Our beautiful oceanfront Mustang Island vacation condo features a spectacular unobstructed view of the Texas Riviera. The uncrowded, silky sandy beach is only footsteps from your door. You are just a leisurely stroll over the boardwalk to sand between your toes!
A magnificent sunrise greets you every morning as you start your day with a cup of steaming hot coffee on your private tiled patio. Marvel at the pelicans and the seagulls as they soar past your vantage point with wall-to-wall windows on the NINTH floor. Miles of undeveloped beach and dunes beckon you, and there is no crowd to spoil the experience. And when night falls, the sound of the ocean surf will lull you to complete relaxation.
The Sea Gull enjoys a quiet and relaxed environment. Because many of the units are owner-occupied, you encounter fewer people on the beach and at the pool and other common areas. The walls and floors are thick and well insulated, so your neighbors won’t disturb you. It’s a leisure and family resort, far from the madding crowds of South Padre. Yet, if you seek a livelier environment, you are only a short distance away from the friendly fishing town of Port Aransas (with its great restaurants) or the thriving city of Corpus Christi.
The inviting swimming pool is just steps from your door, yet you are not subjected to 'pool noise.' You can enjoy the hot tub (with waterfall feature), the tennis and basketball court, the fitness equipment, and the game room with pool table, ping pong table and arcade games. Our top-rated, two-bedroom condo is a great getaway for couples, families, or old friends. Loved the condo! The a/c, appliances, beds, bathrooms, all worked great. Plenty of dishes to cook full meals, nice pots and pans and dishes to eat off of. The condo was lacking nothing!!! We have stayed at many condos in P. A. and this is the best one we have stayed at. Sea Gull employees at the front desk are helpful and very friendly. There was a lady picking up trash out side and she was very friendly. The grounds and where very clean and well kept. Unit 906 is beautifully decorated. The kitchen table sits 4 and I wish it was a little bigger. The view are wonderful! If you want a view stay here it is worth the price.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: The Sea Gull sits at about the center of Mustang Island, about 10 miles north of Padre Island and 8 miles south of Port Aransas. (See a map.) Approximate Driving Times ------------------------- Corpus Christi Airport: 1/2 hour Austin: 4 hours San Antonio: 3 hours Dallas / Ft. Worth: 7 hours Houston: 3 1/2 hours Denver, Colorado: 18 hours Detroit, Michigan: 24 hours From Corpus Christi, follow South Padre Island Drive and drive over the Laguna Madre via the JFK Causeway. Turn left onto State Highway 361 and drive about 10 miles to the entrance of the Sea Gull Condominiums on the right. Private planes may also access the small airport, Mustang Beach Airport. Run by the city of Port Aranasas, this unmanned airport has a 3,500-foot lighted runway which has been newly repaved.
Why the Owner Chose Sea Gull:
We first discovered and fell in love with Port Aransas in late 2004, and by mid-2006, we had invested in our own little piece of this undiscovered gem called Mustang Island. We are fortunate to be able to realize our dream of living in two worlds--mountains and ocean. We live in Colorado in the summer and Mustang Island for the winter.
