We recently stayed in this condo and just loved it! It was just as it looked in the photos and better! The bed was comfortable, the suite was clean, the views were breathtaking not only of the ocean but the mountains behind the building. The beach was clean and quiet, the sand crabs were fun to chase around :) Damien the owner was very accommodating to any questions we had and was a pleasure to work with. We would (and already have) recommended this suite to others. We would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Oahu.

I can't believe our month here in this beautiful place is almost over. I am so sorry we have to leave. We travel a great deal (4/5 months a year) and this is one of the most wonderful places we have stayed at. The apt. is beautifully furnished, impeccably maintained, with a view from two walls of windows that has to be seen to believed. The light and balmy air make it a pleasure to be in and then of course there is the beach right outside. I fully enjoyed the high quality furnishings and kitchen equipment (when I cooked) and the convenience of all the interesting places to see and eat at near by. Ted's Bakery is a must, Haliewa Joe's in Haleiwa for great dining, Uncle Bobo's in Kawaawa, and L & L's in Laie for Japanese eggplant with chicken. Tita's Grill in Kahuku (a nothing looking place behind a gas station) has great bread and hamburgers. . We love Sunset Beach. Shark's Cove for snorkeling. So in addition to all there is to see and do we have this fabulous place to return to and call home for awhile. We hung out a lot watching TV instead of going out at night surround sound and 47 inches are a wonderful treat Damien, you are to be commended for making the atmosphere so inviting and for being so responsive to our questions etc. We felt so well taken care of here Kathy you added so much. All in all, a first class act well put together and beautifully executed. We will be back. B & B

We were very pleased upon arrival to find that everything was as stated by Damien. We were pretty sure we wanted to be away from all the craziness of Waikiki before arriving to the island. And after we stayed a week and half on the island we were POSITIVE we made the right choice. We LOVED the Kam Hwy that hugged the ocean. You just don't get that on the other side of the island. Kahuku Grill is a must if you love a good(ok, great) burger! We loved the Mac Nut Farm down the street and they offer a tour called the Ali'i Tour which was quite entertaining. It is SUPER windy on the Windward Side of the island. We actually missed to wind when visiting other parts of the island b/c it kept us nice and cool. I am a light sleeper and thought I would have trouble sleeping thru all the cars passing by at night(pretty noisy on the bedroom side) but to my surprise I slept rather well the whole stay. We traveled all over the island. I highly suggest you do the same. Right now the street about 5 miles is La'ie Point. It's breathtaking and so close to the condo. Each beach is uniquely different so it's worth the drive. My all time favorite place was Lanikai Juice in Kailua. Fresh smoothies! YUM. Also, visiting Pearl Harbor is something I will never forget. Worth the visit! Damien was very prompt to respond to any questions or concerns. If I am ever blessed to return to Oahu any time soon, we will be staying at this condo! Thanks so much Damien for making our first trip to Oahu such a great memory!

The condo is very tastefully appointed and has everything necessary for making the week comfortable from the full kitchen to the washer/dryer to the entertainment system with large flat screen . The view from the balcony that faces the ocean is outstanding, and it has a nice little beach lined and lawn lined with palms. The north side truly does have more rain and wind, but it has easy access to the rest of the island and is perfect if you like your vacations a little less hustle and bustle. Damien was very efficient and timely in his communication. We were entirely happy with this choice for the week we spent on Oahu from 5/29/11 - 6/5/11.

We absolutely loved this condo, and it lived up to all the great comments we read about it!! The view from the condo was so beautiful, it is an end unit, and is on the 8th floor, which is top level of the building. The kitchen had everything you need to cook, including a blender, toaster, you name it and all are like new and good quality. The bed was comfy, and everything was clean and well thought out including enough hangers to hang ALL your clothes. The beach was very nice, usually deserted, and you felt like you were the only ones there some days!! My husband went snorkeling there and loved it. There is a private parking spot, all kinds of beach gear for your use, including 3 sets of snorkeling gear, umbrellas, chairs, towels, even a picnic basket. The location makes it a great area to tour the whole island. One week was not enough, can't wait to come back!!

After spending 6 nights on Waikiki, we were a bit hesitant to head to the quiet side of the island, thinking that we might miss the action. Instead, Damien's place at Punaluu was just the finale we needed for our great Hawaiian get-away. Coffee on the lanai included whale watching while our kids worked on their homework at the kitchen table. We thoroughly enjoyed the North Shore as well as Kailua (especially Kailua Beach Park). When we walked in, the view just took our breath away. This is not some 'partial ocean view that looks through four buildings'. It is a top corner unit with two walls of windows that look directly at the ocean. Damien's instructions were perfect. A car is definitely needed. Groceries are down the road and there are too many excursions that require some driving. I highly recommend this affordable and easy to use rental!

