Our lovely second home is tucked away at the end of a dead-end street, in the back; ensuring quiet, safety, and a cozy getaway feeling. There is a fenced backyard with a lawnchair to soak in the bright southwest sun and frequent blue skies. There is also a large garage; 2 fireplaces, 3 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4 max).
All the cooking utensils, dishes and silverware you'd ever need; plus a Jacuzzi bath in the master bedroom, which adjoins a spacious walk-in closet.
Centrally located, you are a 3 minute walk from downtown, and one right turn from Artist Road, which takes you to the incredible spa, 10,000 Waves, only 7 minutes away. Follow the same road up and you'll reach several National Park trails and camping areas. And at the very top of the mount (only 25 minutes away), is the Santa Fe ski resort, perfect for all levels of skier.
So you're close to the museums, art galleries, unique Southwestern jewelry and clothing stores and fine restaurants of downtown, as well as every kind of outdoor activity you can think of...from horseback riding, to wilderness hiking, ancient Indian ruins or reservations, ranches, and the outdoor Santa Fe opera house. For those who like a little wagering, there are 3-4 casinos within a half-hour drive.
The place is great, and the location is superb. You couldn't land in a better spot in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
