Our townhome is located in Point Venture, Texas on Lake Travis, 20 miles northwest of Austin, in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country. Lake Travis is a beautiful lake with 44,000 acres of cool, clean and clear water. There is plenty of room for boating and water sports plus many coves where you can swim and relax.
Our townhome has been recently renovated and has two bedrooms and two full baths on two levels with a deck on both levels. We can sleep 9 comfortably with all the comforts of home. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and the other bedroom has two sets of bunk beds (1 with a full-sized bottom bunk). There is a full-sized sleeper sofa in the living room.
You can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake while relaxing on the decks. Deer roam freely in the early morning and evening hours. There is a gently sloping rock and grassy area leading to the lake.
The woodburning fireplace is a welcome attraction during the cold, winter months.
There are many activities to choose from right in the subdivision of Point Venture. The Point Venture nine hole golf course features a practice putting green, driving range, and pro shop. Other activities include an Olympic sized pool, six laykold tennis courts (four are lighted), and a 50 acre waterfront park (with two boat ramps). The Point Venture Marina provides full service such as a fuel dock, a store, and The Pier (a floating restaurant). There are watercraft rentals located across the lake and are easily accessible with the Water Taxi. The Pier and the Water Taxi only operate during the summer season.

We are both native Texans and have enjoyed vacationing on Lake Travis and the surrounding hill country area with our respective families since we were kids. We married 26 years ago and have continued these vacations with our 5 children and now our 2 grandsons. We have always loved this area and have spent many years camping, skiing, boating, swimming, and playing in the lake while dreaming of the day we could move here and enjoy the lake and the spectacular views every day of our lives.
We bought our townhouse in 1999, hoping to spend as much time here as possible and also to share our love of this area with others. Our dream of living on Lake Travis became a reality when we built our own home just a couple of miles away, right here in Point Venture. We couldn’t be happier!
We’ve worked hard to offer you a “home away from home” and hope you will enjoy it here as much as we do!

We chose to buy our vacation home in Point Venture mostly because of the beautiful, scenic views. The resort amenities were an added bonus. You'll find a Jr. Olympic pool, 9 hole golf course, tennis courts, park with playground and picnic areas, a floating restaurant, wildlife, and of course, Lake Travis!
