Our beautiful 1 bedroom, 1 bath gulf view condo is located on the second floor of Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club for easier access to the beach, pool and tennis courts. Called "The Palms," it is decorated in bright colors and furnished with everything the beach lover needs for a fun vacation. A queen-size bed in the bedroom and sofa in the livingroom that makes into queen-size bed provide comfortable sleeping arrangements for four people. Two televisions, 2 DVDs, 2 VCRs, and a selection of videos are provided. A stereo system is also available, so be sure to bring your favorite tunes.
Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club is a beautiful resort that faces the Gulf of Mexico on one side and Little Lagoon on the other. Cross a narrow road and enjoy Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club's 100' of private beachfront with its own pavilion. Or,use one of Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club's two private piers on the Lagoon for a day of fishing. If you have a small boat, bring it and use Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club's private launch. With waterfront tennis courts, adult and kiddie pools, shuffleboard and horseshoe pit, Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club offers entertainment for the entire family.
As the sun sets, walk to the end of one of the piers with your favorite beverage in hand and look back at the lighted courtyard of the Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club. Year Purchased: 2004
My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Gulf Shores almost 44 years ago. We were right out of college and had only $100 between us. We stayed at the Gulf Shores Motel - right on the beach - in a room that cost $9.00 per night. A lot has changed since then, but we always dreamed of owning our own place at the beach that we could share with other beach lovers.
Many of our guests e-mail photos of themselves and their families enjoying the beach and area activities. We even got one from a lady whose teen-aged daughter photographed her dancing on top of a table at The Hangout. She was celebrating her birthday and it will probably be a favorite memory that mom and daughter will share for their lifetimes.
We have also been fortunate to have a number of honeymooners stay in our condo. They hold a special place in our hearts because they remind us of ourselves.
We hope you will become a member of our extended beach family. We will be delighted to have you.

I have stayed in this condo twice. Once in June 2010 and again in June 2011. Both times were amazing! The room is nicely decorated and clean. The service and transaction is always very pleasant! I have recommended this condo to several friends and will be back soon! I have also rented their 2 bedroom, which is lovely as well for the family! The pool area here is great and we love the lagoon as well. You will not be disappointed staying in either of their great rooms!

Last summer, (2009) my family and I spent a week in this condo...We had such a wonderful experience that we have already made plans to return for our 2010 vacation. Very accomodating. Very comfortable and so economic of a stay that we could afford to really see the sites in Gulf Shores. Tons of great shopping, ocean activities...snorkling, sightseeing, boating beautiful beach. Great seafood dining and unique restaurants, fun amusement park nearby. What you see in the photos is what you get. The pictures really don't do it justice! All the comforts of home. No stone unturned by the owner in making sure our family had a wonderful stay! Will definately return year after year.
