  We truly enjoyed our visit to gnats landing,one of the nicest homes in indian pass.If you like peace and quite this is the place to visit.The beach,the bald eagle,and GREAT seafood! Thanks Mindy and Danny

  We had a fabulous time in this truly beautiful Florida decorated home. The size of the home was perfect for our family, set of grandparents, and a couple of young cousins. Our most favorite part was we had the beach to ourselves to enjoy from the sand, ocean, indoor panoramic views, or our favorite spot, the screened in porch. The owners were helpful with answering any questions prior and during our stay. We are thankful they allowed us the opportunity to spend the week in this wonderful rental.

  The good: -The beach is very remote. If you are looking to be the only ones on the beach (with the exception of a few cars traveling the beach) than this is the rental for you! We enjoyed having the whole beach to ourselves. We did not see any other families out swimming. Occasionally a couple of people would walk the beach, but for the most part we had it to ourselves. -The house pictures accurately reflect the inside of the house. It has been recently updated, but still feels like an older house. -Internet service was great as well as the flat screen tv. -Owners were very easy to work with. -Has an outdoor shower which was great for washing off after the beach. The not so great: -The outdoor picture of the house does not accurately reflect the exterior of the house. The house is on stilts like most Florida homes. I did not realize this as the picture of the house doesn't show it. We had someone in our party that had very bad knees and had alot of trouble going up and down stairs. I would not recommend this rental for anyone who has trouble with stairs. There are three sets of stairs outside and one inside. The outdoor screen covered porch: we spent alot of our time on this porch, however it needs to be updated like the inside of the house. Minor repairs (hole in screen, screen door) were covered with painters tape. The cushions for the chairs were ripped and sagging. All of the deck inside and out could use a good coat of stain. Would be nice to have comfortable chairs on the porch since you do spend so much time out there. The outdoor area around the home needs to be cleaned and updated as well. Someone had had a oyster shucking off the balcony and there were oyster shells everywhere. Minor litter was also around the house. I know I'm being pernickity I just expect alot!. The "charcoal" grill is the type you find at a public park. The type that has been inserted into poured concrete. Would be nice to have a new propane grill to do cookouts on. FYI: cell phone coverage was only one bar. It was nice that we were able to access our emails through the owners internet service. That being said though, we did enjoy our stay. It was far from amenities as stated. We found that we do prefer to be a little nearer to amenities. If you want to be away from it all with the beach and waves to yourself this is the place for you!

  This is a great house.The decor was beautiful,very nice and clean.There were lots of little extra touches.The view is amazing!!This is a great place to relax and just enjoy the beach and family.

  we have been to gnat's landing 2 times now...and it has certainly become a home away from home. the decor is fabulous and is only unmatched by the fab beach views and incredible natural beach. our 4 girls {ages 2 to 15} love this house and although well decorated and very adult-like in many ways, the house is also very kid friendly. the owners are fabulous, easy to contact and very sweet. we love gnat's landing!!! it's def our fav beach vacation spot!
