This is a beautiful two bedroom 1500 square foot duplex, across the street from the beach in Encinitas. There is one bathroom, towels are provided. There is three sofa daybeds in the living-room.

It has a 48 foot solar heated first place lap pool from The National Pool and Spa Association for "The Most Natural Pool in Southern California".

A private outside Jacuzzi brand Jacuzzi that is 7 by 7 feet, sauna, out door pool table and ping - pong table, a gas grill and burner, a very large redwood deck. In the back yard are two ponds and three waterfalls.

The front yard is tropical and fenced in for dogs.

There is beach towels, beach chairs, and a large cooler.

Animals are welcome after arrangements have been made, there is a $100. fee for cleaning for dog and cats.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, garbage disposal, a double oven, blender, micro-convection oven. There is a private patio with a roof skylight and shutters. There is filtered water and ice.

There are several great beaches near by - Moonlight Beach, Beacons Beach, Stone Steps Beach, Ponto Beach. It is located one block from 101 Pacific Coast Highway, and a couple miles away from Highway 5.

There is a connecting door between the rooms, and a walk in closet.

The deposit is $500. The cleaning fee is $75. The other half of the rent is due within 30 days of checking in. There is a $100. cleaning fee for cats and dogs.

I live in the other half of the duplex, I am single and quiet. I live with my two very cute small Jack Russell terriers.

Please, no inquiries for bands, parties, or weddings.

There is a 10% city Hotel tax, unless you stay 31 days or more.

Recommendation:

Wow! Staying in Rhett’s Neptune Ave. vacation home was truly an “ultimate” southern California beach town experience! The location is awesome, steps from the beach stairs. All the homes on Neptune are ‘grand’, and Rhett’s is no exception. It has a mysterious, tropical paradise-like feel. I was totally relaxed and felt at home. The curvaceous swimming pool (Rhett told me it won an award) with its crystal rock waterfall glowing at night was a mind blower. Floating, looking up at the towering palms – I was in a fantasy realm. The furnished, bamboo enclosed porch was another great place to hang – and the kitchen was amazing. I love to cook, and I did! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. To have a vacation rental exceed my expectations was a real treat. Rhett was a gracious and accommodating host. Go for it!!
