Our villa is the closest and most private villa in the Tennis Club Area to the beach with the best lagoon view. There is nothing for quite a distance on the left side of us and a short distance on the right side of our single building of only four units, is the pretty footbridge over the big lagoon. All you do to get to the beach is walk over the bridge and you'll see the walkway to the beach and it is less than a five minute walk. You can't get much better than that!
The exposure is great! We have the best lagoon view. You look all the way up the lagoon from the dining room, living room, screened porch and master bedroom. It is always cheerful and light. We're right on the water and you watch the alligators sun on the bank and swim by and the beautiful birds and lots of greenery.
Beautifully updated kitchen, porcelain floors, granite counters, stainless steel GE appliances! All new mattresses in the lovely light bedrooms- Vaulted ceiling in the master.
This first floor unit has no huge stairs to climb so you don't have to carry your luggage and groceries up a load of stairs like so many villas! It is beautifully decorated in pastels, all newly updated and re-upholstered. It has been recently carpeted and painted. We have our own housekeeper who keeps it immaculate. We limit it to four people with a very few exceptions, and that is how we keep our place in such good condition, and our housekeeper happy.
There is grass cloth in the living room and halls, and beautiful wallpaper in the kitchen and baths. The master bedroom includes a dressing room, two sinks and a bath, and a queen bed, and beautiful furniture. It also has two chairs and a table. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a bath, and a sitting area with two chairs and a table. Very bright and sunny! The porch has a lovely Brown Jordan table and chair set. The kitchen is fully equipped and was beautifully renovated There is beautiful front loading washer and dryer in the laundry room. There is a flat screen tv in the master bedroom.
Both bedrooms have radios, and the living room has cable TV, VCR, DVD and a CD-tape player that we ask not to be brought to the beach. It is very beautiful with all brand new GE clean steel appliances, lovely new porcelain floors and gorgeous new granite counter tops. First floor unit- no long stairs to climb!
Best Lagoon View, Most Private Setting, Non-Smoking, Best Tennis Club area there is! The Beach (five minutes or less). Own Private Housekeeper. Immaculate. Ceiling Fan, Wet Bar, VCR, DVD, Built -in Microwave, Cable TV. East Beach location, which is newer than West Beach. It is also closer to Vanderhorst Plantation where the magnificent homes are and it is an easier bike ride to see them. Close to all amenities. Fabulous new inn, The Sanctuary, only a hop, skip and a jump away! The Living Room leads to a screened porch with a lovely Brown Jordan set of table and four chairs. New ceiling fan installed on the porch. Stunning dining area with large comfortable wicker chairs overlooking lagoon with door to the fully screened porch also with a grand view up the lagoon.
There are five golf courses, pools, and two tennis complexes. Over twenty miles of Bike/Roller Blade Paths, Ten Mile Long Beach, Beautiful Maritime Forest. Biking, swimming, tennis, golfing, canoeing, fishing, gourmet dining both on and off the island, sight seeing on Kiawah and in Historic Charleston. We are very close to new Sanctuary. We have an extraordinary setting!Everything in the villa is immaculate and in top notch shape and beautifully decorated.

My family spent our Spring Break in this beautiful Villa. It was such a "joy" to walk into this villa, see the wonderful accommodations and most of all, the beautiful view of the lagoon. It was lovely to wake up in the morning, make our coffee, sit on the screened in porch and soak in nature. A special thank you to Joy, who was fantastic to work with and is clearly, a lovely woman. Thank you! Spent a wonderful 4 nights at the Villa :) Went to South Carolina to visit our son who is in the Navy attending Power School. Joy was super to work with and was very kind to break up the week to accommodate us in our short stay. The place was very clean and comfy which is just what we wanted for our son, he just loved the couch !! Didn't want for anything, the place is well stocked with everything you need except food! Even with the humidity outside we spent lots of time out on the screened porch just looking at the lagoon and caught the gator floating by, great pic's! Short walk to the beach, beautiful and you can hear the waves from the villa :) Wish we could have stayed longer, next time. There is so much history in SC that we needed way more time to get it all in. Our time there was well spent with our son and got to see some cool stuff while we were there with him. Our special thanks to Joy for our stay! Hope to be back next year with more time and our golf clubs too! Beautiful courses so bring your clubs! The Condo is in a very quiet location overlooking the lagoon. The screened-in porch was wonderful for breakfast and lunch, or just relaxing. The kitchen has new appliances and Joy has decorated the Villa very tastefully and comfortably. It's a short walk to the beach and there are bike trails everywhere. Joy is a most gracious hostess and great to work with. We loved it!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We had a great time on Kiawah....a beautiful beach and an easy drive to Charleston. This condo was very clean,well-maintained, had a beautiful view of the lagoon, and an easy short walk to the beach. We just returned from our stay and it was fantastic. This villa is a great location easy walking to beach, sanctuary, and town center among other things. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer because we were only vacationing for a 3 day weekend. Our party consisted of 2 couples and 1 two year old child. This villa was a perfect size and is very nicely kept. Lagoon view is fabulous as we enjoyed every morning and evening on the screened in porch overlooking the lagoon. The beach at Kiawah is a perfect place for young children because it is not over-crowded like many other beaches and our 2 year old was able to run wild and not distract any other beach vacationers and we didn't have to fear for his safety among strangers. We would definitely recommend this villa and Kiawah Island to others and plan on making future stops back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This is the place to stay on Kiawah! This was our second time to Kiawah, and we absolutely loved this place! The villa was set up wonderfully with lots of separation between the two bedrooms, each with its own bath. It was very clean, quiet and wonderfully situated - close to everything! From the villa, it is a quick ride to the beach, Night Heron Park, The Sanctuary and tennis courts! We rode all around the island, walked and ran on the beach, played tennis (discovered it was free after 6:00) and enjoyed all the Easter festivities at Night Heron Park. We so enjoyed the screened porch and seeing all the wildlife! The owner was really easy to work and very thoughtful - checked in on us and made sure the home was set up as a true "home-away-from home." We will definitely be back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

My family and I have vacationed on Kiawah for a number of years. This villa ranks as the overall "best" for a number of reasons. The accomadations are great. Great setting, view,etc. The villa is equipped with everything you need to make you feel at home. It's a short walk to the beach and generally convenient to everything on the island. We were so impressed we are returning this summer and can't wait.Recommended for: Families with young children.

We spent a week during July in this Villa and really enjoyed it. It had all the amenities you would expect and was in a more secluded part of the Kiawah resorts. The appliances were quite new, the beds were comfortable and there was plently of space. Access to the market, beach, pool and park was convenient and the surrounding environment was beautiful.The owners are very personable and accommidating. We wouldn't hestitate to stay there again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

I stayed here with my husband and our toddler daughter, and we really enjoyed our visit. The view of the lagoon is spectacular! We saw so much wildlife just from the living room window. The walk to the beach is lovely as well. A great way to enjoy Kiawah!Recommended for: Families with young children.

My friend and I stayed the week before Easter at this very nice Tennis Club Villa and found it most suitable for our needs. The magnificent views of the lagoon from the Villa are lovely and so peaceful. This Villa is very clean, well-provisioned, and the beds are comfortable. We were pleased with the location, which is near The Sanctuary Hotel, and within a short, pleasanrt walk to the Beach. We also loved Freshfields Village and its nice restaurants and boutiques. The owners were exceptionally helpful and gracious, a real plus. I would highly recommend this Villa..Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
