  It is difficult to describe how amazing this property is - you have to see it to fully understand how fantastic the views, the house and the amenities are. The photos do not do this great property justice. Morning, day or evening I found myself enjoying everything from the stunning views (which you have from every spot on the property), relaxing in the hot tub, cooking a meal on one of the terraces or simply relaxing listening to frogs and watching birds fly by. This property has everything from the backlit waterfall and automatic skylights to all the kitchen supplies you may need to use the outdoor gas grill. The owners were incredibly helpful and made the entire experience (from booking to checking out) wonderful and extremely easy. Will absolutely be back again soon.

  We were only here for a short stay. We arrived late and the valley was singing with frogs and owls above our heads. We thought that was amazing until we woke up - WOW! The views were STUNNING. I cannot describe how beautiful. The pictures DO NO justice! We planned on sleelping in on our vacation, but awkoke at 6:30 in the mornings just to enjoy the serenity and divinity!! If we hadn't already planned all our dinner and lunch reservations, we would have enjoyed meals there. The place is SET with everything you need to cook. There is a view from every where you can stand on the property, lavender plants align the hot tub area (genious!) and a couple lemon trees are beautiful to see when you're from the midwest. We saw hummingbirds in the (AMAZING) waterfall outside the windows of the bedroom. REMOTE open skylights... Seriously... I could go on and on... The owner was super nice and suggested an incredible restaurant to go to when we arrived late and starving after a long drive. It was my favorite meal of the whole trip. I can't imagine how ripped off we would have been in the REAL experience of Napa had we not stayed here. THANK YOU! WE WILL BE BACK!!

  The villa was absolutely unparallel in beauty, peace, and serenity. It was our Heaven!! Had we been able to tear ourselves away from it, we would not have missed our flight. We could not have been any happier, and we feel truly lucky and blessed to have been able to experience it.

  This house and the view are absolutely AMAZING!!! I can't even put into words how overwhelmed by the view we were, when we stepped onto the patio for the first time. The pictures are great, but don't it justice. We will be staying here every time we visit Napa from now on. Tom and DeAnna (owners) were wonderful, accommodating, and very helpful. I can also fully recommend hiring their limo service for a fantastic guided tour of the local vineyards. It was the trip of a lifetime and we can't wait to go back as soon as possible. If you are going to Napa, you should do yourself a favor and rent this house!

  We stayed at Tuscamedi in late October my husband and I were celebrating our five year wedding anniversary! This place is truly magical and the views are absolutely breath taking. We both felt right at home, expect here, we got to enjoy overlooking vineyards, mountains and incredible sunsets! I have only been to Napa once and I wouldn’t want to stay at any other place in Napa. Nothing could possibly beat this house! Dianna and Tom made us feel like friends right off the bat with great insight on where to go and what to do, including some insider info on some private events and the best wineries to visit. They also have a limo you can rent in the event you don’t want to drive. Thank you DeAnna and Tom for making our anniversary one to remember! We promise we will be back for another visit!

  What a great experience this was. After spending 4 nights in San Francisco and enjoying that we made our way to Napa and landed at this fantastic house with views and ambience like no other. It was easy to get to and the house was well done and stocked with all of the amenities you need. The best part is the outside with the beautiful landscaping and the spectacular views of Napa. You will enjoy your time here so much it is hard to leave it. We were there for 3 nights and only ate out 1 of those and cooked in the other 2 because it was hard to leave. We own a condo in Florida and use VRBO and this was a very good experience with Tom and Deanna. Highly recommend and we will come back for sure.

  This was our first experience using VRBO and it couldn't have been a better one! We stayed with our best friends and there is plenty of room for 4, and so relaxing. Deanne drove us one day in their limo and it was perfect! Everyone at home is asking where we went as all of our pictures showed such a great place and time, highly recommended. We will definately be back next year!

  We arrived a touch early and had the opportunity to chat with DeAnna a bit. Thank you for being so nice to us. What a treat it was to feel welcome and comfortable in this beautiful home. We stayed 7 days and I couldn't have imagined that it would have been as nice as it was. The views, the comfort, the close proximity to everything Napa! We also booked the limo for a day and was even MORE impressed by that. Her knowlege of Napa and "in's" to great wineries were only second to the great service. Thank you for the memories of our first trip to wine country. We WILL visit and recommend your place to all my friends.

  We just had the privilege to spend a wonderful vacation in this property. Frankly, other than to go visit a few wineries, we didn't need to leave and really didn't want to leave the rental. We were as comfortable as if we were home. The house is emaculately clean and well cared for. The grounds are gorgeous and the view is second to none in Napa. Tom and DeAnna are wonderful hosts and easy to communicate with in the even you have even the slightest question. If I tried to find something to complain about, I can't find it. Tom even had a wonderful fountain running in the little courtyard right outside the master bedroom. The views are amazing. When they say 270 degree views--they really mean it. We've rented from VRBO all over the USA and usually have a great experience. Usually no complaints and usually find that the listings are put together pretty well to raise your expectations. This listing cannot adequately describe how awesome this place is!

