Perfect alternative to staying in cramped hotel rooms in AC. Had a group of guys and everyone had plenty of space and a great time. The area is safe and close to both areas of casinos via cab. Would reccommend for any type of guys/girls getaways, etc. Property was clean.

Great Bachelor Party

We had a great experience staying for a Bachelor party! We slept 12 guys in the house with no problems at all. Plenty of beds, pull out couches, and air mattresses. Plenty of room outsied to hang out and grill out. No problems with the neighbors. Easy to get to clubs, casinos, and bars. Owner was great and easy to deal with. I got full refund back in a timely fashion. Would def stay again, and highly recommend the house!

We got our full deposit back within the time frame required. We had a large group of girls and the house worked out great for us. Plenty of sleeping areas. Living room had a large pull out couch to sleep 3 people and another single couch to sleep another person. There was also a large floor area to put down cushions or bring an aero bed. One block to the boardwalk/water that you could walk to a lighthouse. Close enough to take the jitney bus, but you can also take a cab for about $4 per person. We used a Van service. I would recommend this house....

A group of friends and I rented this beach house for New Years 2012. Our stay was from Friday to Sunday. The price was fair, the accomodations were better than expected, and most importantly the house was clean. The expectations of us, as renters, were very clear - and we were all satisfied with the weekend. We would definitely rent again as well as recommend this house to others.

The house is more spacious than the pictures show. the living room is large enough to accommodate any group gathering or party with comfort. When we arrived the house was extremely clean and much nicer than i had expected. there is a couch and chair in the living room, both of which pull out into beds so you can comfortable sleep even more people than advertised in the listing. There aren't hundreds of DVDs but there is a good selection, however some of the DVDs were missing from the boxes when we arrived but that was not even an issue because its Atlantic City and theres way too much to do to be watching movies. Overall the house was amazing, again, everything was very clean and spacious, I don't know what a lot of the people on here were complaining about because Tarron was very nice and helpful throughout the renting process which was a big plus because this is the first time i've ever rented a house like this. 5/5 Stars for this house, i will definitely be returning in the summer due to its close proximity to the boardwalk and casinos / clubs.

It was my first time renting a house for a group of girls, staying overnight (10/29/2011). We had no issues at all and the house was very nice, lots of room for all of my friends. I will definitely rent the house again in the future, now that I know the location, very convenient to go to Casinos. Thanks Tarron!

Great Time in AC

We recently went down to Atlantic City for my husband's 50th birthday - we have stayed at this house before and on both trips everything was great - Tarron was great to work with and went out of the way to help us out. The house is nicely furnished and has plenty of room for 7-8 people. I didn't realize just how close we were to the Aquarium and restaurants in the area - we walked over and did some activities there and spent some time in the casinos of course. I rent with VRBO at least 2-3 times a year and this is one of my favorite places to go - I will probably go back in Dec.

This was my 2nd time staying in the house with my friends and the house was everything we needed and more. We had multiple people coming from different locations and there were plenty of parking spots on the street. Also, the house's location is great, its far enough from the lower-income areas of Atlantic City but close enough where you are just a 5-minute drive/cab ride to the casinos. The actual interior of the house was great as well. There is plenty of sleeping space if you are a large party as in addition to the 3-bedrooms, there's also an extra mattress, a futon and a couch. The large TV in the living room was a plus as well for me and my guests. Overall, a great experience, exactly what we were looking for and plan on coming back again next summer!

Our stay was from 07/31/11 - 08/07/11. A total of 6 people plus my dog stayed at the home. The home was clean and in good condition when we arrived. I feel there was ample sleeping and furniture in the home for all of us! After we arrived the WiFi stopped working and the owner attempted to reslove it to no avail, and this was only an inconveinence as we had to tether our laptop to the modem. The satelite also did not work in the master, but there was too much to do to just sit and watch TV. There was not 100's of movies, but a small selection and a few DVDs of the best show EVER (Boston Legal). The owner was prefessional and relatively easy to reach, but sometimes e-mails were left unreplied and phone messages went unreturned. I recommend be persistant and keep calling him to get in touch. Not all of the security was returned. I feel the deduction was reasonable, but be prepared not to get your whole security. It took all of the 30 days for it to be returned, but a hurricane (Irene) caused the delay. The location was great, quiet and we too felt safe. Short walk to jitney bus stop, pool and beach! Only 4 passes to the pool, but everyone can go to the beach - it's a shorter walk! I would recomend this property! Again, overall a great property with a few downfalls. On another note, I really enjoyed dinner at the Chart House by the Golden Nugget. Great swordfish, and the best key lime pie I ever had! It's an upper scale resturant, so be prepared to pay a pretty penny.

