Well located .Shuttle stop is only a couple minutes from front door.Worked well for our family .Had a good meal at Blue River Bistro. Need Snow ! We took sleigh ride/dinner which was enjoyable. Just got back from an amazing girls weekend in Breckenridge at this beautiful home - even better in person than in the pictures! This was our first trip to Breck and we were very happy with the location of this property - we used the free bus to get to the slopes in Breckenridge and Keystone and at night it was only a short walk to many quaint shops and nice restaurants/bars. We did not have any problems getting around without a car. The house itself was very clean and the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. Wish we had more time to spend around the home, but we did manage to take full advantage of the private hot tub on on the main deck! Great way to relax with a picturesque view of the mountains. Other great features included the saucers/sleds in the garage and the stereo with Ipod connection. The owners were easy to work with and quickly responded to all inquiries leading up to our stay. Seriously, I could not have asked for a better house to reunite with my girlfriends and celebrate a milestone birthday!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Why we liked this unit so much . . . _Great location: bus stop for the free town shuttle bus is 3 doors down and across the street. To drop off your own skiers, the main base is about a 1-minute drive. You can see the stop light at S. Main St.and Boreas Pass Rd. from the dining room window. So close to Breckenridge Brewery you could walk to it - we didn't because of the snow. Also very close to a nearby ice-skating rink. _The house: A beautiful view of the slopes. Next time we'll bring our binoculars to watch the skiers. Lots of windows & natural light. A well-supplied kitchen. Private hot tub on the deck just out the door from the dining room. Comfortable den with leather couches & a gas fireplace. Comfortable beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. A garage for your car. Sleds in the garage plus directions to the terrific sledding area at the nearby elementary school. Full size washer/dryer downstairs. _Very helpful and polite owners. A bulletin board in the kitchen with map of the town, instructions on the condo, and discount cards to the local supermarket which saved us significant dollars. House is clean and well-maintained, and accurately depicted in the photos and the listing. _We have rented various units in CO and UT through VRBO for the past 16 years. This unit was one of our all-time favorites. We will definitely try to rent it again on our next trip to Breckenridge.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Very clean condo. Just a few minute walk to Main Street. And if you are skiing you can catch the bus every 15-20 minutes just a few doors from the condo. Private hot tub is a great addition. Much nicer than having to walk to a shared complex hot tub. I will definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway.

We just returned from a weekend at this place and LOVED it!!! This home is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The views of the ski mountain are amazing - especially from the hot tub when the snow is falling - and the bus that runs close to the house got us up to the mountain in plenty of time for first chair the next morning and all that fresh POW!!!! It's sooo nice to be so close to town. That night we walked to dinner - Mi Casa, one of the BEST restaurants in Breck - and then went dancing, all within a few blocks of this place! Great vacation!!! Our stay was wonderful!! I will definitely recommend this place to other friends considering a stay in Breck! And I will definitely be back myself!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway.

We have been coming to Breckenidge from the uk for seven years. Always staying at this property, never once would we consider staying else where. We have taken friends and even my mother (age 87)who adores the house. This just proves this house to suitable for every type of family/party. Coming from the Uk we never hire a car so grocery shopping and getting around town is very easy.(with the shuttle only yards away from the house or even walking into town.) The views are magical any time of the year. The house is very well maintained and someone always on the end of the phone if we ever had a problem. I would highly recommend this property. Hope many other people have fabulous holidays like we have done. We certainly want to return again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, people with disabilities.

This home will meet all your expectations for a vacation get away. You can step outside and catch the shuttle to the ski resort. After a day of some of the best skiing you will ever have, take a quick walk downtown to some of the best resturants and quaint shops. You will never need to drive once you arrive. The views from this home are amazing as well. After your shopping and dinner you can sit on the spectacular deck sipping wine or some other beverage, having the snow fall and look at the slopes of Breckenridge. You will not be disappointed with this choice of vacation home. Enjoy have been there multiple times and plan on going back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

If you are thinking of staying in Breckenridge, give this property serious consideration. I couldn't recommend the house more; our family had a great stay here, with the house providing a stress free retreat after a tiring day on the slopes (which BTW are great.) It is a very clean, comfortable house in a quiet area within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants. There is easy access to the slopes via a very short walk to the ski shuttle bus-stop, then a quick ride to the slopes on one of the frequent buses. The previous place we stayed at was closer to the ski-lifts, but took longer and more effort to get to the snow. There are great views of the slopes from the house (especially enjoyed when sitting in the hot-tub after dark when the lights add a magical quality.) There is lots of space for everyone so you don't feel cramped in any way and all there was all the equipment we could want and more, all in good working order. No problem parking the car or stowing and drying all the skiing gear. P.S. Loved the quilts.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children.

Our group of three couples has been skiing Breck for over 20 years. We've stayed in houses, condos and townhomes all over the area. This house is absolutely our favorite! In fact, we like it so much we book a year in advance just so we can lock in our dates. The location is convenient, close enough to walk everywhere but far enough off the beaten track so it's serene. There's not a lot of traffic in the neighborhood; it's pretty laid back. The vistas of the ski area from almost every room are spectacular. We stay on Eastern Standard Time, so we're up early. Having coffee while watching the lights twinkle on the mountain is a real treat. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, which makes the house great for couples (or separate families). The layout of the main floor is roomy and comfy. The deck and hot tub are a big bonus; there's nothing like enjoying an apres ski libation while watching the groomers working on Peak 10. When it's time to ski you're just 56 steps from the bus stop (I counted). If you enjoy schlepping your skis around more power to you, but we love the proximity of the buses. It just makes things so easy. In fact, we've often remarked that this house spoils us because our ski days are so relaxed. Perhaps the best thing about this house is that it's well cared for and very clean. If there's ever a problem the owners have some good people who oversee things and the owners themselves see to it that any concerns are taken care of. The bottom line is that our group absolutely loves this house. We'd recommend it for couples or families. You won't be disappointed.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1994
About the owner: My wife and I were high school sweet hearts in Iowa. After graduating from college we both taught school for 2 years in California. However, after 2 years of teaching and coaching, I decided to enter the computer industry. I started as a computer programmer, but then moved into Product Marketing and International Sales. We lived in Minneapolis, Denver, London, and then moved to Boulder, CO in 1978. Recently we moved to Longmont, CO. We have 4 children and 8 grand children, and we are fortunate to have them all living within 20 miles of us. We love to travel. I had the opportunity to do business around the world as a sales executive, and now we like to travel the world for pleasure.
Why the Owner Chose Breckenridge Mountain Village:
We first vacationed in Breckenridge in 1973 and loved it. The setting is so beautiful and there is so much to do there in both the winter and the summer. And, it takes less than two hours drive to get there from our house. We can't think of a better weekend getaway for us and our family. We purchased the house new in 1994 and remodeled it in 2007. We have been renting it on VRBO since 1998. We get a lot of repeat business and have become friends with some of our repeat customers.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Of course in the winter we ski, ice skate, and go sledding on a nearby hill. In the summer we play tennis, hike, fish and bicycle. There are bike paths from Breckenridge to Keystone (15 miles), Copper Mountain (20 miles), and Vail (35 miles).
