Recently renovated and attractively appointed this home is situated on a quiet tree shaded street in the heart of downtown Toronto. A three minute walk to public transportation(subway station) near excellent selection of casual and elegant dining, sidewalk cafes, coffee shops, bars, cinemas, bookstores, parks, and boutiques. The fashion shopping areas of Bloor Street, Yorkville and the Eaton's Centre are all within a short walk and provide a wide selection of stores that cater to the fashion conscious. Museums, art galleries, botanical gardens, historic homes, hospitals and universities are all within an easy walk, or a short subway ride.
The town house (approximately 2000 square feet) consists of a main floor living room/dining room that opens onto an exclusive-use garden patio. A fully equipped and stocked compact gourmet kitchen is also on the main floor. The family room has an electric fireplace, entertainment centre and half bath. On the second floor two bedrooms share a full bath which contains a whirlpool tub. The spacious master bedroom on the top floor has a large queen-sized bed and the en-suite bathroom has a second whirlpool tub.
A balcony overlooking the garden patio is accessed through the master suite. Secure underground parking for one car is available with direct access into the laundry room which has a full sized washer and dryer. Guest parking is available for up to three days in a row. A fully equipped exercise room is also available. The home is fully equipped with china, cutlery, linens, cookware and basic kitchen and laundry supplies.

Ontario Place and the Exhibition grounds are a 30 minute subway/street car ride and the world famous CN Tower and Hockey Hall of Fame are both within easy walking, or if preferred a short subway ride. The subway station is a three minute walk from the house.

This townhouse was fantasticwith everything you could need. It is centrally located and only a short walk to the subway station. Doris made us fell very welcome with a stocked fridge and even made marsmallow squares for the kids.

We stayed at Doris's townhouse which was delightful and clean on arrival, with a nice touch of some beer, cookies and bread. The kitchen was fully equipped and very clean. The service and emails exchanched was very easy and helpful. the house is centrally located to anywhere you wish to go. The metro is about 2 mins walk away. We walked quite a lot and the CN tower is only about a 45 min walk away,however the metro runs a really good and fast service. We found all the comforts of home and would stay again. lots of restaurants in the local area, the restaurant we enjoyed the most was in the mansion called The Keg, that is if you like steak or lobster. Many local bars have food menus which are good for a quick bite. Overall a good experience of Canadian life living in the heart of it.

We, 6 mature adults, stayed at Doris' beautiful townhouse during this year's Toronto Film Festival. It is a great place! Everything is as good or better than Doris' description. Hoping to return next year and many years to come.

We travelled to Toronto in early June and stayed there for 2 weeks. Doris, the owner, was there to greet us and show us round her lovely home. There were 5 of us staying. The house was very spacious, lovely in decoration and in a perfect location. It was within easy walking distance of all amenities and attractions. For those who might struggle with walking, the subway was less than a 5 min walk away and in 5 mins can take you to the heart of shopping district and down to the waterfront. Throughout our stay Doris made us feel very welcome and was always able to help us with any query. We hired a car for our second week to visit Niagara and other out of town attractions. The house benefits from secure underground parking. We would definitely love to come back to stay if and when we return to Toronto.

Grant and Heather are obviously very thoughtful young adults who were treating Grant's parents to their first trip to Canada and we are so pleased that they found our Canadian hospitality enjoyable. We stayed at this townhouse in May 2008. Doris made us feel incredibly welcome, and left us a well stocked fridge to welcome us after our flights - a really nice touch. The rooms were clean and the beds were really comfortable. The house had everything we needed to make our stay really enjoyable: wireless internet, air/con cable TV etc. Plenty of space to relax and unwind after seeing the city. We had a great time - and would definitely stay again. I have no hesitation in recommending this rental to other people.

My colleagues and I had a wonderful time staying at this house while attending a professional internatinoal conference. It is located at a very convenient location in Downtown Toronto, near many shops, restaurants, etc. The house was beautifully maintained. We even had a wonderful time bbq'ing in the patio. More importantly, we felt we were at home with Doris' wonderful Canadian hospitality. She even had fresh brownies and cookies waiting for us when we arrived/came home! It was difficult to leave! We visited our son in Toronto over Christmas and this house provided ideal accommodation. It was decorated and furnished to a high level and provided very comfortable living. The location was perfect and most places were within walking distance or a short taxi ride. The owner, Doris, made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. A great base from which to explore the city.

Myself and two co-workers stayed at this lovely home while working in Toronto. It is a beautifully appointed townhouse with more than enough room for everyone to have their privacy. It is so comfortable, we are devestated at having to leave! The location is excellent, with the subway just around the corner and is a very safe neighborhood as well. There are grocers, restaurants, and shops galore. Doris is a wonderful landlord and we would stay here again in a minute!

We rented this property in August 2007 for a family holiday and had a fantastic time! The house itself was very pretty and had all of the amenities that we could have wished for. Locally there was a fantastic choice of restaurants and the townhouse was ideal for exploring Toronto with easy access to the subway and within walking distance to many of Toronto's attractions. We couldn't have asked for anything more and would thoroughly recommend staying here for a great holiday!
