The Home
A beautiful Lake House located in Lavonia, GA (exit #173 closest exit to Atlanta) on Lake Hartwell. The home has 3 bedrooms a loft and 2 baths with a large Kitchen, Dining Room, Great Room with two story stone fireplace. Laundry room, covered front porch and huge rear deck overlooking the lake. The master retreat is over 600 square feet and has a TV and DVD. The master bath includes a large vanity with separate shower and a garden tub.
There is a King size bed and a double futon in the Master bedroom. A queen size bed in the guest room and a bunk bed with a trundle in the kids room. The loft has a double futon and there are two additional twin sized cots in the walk in closet. The house will accommodate 10 people plus a pet or two. Yes our home is pet friendly.
The home includes everything you need to enjoy your time at Lake Hartwell. The linens, bath towels, soap and paper products are included and the home is maintained by a professional cleaning service. We have hundreds of books to read and over 25 games and puzzles. The entertainment center includes a TV and DVD connected to cable that has HD channels as well as another TV and DVD in the Master Bedroom. We have WiFi high speed internet to keep you connected. Outside we have rocking chairs on the porch, table and chairs on the back deck and a gas grill overlooking the lake.
We built this house and have used it as our second home. The kids are keeping us busy with activities and we decided to rent our home. The Lot
The setting is very private with 154' of lake frontage on a deep cove just off the main channel at buoy T-64. The lot is over 1 acre and covered with large mature hardwoods. You will see 4-6 deer everyday in our yard.
The cove is about 400' long and we are the only dock in the dock, so it is safe to swim and play. The cove is very private and has water year round. The dock is 10 X 20 with a 60' arched walkway with rails and there is room on the dock for two boats to be tied up. We have 2 Kayaks on the dock that you can use to explore the lake.
The upscaleneighborhood includes paved roads and underground utilities and most of the neighbors live there full time. The neighborhood is located just 1 mile from the entrance to Tugaloo State Park. The park offers camping, amphitheater, beach, tennis, playgrounds, putt putt, miles of nature trails, and boat ramps.

Thank you so much for making our trip so restful and relaxing with the great accomodations. I had my daughter, her husband and 5 year old grandaughter along for the trip and a couple of freinds. It was so nice waking up and sitting out on the back deck, drinking coffee and over looking the lake everyday. The path to the water was really easy to walk on to get to the dock. My kids and grandaughter took the kayaks out daily in the cove. The neatest thing was seeing all the squirrels and deer in the back yard and nearby woods. We also went to the park to picnic and they have a putt-putt golf course, big nice wooden swings, and a great swiming area. We enjoyed the variety of toys, games and puzzles you had. I was in town for a wedding and had to fix a couple of dishes and was very happy your well stocked kitchen had all the pots & appliances I needed, such as a mixer, blender, mixing bowls etc. The best part...it was an easy 10 minute drive to town. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had a wonderful time at this house and Lake Hartwell. There was plenty of room for us, the kids and grandkids. Good privacy with the bedrooms located on the ends of the home. The interior was beautifully decorated and the furniture was nice. The place was well kept and we will be back.