Deposit not returned

This house was in a good location but when it comes time to getting deposit back, there was multiple excuses. First did not have money and needed to wait for pay day, next was there was some damage to the back of the chair in the kitchen. So believe the reviews about your deposit and charges. There was no hot water on the first night and 3 other times of our stay, had to rest the hotwater heater several times...oh that was written in previos reviews!! The house was just ok clean upon arrival, we cleaned when we left but the vacumm was clogged solid ...so we took it apart and fixed it and cleaned the stairs off that had lots of dust on them(carpet) they must of just swept off the stairs without touching the edges for months. there were several stains on the rugs upstairs in the back bedroom, there was not t-paper, no trash bags and no dishsoap. I have stayed in several vacation houses from this website for years and by far this was the worse one yet. Also the beach next to the house is a no swim beach, and this town has segreated beaches believe it or not. refridgerator door doesnt stay closed unless slammed, it needs to be leveled. Owner lost the swimming pool pass...how convieniant! No pot holders! plenty of plates but need more dishes to cook with. shades are falling apart and need replacement. no off street parking and no gargae

I rented this house for a small reunion. 6 of us stayed and had a very nice time. We decided to rent a house because the hotels are overpriced and kind of sleazy. The location is right near a Jitney Stop, which is 24-hour public transportation to and from the boardwalk and all the different casinos. The house is in one of the few very nice neighborhoods in town - don't let the drive in fool you, most of Atlantic City is a dump. There is plenty of parking on the street and is close to the beach.

The location was decent enough for Atlantic City and the furnishings were adequate. We did not receive ANY of our deposit back although our "arrival" and "departure" photos of the condition of the house show that was far from the case. We were told an electrician would arrive on Tuesday to fix the fixtures in the kitchen however no one came. We will NEVER rent directly from an owner again and will go through agencies in the future.

This house was in a safe location/neighborhood, which is probably the best thing I can say about it. It was good enough for the guys that spent the 2 nights there. It had sparse, basic furnishings. That were either dirty or just old/run down. The propane tank was empty upon arrival, so we can to go out and get it filled. Finally, be prepared for additional charges/fees: If you're having a larger group, you'll pay more for cleaning (it's hard to image how it can take more than 2 hours to clean the place). We were also charged a "Reset Fee,” which was not mentioned in the Agreement (I still have no idea what this was for). Finally, if you get your security deposit refunded through PayPal, but aware, you'll pay a fee for that too. We'll probably not rent this way again, due to this experience.

A group of friends and myself rented the house for a birthday celebration over one weekend in April and when we arrived everything was perfect. The house was clean and had plenty of room for everyone. We all felt safe and comfortable. The only downside was we ran out of hot water on Saturday night. Apparently if it gets windy in AC the pilot light in the hot water heater can go out. I called the owner and left a voicemail but when he called back we had already left to make our dinner reservations downtown and I missed his call. He did call back a few more times in the morning but at 6:30-7:30 am, we were all asleep. It was unfortunate timing when the hot water ran out/stopped working but it was certainly no one's fault. We did reach the owner before we left but at that point, there was nothing anyone could do. It stinks that we didn't have hot water for our last night out, but everyone still enjoyed themselves thoroughly and if I'm ever back in Atlantic City, I would definitely rent from Mr. Weir again. His house is gorgeous and I just have to say that his sleeper sofa downstairs has a surprisingly large and super comfortable mattress. Also, having all of the plasma televisions was a huge hit with the men!

I rented this house for my 30th birthday girls weekend. There were 6 of us that stayed and we all fit with room to spare. Everything was clean and neat. Having 2 full bathrooms and the bathroom downstairs was a huge plus, even though we ran out of hot water. Another reviewer had an issue with the tv, which was a little tricky, but we got it working fine. Had issues with the wi-fi, but Tarron was able to help get us online. The block was quiet and we felt safe. Also, the jitney was right down the block, which made it easy to get to the majority of the shops and casinos. All in all, we would definitely rent this house again!

We stayed here for a college reunion type getaway. For us, this property was very good because it allowed us to relax in between visiting casinos. We also thought that the property showed better than the pictures suggested. The large family room allowed us all to comfortably interact. We were also able to comfortably sleep our entire group.

Just loved it! The house was very comfortable and most importantly, there was privacy. We all felt safe. A short walk to the pool wasnt too bad and the distance to the stores, shops, casinos and outlets wasnt bad at all. The only problem was our time was too short. Next time we'll stay longer. There is a lot to do.

Arrived after check-in time. Beds slpet in, toilets with feces and hair on it, carpet filthy, wet towels on beds and floor. When we complained, sent cleaning crew but couldn't use for two hours and had to leave property. TV in living hard to operate. Showers and tub not cleaned. Then owner charged us for extra cleaning in refund of security deposit because we complained. Not on the ocean, only ocean block!!!

Owner response:We have rented our property for over 4 years and never had a problem with our cleaning service. Unfortunately the cleaning team had a scheduling conflict. We sent a cleaning team to the property promptly to resolve the issue. We apologized to the guest for the delay. We only charged the customer for 1 hour exit cleaning to make up for this oversight and discounted the rate toward their deposit. Our property is directly across from the boardwalk with a great view of the Ocean. All properties are separated from the beach by the boardwalk. Our property has 5 Plasma TV's and all work perfectly. The issue the guest is referring to is the TV guide feature of the 50 inch plasma in the living room. You simply need to press the exit button to access the cable features. We have posted instruction to help our guest through this. The four other TV's don't have that feature. Our property has direct TV and Cable for our customers. Lastly the property has all new luxury furnishings custom amenities which other rentals do not offer. This can be confirmed by other reviews on our site. Again we are very sorry about the user experience but did everything possible to make it up to them.
