Oceanside of Pacific Coast Highway. Many advertise walk to beach but this is really only steps to famous Strand and Salt Creek Beach. Excellent for swimming, surfing and long walks along the shore.

Do you want to stay at a nice place or a really nice place, this is a really nice place. This upper unit offers lots of light, privacy and views. It is located on the outer perimeter of the complex so you won't feel closed in and you get a wonderful ocean cross breeze. You will wake up with the feeling you are at the beach. One master suite with california king, extra long twin daybed, two full baths, ceiling fans, hardwood and tile floors throughout, granite counters, all new sliding glass doors and windows, two outside decks with seating, gas bbq and inside laundry. Heated pool and spa.

Famous Laguna Beach Summer Art Festival is just 10 minutes to the north, Disneyland 40 minutes, Sea World and San Diego Zoo 1 hour to the south. Walk to Dana Point Harbor offering boat rentals, fishing, Marine Institute, Catalina Island boat trips and more. John Wayne/ Santa Ana airport is within 30 minutes and LAX 60-80 minutes.

Fine or casual dining, shopping and nightly entertainment are all close by. Coffee houses, market, bank and post office are all within a 15 minute walk to downtown. There are endless activities or just come to unwind and watch the sun set in the west.

    We just completed our third stay at this unit and must confess it gets harder and harder to leave and return home. The close proximity to beautiful beaches, good restaurants and laid-back coastal communities to explore, make this condo a great place to unwind.   • We felt very comfortable here, the condo was clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped. The complex looks well kept and the location is convenient - not only to the beach but also for day trips. We tried out the recommended restaurants (note on the fridge), the food was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to any couple or small family.

    We were very familiar with the area, but had never really visited "The Strand" beach area before and this condo complex in particular. It's a beautiful area, very quiet - and the best beach in the area for kids and adults alike. Close to everything but quiet and relaxing. Owner is very responsive, and everything you need for a vacation is right there for you. It's like your own condo you really have to just bring yourself and clothes - the owner has thought of everything.

  • Coleen's coastal condo surpassed our expectations. We normally stay at the Marriott's Newport Coast timeshares but felt they were a tad bit too expensive this year so we took a chance on this condo and we are so glad we did. We plan on coming back here next year. It was clean, and very charming. A real beach vacation as you can walk to the beach or drive to several others that are close by. Salt Creek beach was one of our favorites. The condo had everything we needed and was located in a very quiet community. The pool was fabulous and not at all crowded. There are great walking paths all around. Plenty of places close by to shop and eat. Did I mention the ocean view...Miss it so much already!

  • This was a great place to vacation! The condo was very nice, clean, well equipped, and nicely decorated. Dana Point is beautiful and convenient. The beach was our favorite part of the trip. The pool and hot tubs were very nice. The complex is well kept. The transaction was very smooth and the communication with the owner very prompt. We would recommend this rental to anyone. We brought our teenage daughter and it was comfortable for all of us. We would like to return. Nice, nice, nice...

  • We had a wonderful stay in this comfortable, relaxing, clean, well-equipped condo! The owner was extremely prompt in responses to emails when we were setting up the trip and as previous guests have commented, the description of the condo/local area is accurate. The beach is only a short walk away and the walk down to Dana Pt Harbor is beautiful. This is a great area to visit with lots of beaches nearby as well as a lot of other attractions (Sea World, Disneyland, Legoland etc..). We had a great time on our visit with our 1-yr old and would love to come back again!

  • We very much enjoyed our stay at the condo. The location was excellent; really only a short walk to the beach and a walking distance to Dana Point Harbor. The condo was tastefully furnished and very well-equipped. There was everything we could wish for. As there was just the two of us, we had plenty of room and particularly enjoyed having two full baths. It was a great bonus to have all our e-mails answered promptly when organizing our trip. We'd love to be back one day!

  • We have been staying in the Dana Point area five or six times per year for the past seven years and have stayed multiple times in the Niguel Beach Terrace complex. This most recent visit was our first stay in this particular condo and it has now become our first choice. The unit is very comfortable and nicely decorated and has the “feel” of a New England cottage (we are from the Boston area). The owner is very easy to work with and really cares about her condo. We hope to be able to rent it again in the future.
