This renovated farmhouse is located on an acre of land, surrounded by gardens and conservation fields on one side. The ocean is 300 yards distant and there is a small secluded beach nearby. The place has all modern conveniences -- High Speed internet, cable tv, dishwasher, air conditioning, and washer and dryer.
There is a small view of the ocean from the house, which is located one mile from town and from Rockport's famous Motif Number One, the signature red lobster shack said to be the most photographed and painted scene in America.
Sometimes referred to as "the Other Cape," Cape Ann also encompasses Gloucester, Ipswich and Manchester-by-the-Sea. There is frequent and comfortable train service through historic Salem to Boston from Rockport. The train trip takes slightly more than one hour to Boston. Route 128 is five minutes away.
