This unique house is located in Berryessa Highlands - approximately 40 minutes from Napa. It has two stories with two bedrooms and two full baths. The property is a little under ¼ acre with a large, level front lawn and lake views from the deck, bedrooms and front yard.
Downstairs has the living and dining room. The table sits 6 and there is also counter seating. There is a TV, DVD with DirecTV (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax included), CD Stereo and phone. Cell phones normally work here also. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, electric stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, blender and plenty of dishes, glasses (including wine glasses), utensils and pots and pans. We’ve tried to stock a large variety of spices as well as your standard cooking staples. We also supply the coffee and sugar - but you will need to bring half and half. For those who prefer dining out, there are a nice variety of restaurants within a few miles.
Upstairs are the bedrooms. The master has a king size bed and access to the balcony with wonderful views of the lake and a hammock to relax while you enjoy the view. The other has a full size bed. (The couch downstairs will fold out to accommodate a small child). We supply the bed linens for the upstairs. In between the bedrooms is a large bathroom with a double sink and shower/bath enclosure. We also supply the bath towels for up to four people.
The second bath is located downstairs and has a shower stall. There is a washer and dryer (laundry detergent is included.) The house has central heating and air conditioning.
The front lawn is very large and can easily accommodate a tent for the children. We supply a large dome tent, if you like, for no additional charge. Just give us notice so we can set it up. There is plenty of parking for your vehicle and boat.
All you need bring is your clothes and personal items plus food. We suggest you shop before coming up to the lake as there are only small stores nearby with limited groceries. A propane BBQ (propane supplied) is available for your use.
Steele Park Resort is two minutes from the house and is the perfect place to launch your boat on the lake. It has slips available for overnight, just inquire at the marina. There is a ski school, jet-ski rental and shoreline for swimming. Lake Berryessa has 165 miles of shoreline and is one of the largest lakes in California. If you love to wakeboard/ski/tube - this is the lake to visit!
The Napa and Sonoma Valleys are a beautiful 40-60 minute drive away. You will find an abundance of wineries, restaurants, shopping and events available practically year round. Boat all day - wine and dine in the evening....a perfect California vacation! |