We just got back from a two week stay in Damien’s condo in Punaluu. The condo was equipped with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The view from the deck is awesome with the ocean on one side and the mountain view on the other. Not every condo in this unit has the wrap around lanai. It felt bigger with all the windows and great views. We had a great time snorkeling with the masks and fins provide. It was very nice not to have to rent or buy them while we were on the island. The unit even provided beach towels, a sun umbrella, and a cooler for drinks and chairs so we could hang out at the beach. Be sure to lock the condo key in the lock box on the lobby wall before you go into the water, or you will wish you had. I loved the layout of the kitchen. I could cook at the stove while looking out at the ocean and feeling apart of the living room activities. The condo is decorated very nice and we were very comfortable just hanging out. We also visited the Polynesian Culture Center, the Dole Plantation and ate at Ted’s Bakery, which has the most amazing cakes and pies (try the Pineapple Macadamia Nut Cheese Cake – Yumm-o). The best part was snorkeling with a giant sea turtle right in front of the condo. You won’t regret your stay.

We just returned from our 9th trip to the islands. We usually hit Oahu at some point (even if we hit other islands during the trip), and usually stay in Waikiki. But we were so disappointing the in the growth and commercialism last time (3 yrs ago), we vowed to never stay down there again. We spent every day driving up to the North Shore to hang out, so this time we decided to stay North. Took a chance and booking a random place and... ...I cannot say enough good things about our stay in Damien's condo. Upon arrival it was super clean and bright and better than expected. The photos on this page don't even do it justice. The view was amazing. The unit is on the 8th floor and is a corner unit, so the wrap around lanai is a luxury, not the norm in the building. You get mountains on one side, and the gorgeous ocean on the other. We sat many hours on the lanai sipping cocktails and watching sea turtles and whales. The kitchen was fully equipped and my husband, a chef, cooked almost every meal while gazing at the view. I think he was inspired :) The condo complex itself is old and not very impressive, but the grounds crew take very good care of it and are out doing repairs or maintenance of some sort every day. There are some parts of the complex that are unused and empty, making us wonder what they used these spaces for back in the building's prime. Anyway, don't judge a book by its cover. Once you open the door to this condo, you will be very impressed. The location is remote - just what we wanted. But there are towns, eateries, and grocery stores less that 5 minutes away, so you never felt to restricted. The beach is practically deserted and a perfect place for our 2 year old to play. The waves (even in winter) are nice and small. It was so nice to just be able to go down there whenever we wanted and not have to lug a whole bunch of stuff, since we could just run upstairs if we needed anything or if the little one needed a nap or snack. We originally booked one week here, but the day before we were scheduled to leave, we decided we loved it too much and wanted to stay longer. We called Damien and he was able to accommodate us right way at a fabulous "last minute" rate! We stayed almost another full week! It really felt like home. We will be back and will recommend this condo to all of our friends

This was my 9th trip to Hawaii and first to Oahu. The combination of the condo, beach and water is the best I've ever had. The unit is very well stocked and very comfortable. My wife and I would take walks on the beach at night and sea turtles were sleeping on the sand. Damien was great to deal with and was responsive to our calls and emails. The surfing on the North Shore is great to watch and is only about a 20 min. drive. Ted's Bakery has the best garlic shrimp we ever had. For a great location and only 45-50 from Honolulu this was an awesome vacation. We will be back.

We stayed in this condo for 5 nights. Although the building appears dated from the exterior, the unit itself is wonderful and well-stocked. The views of the mountains and ocean are staggering. We spent the first hour just sitting on the sofa looking out. The sofas and bed were comfy. The location was fantastic, quiet, with a neighborhood feel; we preferred to be away from the bustle of south Oahu. The area has a slow, quiet appeal that we really enjoyed. The owner, Damien was extremely responsive and helpful.

My husband and I rented Damien's condo for our weddingmoon. The condo is perfect. We loved the views from the wrap around lanai, you see huge mountains to one side and the ocean on the other. The furniture and appliances were very clean and up to date. The location was great! Close to the North Shore and about 45 minutes to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. We will def. be booking this condo for future vacations! Thank you Damien for making our wedding/honeymoon unforgettable!

We stayed at Damien’s condo for 4 nights at the start of our honeymoon. Damien was very easy to work with and we didn’t have any problems. We arrived late at night after 18 hours of traveling. The drive from Honolulu airport was pretty easy (50 minutes). We had a rental car, which you will need. The condo is beautiful. New kitchen, furniture. We couldn’t see the view when we arrived because it was dark but we heard the ocean! When we woke up the next morning…WOW! What a site to wake up to! Just amazing. Words (and even pictures) do not do it justice. You really have to see it to appreciate it. We enjoyed a few walks on the beach, but didn’t get a chance to go in the water very far…we just put our feet in. The bedroom faces the highway and traffic could be a little noisy, but we were always so tired after a day of activities that we had no problems sleeping. Amenities are not far away. There is a decent sized shopping center about 5-10 minutes north on the highway. It has a grocery store and a little local eatery where we had breakfast once. We bought groceries and cooked most meals, which saved money. When we did eat dinner out we went to Turtle Bay Resort which is about a 15-20 minute drive up the highway. We passed another large grocery store and shopping center on the way there…and also the Polynesian Cultural Center. South on the highway about 15 minutes away is beautiful Kualoa Ranch where Lost and many movies are filmed. We did a tour there and it was great. We took a surf lesson on the north shore, about 30 minutes away. So there is plenty see and to do close by. The great thing is that when you are at the condo, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The beach is never crowded. We rarely saw anyone else at all. The building itself looks dated. However, this was not a big deal to us. Once you are in the condo you forget what the rest of the building looks like. After our stay at the condo, we spent 2 days at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki just because we wanted to get a taste of both sides of the island. We had a beach and Diamond Head view at HHV and my husband was not impressed because he said the view at Damien’s condo was better! Waikiki is great, but the slower pace on the windward side and the north shore is better! We LOVED our stay and we were talking about returning before we had even left!

