The Columbia Hideaway is a budget-priced luxury condo, right in the heart of Telluride's National Historic Landmark District in the middle of town. This is the lowest priced unit in our lodging group, and you'll receive very high value for dollar with this unique property, right in the center of town.
Larger than standard hotel rooms at 665+sqft for Columbia #1, has a full kitchen. The Columbia Unit is a great place to enjoy everything worth doing in Telluride. This modestly sized unit is beautifully furnished and equipped, entertainment center, surround sound system, and many other amenities -- everything you need for an unforgettable mountain getaway right in town in Telluride. Shopping, restaurants, outdoor outfitters, bike shops, ski shops, live theatre, movies -- just out your door. Great fun to be right in town for a vacation here in Telluride.
The bedroom affords partial views of Telluride Peak and Ingram Falls. The living room offers partial views of Mt. Ballard, Telluride Valley and views of Bear Creek Canyon.
While you don't have the expansive views from inside the condo you'll thoroughly enjoy one of the very best locations in town, quiet and private, in a group of just 4 condos located in a former private home in town. Columbia Ave. , where the Hideaway is located, is just one block up from Colorado Ave., Telluride's 'Main Street.' And the Hideaway, an easily accessible first floor unit, is just across the street from the Miners' Union property , and near Telluride's Town Hall.
Priced well below our other properties, these modestly sized but wonderfully well-located luxury condos are the perfect place to get away from it all here in Telluride. And there are spectacular views everywhere you look from the moment you step out the door. As you may know, Telluride is ranked #1 for scenery among all U.S. mountain resorts. And the mountains pour dramatically right into town like no place else in the country.

Great location in town, but we had the unit that did not have a dishwasher, washer or dryer. Not a deal breaker considering the value, but I was looking for a place that had laundry facilities, and the way this was listed, we were expecting it. The owner told us the nearest laundrymat was in Montrose (we were headed that way anyway). Also, the floors creak, and we heard people in the upstairs unit all night.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

This property was perfect! It is located right in the middle of everything and is cute and cozy. The owner was quite gracious, giving us excellent insider information about happy hours, what to do, etc. Will definitely be staying her again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

About the owner: I PURCHASED THE COLUMBIA HIDEAWAY AND HIDEAWAY IN TELLURIDE SINCE THEY HAVE SUCH A FANTASTIC LOCATION...DIRECTLY IN THE CENTER OF TELLURIDE. THEY ARE LOCATED 1 BLOCK OFF OF MAIN STREET, YET ONLY 4 BLOCKS FROM THE GONDOLA AND SKI LIFTS. THEY ARE 2 BLOCKS FROM THE TOWN PARK. RESTAURANTS AND BARS ARE AN EASY STROLL FROM THE COLUMBIA. In addition to all of this the bus stops 1/2 block from the unit. The location is dynamite!!! Guests love staying there since the accommodations are so great.
