About this property

Oceanfront with private beach access on tranquil 5 acre setting. Open spaces, numerous flowers and shrubs. Creek with mature Douglas Fir and Cedars. Lots of wildlife and birds to be seen, such as deer, eagles, otter, harbour seals, killer whales, blue heron, etc. Beach is accessible by our private road makes for easy launching of your kayaks, canoes and paddle boards with area for storage near beach.
Two comfortable queen beds. Great view from every room.

Beautiful setting, lovely property

Relaxing setting with a lovely view of the neighbouring Gulf Islands. Thoughtfully well-equipped cottage with charming island-themed art accents. Low-key and comfortable, not fancy or luxurious, unless you find the large oceanfront hot tub luxurious. Quiet, peaceful.

The views and hot tub!

We had the most comfortable stay- truly relaxing! The views and private hot tub can’t be beat. Thank you so much Bill and Diane for letting us stay!

BC Ferries can be a nightmare

The only thing you need to know is that the ferry system is strained. We could only get off the island headed to Vancouver by having to go to Vancouver Island first and head back to the mainland. It ruined our day having to travel for six hours. We tried to book a reservation, but it was already filled. Everything else is what people have already written about the place. Bill is a great operator.

Serenity and beauty and comfort

Our anniversary trip to this beautiful cottage on the beach was precisely what we were hoping for. The cottage has beautiful picture windows from all of the rooms so you can enjoy the view of the water and the islands from almost anywhere. And it had a/c, which made all the difference since it was really warm when we visited. Bill was very thoughtful and responsive to all of my inquiries. Their hospitality was 5 stars. I don’t usually sleep well in new places, but I slept very soundly and comfortably; what a treat! Bill was kind enough to let us use his mooring buoy because we came in on our boat. And it is a perfect location to explore the neighboring islands. We will definitely go back again and explore on the island next time :) We highly recommend Logan’s Hideaway. Thank you to Bill and Diane for sharing their lovely cottage with us.
