate behavior. It is definitely a family friendly place. I can honestly say that I have never stayed in a cleaner home; for us, that was a major concern with two small children. Overall, I would give it a five star rating.

Had an awesome time in this condo week of Sept 26-Oct 3. This condo was perfect for our trip and exceeded all our expectations(group included my husband and I, 2 kids (ages 3 and 10 wks) and husband's parents. Being an end unit, the wall of windows to the west really makes a big difference and was just how Margaret Ryan (owner) described in the listing. Margaret was super to work with and very flexible when we had to change our dates at the last minute. Loved being on the first floor too as you could converse easily with family members down at the pool just below the unit but you still had a really great view of the beach. This unit has a rocking chair which was perfect having a newborn on the trip. Would highly recommend. Location great. Walk to shops and restaurants too.
