Our stay at Oceanair was quite enjoyable and lived up to out expectations. The property was as adverstised - comfortable and well appointed. Our ground floor unit was very accessable to the pool and beachside trails and we particularly enjoyed the ability to stroll/bike on the trail along the shore - which included easy walks to retaurants in close proximity. The kitchen was well equiped with all that you need to cook/dine for yourself which can be a good way to save a few bucks. The property management staff were responsive to all of our questions and requests, which also included transport to and from the water taxi on arrival and departure. Excursion operators will pick you up at the private dock which is very convenient as well. Belezian locals are very friendly and willing to help you out when you need it. Two suggestions; It would be nice if they could provide a pass to cross the toll bridge into town; 5 bucks round trip everytime you go into town is a bit annoying (and costly) after awhile. While the immediate grounds are kept spotless and well maintained, the shore areas close by were littered with piles of flotsum and garbage that really detract from the beauty of Belize. Seems like local property owners could chip in to keep these common areas clean.

Owner response:Thanks for the nice complements. To clarify the toll bridge fee, there is a charge for crossing to and from town for everyone traveling by cart or taxi similar to what you might expect if traveling on a U.S. byway with toll booths. Not too many years ago (before the construction of the bridge) there was a hand ferry to cross the water also charging a fee. They would board as many as would fit on a small raft and hand pull everyone across by rope. As for the refuse, you do find a build up especially along undeveloped areas around the island and there is an ongoing attempt with owners, residents and volunteers to remedy the situation. We remind ourselves this is considered a 3rd world country and they are working at resolving the additional ecological challenges with the increase in population and tourism. Regardless, as we sit on the veranda we never take for granted the stunning ocean view and pristine water and sea life.

San Pedro, Belize

Had a wonderful time. The unit is spacious and very nicely appointed. The kitchen was very well equipped. The property is close enough to town if you want to make a trip into San Pedro but far enough out of town if you want privacy. I would certainly recommend the property for your stay.

Great location great condo

The condo is nicely decorated and located in a picturesque spot on the beach. We spent 10 days there with our 2 grand sons and had a wonderful time. The sunrises were spectacular. The people wer3 friendly. The weather was perfect. There are great restaurants and bars on the beach a short walk from the condo. We rented a golf cart to drive to San Pedro. We toured the island on the golf cart. We went fishing. We went to Lamanai and saw the Mayan ruins and screamer monkeys. I recommend this for anyone who wants to relax and/or have a fun adventure.

This is a wonderful condo. It is large and spacious and equipped with great furnishing. The kitchen is large and up to date. The people who manage and own this property were very helpful in answering any questions that we had. It has a wonderful patio that looks out over the pool and the beach. We would definitely recommend this property.

Great Condo, Great Owner

We had a great time! We stayed for a week with two young children. The condo is beautiful, well-constructed, and very spacious. We had everything that we needed. There is a security guard that patrols the complex every evening. It was really nice to be away from the bustle of downtown San Pedro. We rented a golf cart that helped with the commute to town and made us able to explore the island. The kids had a great time. We recommend snorkeling Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley. I highly recommend staying here. Everything was absoluteley wonderful! It was nicer than the pictures showed. Everything was new. Very clean. The other residents of the condo were nice and very helpful. The tips that Keith gave for doing trips were very helpful. We hired Josh to take us fishing and snorkeling on the reef. The pool was very refreshing. Lots of good places to eat nearby. Much nicer than San Pedro.

The pictures are great,and the reality is even better.Everything is as advertised,beautiful beaches,georgeous views,sunshine abounds.Fishing is great,snorkling the reef is fantastic. the condo is immaculate.

March 20009 Four of stayed here and had a great time. The condo was very clean and very spacious. It had everything we could have needed. It was quiet and very private. We rented bikes or walked everywhere we needed to go. The neighbors were very friendly. The owner was very easy to work with. We would definitely return.

Our family of 5 stayed 3 weeks in July and had a fantastic time!! The condo was perfect and the view was beautiful. We had plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. We snorkeled, fished and relaxed. We rented a golf cart to get around as our older teenagers liked to go into town. Be sure to take a trip to the Mayan Ruins. It was outstanding. Would stay here again..

We stayed at the condo in April and it was even better than expected. The view is as good as it gets and the condo was super. Their are several places within walking distance to eat. The Lazy Croc Barbaque was outstanding and inexpensive at the same time. Towards town is Akbol with very good healthy food that my girlfriend loved, oh yea cheap beer also (my health food). The owner Keith gave me the names of some people to look up for fishing and snorkeling. Josh right behind the condo was great taking us out in his boat. I like to dive and snorkel and Belize is the perfect spot. If you want a beautiful condo with a great view, like to fish, snorkel, dive or just relax by the pool after a walk on the beach then you will love this spot. One happy customer, Monty

We escaped frozen northern British Columbia for two weeks in March/April 2009 to stay at this wonderful condo located on Ambergris Caye. It is as nice as it appears in the pictures and video. It is well equipped and very clean. Don't miss the beautiful view from the top of the building. The airport pick-up is worry free - even if you arrive an hour early than expected. They will stop so that you can pick-up groceries before you head out to the condo. We enjoyed several successful fishing excursions with guides suggested by the owner. You can BBQ your catch on BBQ at the condo. (Delicious) You can buy charcoal at Superbuy in San Pedro. If you dive, we highly recommend Amigos del Mar. They will pick you up on the dock in front of the condo. We had a fantastic time and would stay here again. We highly recommend this unit.

The condo was beautiful it had everything you could possibly want.It is on the north side of the island which is much cleaner and more laid back.Snorkeling is the best I've done, tons of marine life to see.If you take any excursions,talk to Josh in the house behind the condo he is awesome tell him Dana and Jon from Denver sent you.

"UnBelizable" accurately describes the week we spent on Ambergris Caye in this beautiful 2 bedroom condo in January 2008. The condo accomodations were fabulous. Our home away from home was new, clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The view was beautiful from both inside and out. We enjoyed the view with sunrises on the porch, sunsets on top of the building, and views day or night on the palapa at the end of the dock. The oceanside pool was refreshing and very clean. Excursions were easy to book at White Sands Cove nearby. Transportaion to and from the airport, which was provided with the rental, was worry free. There were many options to get to and from the town of San Pedro but also many options for dining out nearby along the beach. Everyone on the island was so helpful and friendly. We would definately stay in this condo again for a return trip.

We stayed in this beautiful spacious and very clean unit for 2 weeks in Dec. 2007. The condo and everything in it is brand new, swimming pool in front of the building and the beach are very clean. Easy access to golf cart and bicycle rentals at the nearby White Sands Cove Resort.The condo owner introduced us to a great fishing/snorkeling guide, we caught and cooked a lot of fish. In general we had a great time and will definitely come back to Ambergris Caye.
