Casa Caribe is located at “Punta Borinquen”, the northwest tip of the island of Puerto Rico, on the former site of Ramey Air Force Base. This area is perfect for your Caribbean getaway vacation, with lots of things to do and surrounded by great beaches and natural beauty. Our facilities have been recently remodeled and are equipped with Air Conditioning, High Speed Wireless Internet, Cable TV, new furnishings and appliances.
Casa Caribe will be your headquarters to explore and enjoy the many nearby activities and attractions. Within minutes you will be at prime spots for World Class surfing, windsurfing and kite surfing, scuba diving and snorkeling. Adjacent to Casa Caribe is an 18-hole Punta Borinquen Golf Course. Across the street is a new Tennis club.
Property is located 3, 5 or 10 minutes away from surfing beaches and 7 to 10 minutes away from bathing and snorkeling beaches.

Casa Caribe was a great place to spend our vacation/class reunion. It is on the west side of the island, where there are gorgeous beaches and less tourists. The home is close to Surfer's Beach, Crash Boat Beach, Bourinquen, Survival, Jobos, and the Shacks. Rincon, where they hold surf contests is close too. There is a golf course right down the road from the house, and you can fly right in to Aquadilla if you want. There are restaurants near by, (we especially liked Nomados and the restaurant at the Marriott hotel) and grocery stores too. The kitchen in the house has everything you need to cook, a nice dining and living room area, and a pleasant yard in the front or back if you want to eat outside. The original tile floor keeps the house cool, and while we did use the ceiling fans, we never had to use the air conditioner. The temperature was around 80 degrees everyday. There is also a washer and dryer to use if needed, and an outdoor shower to rinse off after swimming and snorkeling. Plenty of places to snorkel and surf. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable and there is plenty of extra linen and towels, including beach towels. We had all our questions answered by email by the owners, and had the bonus of a near by caretaker, Carlos, who was always available by phone. We felt well taken care of and if we needed anything had someone to call. Carlos also gave us a history of the house and the area, which was imformative. The property was clean with no sign of any bugs in the house, but we did have some cute geckos out in the back yard on the banana tree. It was a great time and I would highly recommend it for just a couple (there is a studio you can rent), or a larger group (we had our daughter and her husband with us), but had plenty of room if there were more people.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a great time at Casa Caribe. The house and studio are ample, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped. Access is super easy, specially if you are flying to the Aguadilla airport.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

This unit was comfortable and well situated, but no view and no dishwasher. Water heater ran out of hot water very quickly. Neighborhood a little noisy. Still, a very good value for the price. Enjoyed Crashboat Beach, Surfer's Beach and Domes all nearby.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers.

My family and I stayed here in July 08. Everything is so near by and easy to find. The house is very comfortable and spacious. Kitchen has everything you need. We enjoyed our stay at the Casa Caribe. We had a large group of 10 people, and we rented both the home and the attached studio apartment. The house was very clean, and large enough for our group. The location was great, very close to the Airport that we flew into (very little noise, as the airport has very few flights). We felt very safe there, and the kids enjoyed the city park that was only three houses away. When we return to Puerto Rico, we would rent the home again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.
