This cabin offers an active summer lifestyle right out the front door step. In addition, Schweitzer Ski Resort is less than fifteen miles away. Dover Bay Resort offers over nine miles of wide paved trails for walking, running, roller blading, biking, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing.
This newly created cabin feels luxurious and cozy, yet spacious because of the bright windows, 20 foot ceilings and two sets of sliding glass doors leading to the wrap-around deck. This state of the art kitchen is loaded with all Viking appliances, granite countertops and space enough for two cooks!
The two red adirondack chairs, ottoman, and double rocking chairs provide the perfect atmosphere for early morning coffee with the birds and a gas fireplace by which to snuggle. Mature pine tress offer privacy and beauty, while still allowing the summer sun to warm the 800 square foot deck.
The full service marina is less than a par four walk from the deck with nightly and weekly moorage. We provide two kayaks perfect for traveling the Dover Bay waterways and around gorgeous Lake Pend Oreille.

The home itself is lovely and very well equipped. Top notch all the way! While we enjoyed our stay there with lots of nice places to walk and/or ride bikes. We loved shopping in town, quaint little shops and there's several yummy restaurants too. The disappointing part for us was the view. We thought the home was on the river based on the website pics and comments and it's really not. When we got there in the beginning of July the pond it sits on was completely over grown and it felt like we were sitting next to a swamp. Fortunately the misquotos weren't the problem we imagined when we pulled in. Also disappointing was there was no internet connection available. They referred us to the store but that internet connection is only available to the Dover Bay cabins and wasn't available at their home.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
