When is the last time you spent the night at a true 5 star hotel? Well at our Matterhorn Mountain House we are proud to provide our guest with many of the attributes that are only found when staying at the most luxurious hotels.
Sleep like a King or Queen with your bedding complete with featherbed and a duvet, which is covered with 500 count Egyptian cotton. For those cold nights we have also provided the adult beds with sheepskin blankets. All 4 bedrooms have their own thick white spa towels. The closets have been customized to provide our guest with efficient wardrobes leaving the rooms uncluttered.
Digital cable TV with HD and DVR with a screen large enough for viewing by all twelve guests.
The loft is complete with a library of popular paperback novels, and a business center with WIFI.
This home is ideal for three families with a total of 6 children. Each child has their own reading light and the children room has cable TV.
We also provide our guest access to the many facilities within a mile of our Mountain Home. Skiing, swimming, spa facilties and a championship golf course to name a few.

We had a wonderful few weeks enjoying the serenity of the surrounding area. The house is well laid out and very comfortable. The back deck was perfect with a great patio set! We can't wait to return.

I highly recommend this vacation spot, we had the most wonder time once again. The home is perfect and the surroundings are a blast. We definitely will be back again next year.

Wow - this is definitely one of the most beautiful cabin I ever stayed at. The cabin is very close to the Tahoe Donner skiing area. It has a very nice kitchen and living room, and the bedrooms are really great! The master bedroom on the first floor has one of the most confy bed I have ever slept in, and the jacuzzi is just really nice to have. The other two queen size bedroom are very spacious, and the kids room is just perfect for the little ones! The garage is big, and there is a lot of space in front of the cabin for extra cars. The owner, Gabriele, has been just wonderful to deal with. I am definitely going back!
