Newly Renovated Three Bedroom Lakefront Chalet in prestigious Hideout Community; Set in a quiet cove of Roamingwood Lake. Motor Boats allowed but cove is no-wake zone. Beautiful views from Living Room, Kitchen, Loft and Finished Basement. Three levels of living so everyone can spread out.
Main level has Living Room with Brick hearth and gas logs, satellite television, DVD player and leather sofa; New kitchen has rustic cherry cabinets and is well equipped(with more than enough dishes, glasses, etc.) Full Bath and two Bedrooms with Queen Beds. Upper level has large bedroom with four single beds and loft area with futon sofa plus table and 4 chairs with beautiful view of lake.
Lower level is a beautifully finished walk-out basement with additional living area (including sofa bed), ping pong table, electronic dartboard, television, VCR, XBox plus many video games and Video library, large laundry room, full bath, and utility room.
Great fishing right from the dock or feel free to use our kayaks (two) and rowboat to find more great fishing spots throughout the lake. Complete use of Hideout amenities including pools, beach, golf, club house, Tiki bar overlooking lake, tennis courts, game room, baseball field, basketball courts. Fees apply for golf, mini golf and indoor tennis courts.
Several off-site restaurants very close by. If you can tear yourself away from the dock, there are so many other things to see and do. If you don't want to leave the dock just use the grill and eat at the dock. Later, build a fire and roast marshmallows.
Lake Wallenpaupack is ten minutes away. The historic town of Hawley is only fifteen minutes away. Both offer more fun things to do and places to eat. Nothing but positive feedback from renters for 3 years straight.

Winter ... $1500/week.
Minimum 3 nights off season $800.
Holidays may be higher (July 4th week $300 extra)

Great Relaxing Vacation Home

We went mid August and loved the home. The decks, upper level and dockside are great. It was so relaxing to stretch out in the chairs and enjoy the view. My daughter had a terrific time fishing off the deck and the guys loved the kayaks. The home was beautiful too - great kitchen and family room and plenty of space and very well kept. We also had some resident deer and ducks that visited almost daily, which we loved. The Hideout community was nice as well. The amenities/beach/pool were fun and my daughter really enjoyed. Overall we had a great vacation - even with a little rain :). The surrounding area was great too - went to Camelbeach one day and am looking forward to coming back to do the new outdoor activities they recently added. We loved the Pocono's and look forward to coming back. Thanks Jennifer for sharing your wonderful home!

Jennifer We had a great time as usual. Lucked out with the weather, only one day with off and on showers. Spent that day underground visiting the Lackawanna Coal mine. Spent time at Camelbeach, a day boating on Wallenpaupack, and go cart racing miniature golf, and paint ball shooting at the assault zone. The rest of the time was spent enjoying the surroundings The fishing was great, had two great days, that you only dream about. Saturday morning , the last day was the best, 4 largemouth bass in the 3 to 5 lb range. Largest was 23 inches. 3 large pickerel all over 24 inches, with many smaller pickerel, yellow perch, and several smallmouth bass.
