My wife and I stayed here for four nights in August. It was everything we needed plus more. We had a lot of rain during our trip so there were times we stayed inside the house. Not a problem because the sofas in the living room are so wide and very comfortable. We watched the Olympics on the flat screen television every evening. A short walk to the town center gets you there in about two minutes. We will be staying at this house every year as long as it is still available.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The Ecstasea was close to everything! Restaurants, bike rentals and most importantly.....the beach. Our girls could walk to the beach in 5 minutes or ride their ripsticks in 2! Perfect for teens to feel independent.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We just stayed at this home in June and it was fantastic! Quiet location and close to everything. Lots of neat features to the house.....the pictures do not do it justice. In nine years of coming to Seaside and renting houses, this was one our favorites. The owner was extremely helpful and very responsive during the entire process. I would highly reccomend this property.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.

I am a friend of the owner but want readers to know that Ecstasea House in Seaside is beautiful. It has been a few years since I was there but it was so easy, convenient and lovely. Very very nice. About the owner: My husband discovered Seaside while driving to a dive location in Panama City. Unmarried at the time, he promptly bought a lot in the very undeveloped but pristine beach community of Seaside. A few years forward, I entered the picture and we decided to build a beach house, get married in Seaside and begin our lives together. Over the past 20+ years, we have raised 3 children each one with special Seaside memories to carry into their adult lives. Our family traditions include many Seaside events: Thanksgiving parade every year, the annual family porch photo (no matter how happy or unhappy anyone is!), and too many pizzas on the top deck with great wine and an even greater sunset. Of course as we have grown and changed as a family so too has our precious town of Seaside. We embrace most of those changes - just like in our family - and pray you find the magic and delight in the Seaside of today. The Unique Benefits at this House:
One of the best features of our great little house is its location. Within 4 minutes, you can be at any one of the Seaside pools, shuffle board or tennis courts. Head to town center and in 4 minutes (I am not kidding!) you can begin a unique shopping experience known as Perspicasity or DeJaVue or Pizitz or Sundog.
The Ruskin Artist Walk is two minutes out the back. The boys have played in the scrub oak tree park since they could walk! I have to remind my 6'1' sixteen year old that he might break a branch and no, climbing that high is not a good idea.
The kids still love to get gelatos at Heavenly Shortcake in the evening. We think 'ice cream!' and in 3 minutes we are there trying to decide if a hot fudge sundae or pistachio feels right for the night.
Our children, now 20, 17 and 13, have grown up in and around the great places just outside our door. We know you will discover your own favorite places too. Take a step off the front porch, turn right or left, and head out!
