Our one, two, and three bedroom country cottages and homes are located in a waterfront community on the Great Peconic Bay in Long Island's historical North Fork.
Nestled within vineyards and farmland on three garden-filled acres, yet convenient to many local restaurants, fine dining and attractions. Our well-kept cottages offer a pleasant sense of contentment that keeps families coming back season after season.
All of our Cottages have just been newly renovated.
Each cottage has heat and air conditioning. All the living rooms have a futon or pull-out sofa. Each kitchen has modern, full-size appliances and the living room has wifi wireless internet and cable TV. For outdoor enjoyment, each cottage has screened-in porch with table and chairs, outdoor barbecue, picnic table, and outdoor water faucet. Boat docking is also available on our 365 feet of waterfront property. Great location with tranquility at its best and just 15 minutes from the Hamptons.
We also have a guest house which has one private bath and suite and two room with a shared private bath. All rooms have a queen-size beds.
Many attractions are local or only a few minutes drive a way, e.g., local wineries, fine dining, water parks and much, much more. Come and enjoy our wonderfully relaxing retreat, our little slice of heaven has to offer. Come and enjoy the tranquility of mother nature at its best!

I paid cash for the whole summer - a mistake - when I became ill and could not remain I asked for release from the lease after a sufficient period of time. I was told that it would only occur if they could re-rent the cottage as they could only make money in the summer, but they would try to rent for the remainder. That did not happen and I am out several thousand dollars. I recommend paying for small time periods by credit card, although they charge an extra 3% to the fees if you do not pay cash. The only reimbursement I received was part of the security after a cleaning fee was deducted. My husband and I spent the 4th of July weekend here with our family and friends (and three dogs!!!) and had the most relaxing vacation in a long time. The location is perfect and the accomodations are great - so close to great restaurants and the wineries, and the property is so scenic and tranquile!! Definitely a place to stay when going out east!!!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

I wanted a unique and relaxing get away. From the moment you enter the grounds you know your in for a treat. The grounds are immaculate and our room was cozy and inviting. Everything is provided for beautiful vacation. Sandy the proprietor is extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to truly get away and spend some quality time with your loved ones. I look forward to my next visitRecommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

My husband and I (and our 2 dogs) stayed at one of Sandy and John's cottages for 6 months until we found a house to rent. They couldn't have been better hosts. Every question we had was answered immediately and their lifelong knowledge of the area was wonderful. The cottage (2 bedroom/1 bath) was so comfortable and spacious. I especially loved the kitchen and the hardwood floors. Every amenity was taken care of, the only thing we bought were groceries. Many mornings Sandy or John would stop by with fresh vegetables or flowers from their gardens and we were made to feel so at home. We never wanted for something to do in the area and for those nights you might want to just stay home and relax, you couldn't ask for better surroundings. My family and I have been going out to J & S Reeves Cottages for a few years, we have stayed in various cottages and this year had two of the cottages facing the water. We always have a wonderful time. It is very relaxing and charming. We bring our food with us and use the gas BBQs to cook so we don't have to leave until we are headed home. Everyone gets to do something they want - they can nap in the hammocks, fish off the dock, play games or just relax out by the water. About the owner: We are native to Aquebogue, LI and love everything about this area. We both grew up in farm families here and have 2 grown children that are with their significant others and have 2 granddaughters. We have a Mastiff dog named Montana born on Aug. 29, 2008 We love the water, gardening and travel in the winter. Love to meet all the nice guests that come here to stay.

Great area and wonderful waterways. We have the Great Peconic Bay, Long Island Sound, Atlantic Ocean, and Peconic River. Great seafood, and all types of food restaurants. Wonderful boating and golfing. Plenty of wineries for the Wine Fanatic with plenty of tours and tastings. Water Park fun for everyone and Tanger Outlets are nearby for great shopping. There are many local shops for all sorts of neat gifts downtown and around.

On the water, very quaint and wonderful wildlife to wake up to. Great restaurant within walking distance e.g., Meeting House Creek Inn, which is located on the water and other wonderful restaurants to drive to by car. We are Pet Friendly! Cottages are overlooking the vegetable garden and we have terrific Farm Stands within walking distance and nearby. 'Tranquility at its Best'
