Sunset Fishermen's Village Spa & Resort is a resort 40 kilometers south of the Cancun International Airport in the most upscale area of the gated community of Playacar in Playa Del Carmen, Quintana Roo.
The resort is right on the beach with its own beautiful infinity pool/spa. Complete day spa is located on-site. Playacar is a golfing, gated community amongst Mayan Ruins. The city of Playa Del Carmen has many shops, a variety of restaurants, and sidewalk cafes. If you're interested in a great nightlife, the "Hotel Zone" in Cancun is 40 to 45 minutes by bus or car. Or, you can simply walk along the beach to the many local night clubs. In walking distance from Fishermen's Village is the ferry service to Cozumel, a world renowned diving and snorkeling island, holding the world's second largest reef.
Within the resort, there is a full restaurant and two bars, as well as a kitchen and dining facilities in each room. There is also an OPTIONAL "all-inclusive" plan, which is recommended. It is $49 per person/per day. It includes breakfast, and lunch or dinner, as well as free domestic drinks.
The rental would be for ONE WEEK at a time from Saturday to Saturday.
Currently available: March7-March28, 2009. Other weeks may be rented subject to availability. Keep in mind that the Cancun area is in high demand right now, and the demand outpaces supply, so reserve early! The exact dates that you want to reserve are on a first-come first-served basis.
Depending on availablility the rentals are either entire apartment suites with 2 bedrooms/3baths or 2 separate studios, both options accommodate up to eight people. All units have kitchens and Jacuzzis on the balcony with a beach view!
