We have been home a week and can't stop thinking about our wonderful stay at Palmetto Dunes. The condo overlooks the ocean and it is a breathtaking view. We loved just standing on the deck and soaking in the sun and the sounds of the ocean. Condo is a beautiful place to stay and we would highly recommend it. I agree with other reviewers in that we decided to hang out at the beach and pool, more than do anything else! Can't wait to go back!!

This condo is as good as,or better than, it looks in the pictures!! It is furnished beautifully, stocked well with salt, pepper, shampoo, full size soap and dishwashing liquid and dishwasher detergent, thick towels and lots of them, even toothpaste if you forget your own!! The view is incredible, unobstructed, overlooking the pool and the beach. One closet is filled with beach gear, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, etc. They have thought of everything to make your trip to the beach wonderful! I had my 80ish year old parents with me and they appreciated the walk-in shower in the 2nd bedroom. Very easy to work with Mark to make the reservation. Definitely recommend and hope to go back next year.

Fantastic condo that is perfect for families. Kiddie pool was perfect for our 2 & 4 year olds. Ocean floor was flat and smooth with small waves most days. We cancelled day trips to Savannah and Charleston just so we could stay by the pool and beach. You can hear the waves crash from the balcony. Ww also appreciated that towels, sheets, hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper and even bath soap were provided by owner. We will be back!

Really enjoyed our stay. The master bathroom tub though, needs some plumbing done as it does not drain properly. We would have preferred to have carpeting but that is probably just a personal preference. The location was great and it was decorated beautifully. We loved being there and would stay again.

We have been to Hilton Head many times, and felt this really was a lovely unit....very comfortable and pretty inside, and it fit our family perfectly. We especially thought the location was ideal. We hope to be able to rent the very same place next time we return!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful month in this condo in April/May. Could not have been happier with the accommodations and all the incidentals provided during our stay. This condo is beautifully decorated and makes you feel right at home from the minute you step in. This is our second time staying in this condo and we plan on returning again next year. The pictures clearly depict the actual condo. It was very clean and well-cared for. I would recommend this condo for anyone staying in Captain's Walk. Everything was handled very professionally and we left with a feeling of complete satisfaction with our stay.

Thank you for extending your home to us. We had a great time at HHI and the ocean views from your villa far surpassed our expectations. This is a very nice condo in a wonderful area of Hilton Head. The condo overlooked the pool and the beach. Beatiful view. When we were not on the beach or at the pool, we were on the balcony enjoying the view. My wife and I were both impressed with how quite the condo was. Never heard the TV or noise from the condos next door, only an occasional scooting of a chair on the balcony above. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at several places in Palmetto Dunes and even in Captain's walk. This property is by far the best!!! The owners have taken care of everything that you may seem to need to make your stay enjoyable. The place is very well done and it makes you feel at home. A wonderful place :-) great location, great ocean view, very nice neighborhood. Often, it is the small things that make the difference, and here, the small things are just great - well equipped kitchen, beach fun tools (small surfboards, frisbee, floating rings, and more) The beach right in front of the apartment (1-2 min walk) is awesome. The pool is great for children with a 3 ft area and a 1 ft separate baby pool right next to it. All in all probably the nicest place we have ever stayed at for a beach vacation in a holiday apartment. Also, the owner is very responsive to questions and prepared us with some great info around the area. Well recommended, definitely a great pick for a family vacation!

This was our first visit to Hilton Head (8/9-8/15/09) and we were so pleased with the beautifully decorated condo, wonderful views and location. It was nice having the condo fully supplied with paper products, soaps and the welcome basket. It was clean and well maintained. I can't think of a better location to stay and hope to return again.

Mark- we had the best time in HHI this summer (Aug 2-9). We have been to HHI 4 times now in the past 5 years and I think this is the best place we have stayed. Our family loved how close we were to the pool and beach. The boardwalk to the beach is the shortest i have ever seen anywhere! The condo was beautiful. i liked that the 2nd bedroom had two double beds. My three boys fit great. I loved that there was so much stuff there like paper towels, tp, soap, ect. The location of 444 Captains Walk was a plus too. Great place. Hope we get a chance to rent from you again. Thanks!

Our stay at 444 Captain's Walk was incredible!! Our group was in Hilton Head for a wedding, and the condo was central to all of our activities. We greatly enjoyed the pool and the beach! My husband I had the pleasure of staying in this condo over Labor Day. The unit was just as described and absolutely beautiful with quality furniture and updated kitchen and baths. This was our first family vacation to Hilton Head and now such a high standard has been set by our stay here. Everything was perfect. A fabulous condo, nice furnishings and the location is great. It would be hard to do any better anywhere else on the island. Having a pool and beach access so close was definitely a plus for kids. We have previously stayed at Captains Walk,Villamare,and Hampton Place, but Captains Walk 444 will be our first choice for any future visits to Hilton Head. Our stay at 444 Captain's Walk was fabulous! The pictures on the website don't do this gorgeous condo justice. It is beautifully decorated and the views were breathtaking. They also added some wonderful extra touches to include a welcome basket with a nice note. Beautifullly updated and amazing view. We enjoyed bike riding, playing tennis and walks on the beach. The heated pool and close proximity to the beach was a treat for our family. We hope to come back again.

This condo was so much better than the condo we stayed at last year. Very well decorated and maintained. It was wonderful to have tile floors throughout instead of carpeting. Much easier to clean up. If we go to Hilton Head next year, we will definitely rent this condo again.

444 Captain's Walk is true perfection! From the captivating ocean views, to the soft sheets with plenty of pillows, our brief visit was so enjoyable. Our second year in a row staying in Captains Walk. Great location, and a very nice unit - - while I've not seen every unit the four or five I have been in do not compare. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, much better than you expect from a rental. Hope to be back next year.

We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful condo. The view and location of the condo could not be better. The only negative I found was that the sheets on the master bed are worn. The bedding and bed are way to nice and comfortable to have worn sheets. Again, this is the only negative I could possibly find in this beautiful property. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We have recently ended a 5 week stay in 444 Captains Walk. The view to the poll and ocean is tremendous from living room and mstr bdr. The unit is in excellent condition and furnished most comfortably. We have rented many ocean front villa/condos and VRBO 13434 is our favorite, and we will return.