  Great get-away retreat. The pictures are accurate but cannot capture the splendor of the 270 degree view as when you see it in person. Tuscany style villa, comfortable, peaceful and romantic. Complete with full kitchen, spa, Weber grill, widescreen TV; Wifi. It has a multi-terraced garden with a different spot for every mood. Master Bedroom with see-thru sky lights which opened and closed via remote. Owners very pleasant and offered limo service to visit wineries. Already recommended property to co-workers/friends. Attended work conferences in the morning, visited wineries in the afternoons and then come back for relaxing BBQ with wine (of course) looking out over the valley view and enjoy the spa (at night, see so many stars). Beats staying in a stuffy over commerialized resort. We plan on coming back.

  This must be heaven! Tuscamedi is a beautiful, completely well-appointed, property that overlooks the entire Napa Valley. The vistas from sunrise to sunset are breathtaking and allow one to take that one more deep breath to tranquility. (Plan your day so that you can be on the patio to watch the sunset. Seriously.) As wonderful as all the places to go in Napa are, it is something special that the home you are renting is the most beautiful and special of them all. The home was warm and inviting. Completely comfortable in every way -- the furniture and the beds -- with quiet and privacy that you will fully appreciate. The hosts were available and accomodating, including calling me ahead of my arrival to alert me to some unusual traffic in the neighborhood below. The house was spotless and the kitchen had everything you'll need (wine opener and glasses!!!). And, it's really just a quick ride downhill to get to downtown Napa for whatever you want/need. I can imagine that my return to Napa will be based on the availability of Tuscamedi, as it defined my experience so wonderfully that I cannot imagine staying anywhere else.

  My husband and I recently stayed here and it truly was amazing! The views have got to be some of the best in Napa. The pictures give you an idea but the actual views are beautiful.The house is perfect with everything you need, including large windows to take in the breathtaking skyline. The hot tub is an added bonus. We look forward to returning and would definitely stay here again! Thank you for allowing us to experience your awesome getaway!

  This review is long overdue. My girlfriend and I went to Napa and stayed here in mid January. The pictures don't even do this place justice. The house is on the very top of a hill away from everything else, you can literally see every part of Napa from where you stay. We stayed there for 3 nights and didn't eat out once, we never wanted to leave the place!! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking supplies you need and there's a nice BBQ outside that we cooked with every night, the view at sunset just couldn't be beat. The place was completely furnished with a huge 46inch flat screen tv, plenty of good movies to watch, two comfortable beds, plenty of towels, an outdoor hot tub to drink wine and watch the sunset, and a huge custom wine cooler that we used to keep all of our wine cool. The place is very romantic, and surrounded by grape vines that run all the way up to the property. Every morning we woke up and saw the hot air balloons flying right above us, they have a coffee maker there that we used to make coffee and enjoyed it in their private garden. When you go wine tasting be sure to use their personal limo. It's cheaper than all the other limo services offered, yes we did check, and is fully stocked with complementary champagne, liquor, and other beverages. Our limo driver was Joe, he's actually the father of the people who own the property, and we honestly can't say enough about him. It was his first time driving the limo but he was extremely professional and at the same time a real friendly guy who we enjoyed talking to during our wine tasting experience. Overall, this was the best vacation I've ever had. My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience and are already planning our next trip up.

  I just took my two daughters, ages 10 and 11, to Tuscamedi and we had such a delightful time! We only stayed one night, but we made every minute count. First of all, we drove up early and had lunch at the Bounty Hunter (after which, both of my daughters asked if we could go back the next day...and we did). Once we arrived at the house, we played hide-and-seek literally for HOURS! As they danced in the garden (we brought some small portable speakers for our iPod), I made cookies on a stick for us to decorate later. Watching them twirl in the garden with their long hair flowing around them in the late afternoon sun...giggling...well, they looked like angels and it is a memory I will cherish always... We decorated the cookies on the balcony in the setting sun and then we spent a very long time in the hot tub as the lights twinkled around us. Came in for a fire and hot chocolate (yes, before dinner :-) Made dinner in the fine kitchen and then watched some TV before bed (nice TV!). My one daughter had a bit of trouble falling asleep...because she couldn't stop looking at the lovely view of the city lights! She's her mother's daughter. :-) We had a great breakfast in the morning and after playing in the garden some more (a lot more!), we sadly left. By the way, we felt perfectly safe, too - the location is gated! A great place where my girls were entertained and entertained themselves. And I have memories that will stay in my heart. What a gift...

