Swimming is a favorite pastime as well as fishing. Anglers enjoy catching Sunnies, Crappies, Northern and Bass. The owners have built, maintained and used this cabin since 1955; adding a bedroom and bathroom with laundry facilities in 1999. They have now retired, live down the shoreline on Kego Lake and wish to share this piece of heaven with people who can appreciate it's uniqueness. There is only 15 feet of land between the lake and cabin and there are 8 acres of woods to explore before leaving the property with access to County maintained Hiking Trails.
This is a housekeeping cabin with a Kirby vacuum cleaner for your use. Recycling is encouraged for ecological and safety reasons.

Homeowner Response:
It is fun watching the kids running, swimming, swinging, fishing, laughing, investigating nature and just having fun without TV & Computers. It's amazing to see how imaginative kids and their parents can be and how satisfying it is spending time together.

It's wonderful to be here, there are such little places like it. We thank you for the opportunity!!! I've never seen anything like Kego or the cabin on the shore. I hope to come again and spend some wonderful time. All the best,

What a pleasure it is to reacquaint myself with Kego. The peacefullness of Kego always stays with me as I think about the weeks ahead. A weekend here renews the spirit and gives me a sense of what's important in life. A weekend at Kego provides a fresh perspective and a glimpse of a more peaceful reality. Thanks for everything.

We are not alone here. I hear the quiet laughter of the good times shared among friends over the years. We need the tonic of the wilderness and here I have experienced quality. This has truely been a joyous time.

Great place, very relaxing. The quiet and peaceful calm on Saturday evening with the loons singing was just beautiful. Couldn't believe how close we got to the loons with the canoe. Thanx for asking us up.