This condo has great views of the ocean and the mountains. It is an end unit with two walls of glass that make it feel light and open. The furnishings are nearly new. It is exceptionally well equipped. The kitchen has everything that you need--high end appliances, decent knives, condiments, cookware, plastic bags and the gin that we and others left behind. There is a premium audio system, a nice TV and plenty of snorkel gear. The bed is large and comfortable. Everything is clean. It is quiet, and you are 8 floors above the neighborhood rooster, which gets up early. The beach is nice and protected by a reef. We spent a week here but could have easily settled in for a month.

My wife and I along with my father in-law stayed in Damien's condo February 2010 and found it exceptional. The kitchen appliances were top notch and the large screen TV with the many channels didn't hurt either. Damien responded faster to a problem with one of the windows than I could have expected from anyone including myself. The condo was located on the South East corner of the 8th floor and runs from front to back and had incredible views of the sun rises in the morning over the ocean. To the South West from the wrap around balcony you see the mountains. The barbecue area which is used by anyone from the complex could use updating and is located on the North East corner on the ocean side. The elevator is accessed using an electronic key and is located in the center of the complex so you do not hear any noise from it. The furniture was very comfortable with a role out cot that was also very comfortable. The king size bed was great but found that we preferred sleeping in the living room on the couch and cot rather than the bedroom because of the ocean sound and incredible views. The highway that runs along the bedroom side of the complex can be a little noisy but quiets down after about 10:00 PM. One thing that we found was you really need a vehicle to get around as you are about an hours drive from Waikiki but a plus is you're only about an 1/2 hour or less from the North Shore. We felt very safe no matter the time of day or night. The entire area around the building was extremely clean all the time and the pool, locate almost straight below the unit was very clean and was seldom used due partly because the pool was 70 F and the ocean was warmer at 74F If you are looking for a great romantic place to dine I suggest Haliwa Joe's Haiku Gardens on 46-336 Haiku Rd. Moderately priced at about $30.00 each and is locate about 1/2 hour South. We found Damien to be very helpful and returned our "E" mails and calls about his unit very quickly and for those concerned with your deposit, he returned ours quite quickly. One last thing, you are about 30 steps to the water where we did swim among the small fish and a rather large turtle that we often saw from our condo. If you are considering any condo in this complex give Damien an "E" mail and you will not be disappointed. Never did meet Damien as we never needed him but would have been nice to meet the guy whom we invested in.

We stayed at Damien's place for a few days before our cruise. It was lovely and we especially enjoyed being away from all the chaos of the city of Honolulu. The location is perfect for visiting the North Shore and the oceanfront view is relaxing. We do not snorkel but enjoyed many snorkeling out front. The condo is equipped with top of the line amenities with grocery stores and restaurant nearby. Absolutely consider staying here. Working with Damien was a breeze too.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location and views are absolutely beautiful and the condo is clean, comfortable, and very well appointed. We wanted a quiet spot, off the beaten path, and this condo was perfect for what we wanted. We saw sea turtles right in front of the condo! The water is beautiful and great for snorkeling and swimming. The beach is quiet and not busy. One recommendation I would make is to get groceries in the bigger towns before you head over here, there's not a whole lot around! There are a few restaurants, but their hours aren't always set in stone. I would most definitely recommend this condo to friends and family.

Damien's condo is a great place for a vacation! The condo is equipped with everything you could possibly want or need. The attention to detail is most impressive. The view from the balcony is fabulous!! One negative is the first impression of the building itself, but that is no reflection on Damien's condo.

My husband and I have been coming to Oahu since 1997. We have stayed at high-end and budget hotels and condos, but this truly one of the best. The condo is clean, comfortable (I have the pictures of my husband napping on the couch to prove it), well appointed. I was not expecting the extras... sunscreen of all spfs, towels, snorkeling gear (all sizes), coolers, spices, extra pillows, almost everything you could think of. The sunrise on the wrap-around balcony was incredible. as was star gazing at night (no lights from the city). We swam and bobbed just a few steps from the property, out of 6 days there we shared the beach with 1 or 2 other couples maybe once. I looked forward to staying at Damien's condo again this year (2010) but the secrets out and he is booked straight thru June and into July .. Great for him and so sad for us. Cheers Damien!