  WARNING: We're going to leave such a glowing review, you'll think we're relatives...but I promise we're not! :-) I've lived in California my entire life and grew up looking at the views up and down the Peninsula & across to the East Bay, so you'd think I'd be used to nice views. Well, I have to say that what we saw every day was just breathtaking. My boyfriend (who lives in Pennsylvania) and I arrived very late in the evening so the first thing we noticed was the gorgeous view of the twinkling city lights. In fact, later that night I woke up in the middle of the night & sat alone on the couch, just looking out at the lights... As we surveyed the house, we were beyond impressed with the attention to detail inside the house. It truly is like a Tuscan villa with beautiful woodwork & walls & literally walls of windows! I imagine that staying in the summer must be heaven, with those huge double doors open in the living room & the bedroom. Oh my! I even fell in love with the enormous wood wine storage piece. SO beautiful. The hallway leading to the rooms has lots of light from the windows. I must add here that for all of the windows, the place is supremely private - there is no one to look in at you as it's at the top of the hill. The bathroom has a really nice surprise that I will leave as such. :-) The kitchen is clean & bright & they have tons of cooking items. The bedroom has a fabulous closet of which I am very jealous! The room itself is large but feels even more so because of the vaulted ceiling and - picture this - three skylights that allow you to see the stars perfectly clearly (they even open!!). We were there on a full moon and you could still see the stars. But I'll tell you, looking out the huge doors (same kind as in the living room), with the moon lighting up the area...oh, it was just so lovely and romantic. The landscaping was just beautiful & I kept taking pictures so I could remember what I wanted to plant in my own yard! Although we were there for a romantic getaway, I could see how it would be a great place to entertain a few friends or family members. Tons of outdoor space with a lot of character. The picture of the hot tub looks bare, but the plants have filled in along the border fence. And the vineyards surrounding the property make this place...just...well...NAPA. The owners were darling & kind at every turn & they care about their guests' experience. We were very impressed by that. There is no doubt we will come back to Tuscamedi...

  We absolutely loved this home for our stay in Napa! The views are amazing, the beds are comfy, and the home has great amenities!! The drive into town is really only about 7 minutes and well worth the privacy and views! We shared the home with another couple and it was perfect! Leave your worries behind and come to paradise!

  We had a girls' weekend over Memorial Day and stayed in this great house! It was easy to get to Hwy 29 and it was wonderful to wake up to this view every morning! It was spotless and kitchen was well equipped with utensils for cooking. Needless to say, we didn't have to bring our own corkscrew :) The owner was very helpful from the beginning. It was too cold to truly enjoy the terraces for very long but it was a beautiful place to relax.

  We just spent a couple of nights at the property. The house was comfortable for a family of four and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time in the beautiful garden, sitting on the terraces and enjoying the amazing views of the vineyards and country. Our children spent endless hours playing in the enchanting garden. We had a relaxing and memorable time at this special property. Highly recommend.

  The pictures do not do it justice! The views are amazing and the house is cozy and comfortable. We stayed here last weekend with another couple and had plenty of space. The house is very private and quiet. Downtown is a 15 min drive or cab ride - we easily got cabs both nights to go into town but call early as it will be a 45 min wait. The hot tub is a nice bonus after a day of wine tasting! We would love to stay here again!

  This charming "mini villa" was more than we hoped for. I looked at the pictures online and they are great but dont do the property justice. The grounds are immacualte, the hot tub is large and nicely placed over looking the valley. The sunset was to die for. We used the outdoor area a lot to play cards and we even barbecued. I would love to have stayed for a couple weeks. My brother and hisgirlfriend live in napa and they said when they stayed with us the last night it was like being on vacation. I could not have been happier with the experience and I hope that when we travel to Napa again the house will be available. The house was very nicely furnished and was sooooo comofrtable and warm. It reminded me of being in some romantic movie. There was nothing that I can say about the stay that wasnt borderline "magical".

  This house was an absolute find. We stayed for a week and would have been happy to be there a month! The pictures here are fine, but they don't begin to do this vacation home justice. The house is very very clean and looks to be recently renovated, but it has old world vineyard charm. It exudes coziness. The interior is well appointed with very comfortable furniture and beds. Great fireplace for cool Napa nights. The views from every room are amazing. Who ever situated this house on the lot and laid out the floor plan made no mistakes. We woke up the first morning in our hill top retreat, and watched the sun rise come over the mountain, and slowly burn off the blanket of fog that covered the Napa floor below us. The grounds are immaculate with terrific exterior living space and panoramic views of down town Napa and the vineyards. Vineyards slope up to the edge up the property line. This house is exquisite; Quiet, romantic, secluded yet close to everything in Napa. You won't be disappointed.

  We recently spent 3 nights in the house. The location of the home and the views were amazing! The beds were very comfortable and the home was well furnished. I felt the washer/dryer location in the shed was a little scary with all the spiders/webs etc and wish that area was more "finished". Easy commute into the town of Napa. I would recommend this property to friends.

  You cannot beat the views from this lovely home. Whether you are watching a sun rise from the cozy master suite, a sunset from the perfectly situated hot tub, or grilling with friends and taking it all in from the expansive deck, you will feel like you've landed in your own slice of heaven. Trust me, it's hard to leave. When you do you will find yourself conveniently located near downtown Napa, wineries, famous eateries, and if you want to get outside - top notch hiking and biking trails. Go, now. You won't be disappointed.
