Enjoy magnificent vineyard views from this exceptional wine country estate. Completed December of 1999, this home boasts exquisite custom craftsmanship designed with an open and inviting indoor/outdoor floor plan that lends itself to a relaxing wine country experience. It has 5,600 square feet of living space, which includes five bedrooms, four and a half baths, a large great room, professional gourmet kitchen, 2,100 square feet of covered verandas and patios. A great place to a have that memorable milestone birthday or family celebration. Each suite has windows on 3 sides which invites the natural light into every room. Some of its many amenities include radiant heating, T-1 instant wireless internet, and zoned air conditioning.
The property consists of ten acres. Approximately five acres are planted to a Zinfandel boutique vineyard in addition to 500 Lavender plants arranged across the front hillside together forming a dramatic entry statement. Stroll out into the orchard in the summer months and pick fresh peachs & apricots from the many trees. Set away from the main residence you will find a spring fed pond and entertainment/fire pit area for those fun summer nights. All this and just minutes from the historic Healdsburg Plaza!
Wineries within a 5 mile radius include Alexander Valley Vineyards, Jordan, Murphy Goode, Hanna, Stryker-Sonoma, Robert Young Estates & Stonestreet just to name a few. 10 minutes away is the Dry Creek Valley with over 50 wineries to explore.
World famous Jimtown store is within walking distance, a unique country shopping experience as well as a great lunch break on the back patio.
Hop on a bike for a gentle ride on Red Winery Road to have an upclose view of the vineyards or turn right out the driveway for a world class bike ride up Pine Flat Road, 13 miles of uphill road through a beautiful valley with an Audubon reserve, rolling vineyards and spectacular views. Truly a test for the seasoned cyclist...a must for cycling enthusiasts.
Healdsburg, the town center is a short 10 minute drive with world class shopping and dining experiences featuring Cyrus as the ultimate dining experience in the heart of Healdsburg rivaling the French Laundry which is also just 45 minutes away through the Napa Valley.
Hiking abounds with Mount St. Helena just 30 minutes to the south and Armstrong Woods, a California state park featuring first growth redwood forest a 30 minute drive to the West. Continue from Armstrong Woods to the west another 20 minutes, to the Pacific Ocean, to explore the rugged Northern California coastline, enjoy a bowl of Clam Chowder in Bodega Bay.
The Russian River carves through the valley, canoes can be rented while you navigate your way through the valley by river.

My wife and I along with our wine buddies have rented this amazing piece of property for a long weekend 3 years in a row. It is our favorite weekend of the year mainly because of this property. Unbelievable amenities, including the chef's kitchen, furnishings, 5 star quality beds and linens, pool/spa, and utter seclusion. Not to mention the nicest owners one could ask for! Don't miss out on this one.......!!!!!

Having just returned from a week in this phenomenal house, we're still having trouble explaining to friends just how nice our experience was. We visit a different wine region in the world every year and have stayed in some fabulous homes through VRBO and this is the best yet. One of our traveling companions probably summed it up best: it's like visiting with someone in their home - not like staying in a rental. While the pictures do it justice, they can't capture the spirit of the home, the comfortable setting or the well-thought out appointments. Everything was as-advertised, perfectly ready when we arrived and much better in person! The kitchen was over-the-top and made eating out a bigger challenge than we anticipated. The owners couldn't have been any more helpful or gracious. Our best form of recommendation is that we'll definitely return; probably sooner than later.

Lee, Sue and their traveling friends are a great example of people who have found us on VRBO. We have a great desire to make people feel at home and spoil them just a little bit.

Not only is this house incredible, but the owners are too! They were so hospitable and flexible during the planning of our trip, and once we arrived we felt right at home! The rooms & bathrooms are spacious and private, and the communal areas bring everyone together. It's hard to explain until you've been here, but the energy is just great and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We came to California to attend our daghter's wedding. The house where we stayed for 5 days was spectacular. We were joined by four couples, and we all had such a great time. Pictures do not do the house justice! The views from every bedroom, the kitchen, and the bathrooms were all great! We were ten people and no one felt we were tripping over each other. The house is very well stocked, and the coffee supplied by our hosts was great. The house is not just beautiful, it is comfortable!! Would I go back? POSITIVELY!!!

We had a truly marvelous weekend at your beautiful property. The house so far exceeded our expectations. When we pulled up to the driveway and saw that beautiful house at the top of the hill, the vineyards and the lavender – we couldn't have been more pleased. And the resounding cry at the end of the weekend was, “How soon can we book the house again for next year?!” The kitchen is fabulous (we ended up canceling all our dinner reservations and cooking in) and between the ping pong table, the pool table, the karaoke machine and the view -- we had our pick of entertainment/relaxation after a full day of wine tours. You've created a wonderful get-away spot.

We just had a wonderful surprise party at the house and it was perfect! The house itself is incredible and just right for a small party-- very open and airy. The pictures on the website don't do the house justice. Sunsets from the front are amazing and the view is just breathtaking!! Highly recommend!!
