Enjoy grilling and dining while just steps away from the deep blue sea, the boardwalk, sandy beach, and surf! Close to the action, yet quiet and a few doors away for a more peaceful stay.
Great Location in Mellow South Mission! Not too close to the crowds, but close enough to be convenient and easy. Bike rentals, kayak rentals, sail boats rentals are all nearby. Amusement Park, Market and restaurants all within 2 to 3 block walk..

This is it! You will love our Sand Castle which is located just off the Boardwalk, sixty steps to the sand! Three doors from the shore near the corner of Ocean Front Walk and Dover Court. Bright and sunny cottage style unit with open beam and vaulted ceilings, and cheerful beach cottage feel!
We also have a two bedroom unit available at VRBO #53900 if you need another unit for a reunion. Both of our units sit side by side and total five bedrooms, so bring the entire gang and hang out as neighbors!
Make it a great getaway and book a stay in the off season when the sunsets are the best and so are the rates!!! Save money and visit us in the off season where you can stay just three nights and avoid the one week minimum we have in the summertime! Book early as it is already filling up! Upper Story,Single-level, with 1,400 Square Feet and also has a great outdoor deck patio which is about 15 x 20 feet in size! An outdoor room you will not find easily elsewhere for this value!!! Your kids can play in the ocean right in front of lifeguard tower #12 which is located right out on the beach where you will set up your day at the beach!
Two Master Suites to choose from here with TWO KING SUITES plus one queen bed sofa sleeper and two twins as well in the third bedroom. Extra guests will enjoy the quality Sofa/Futon in living room, always a favorite place to sleep with the TV, DVD and VCR remotes in hand. Lots of windows give this Beach House character and a Beach Cottage feel.
The multiple washers and dryers in the laundry room will help you pack lightly. We have a beautiful, clean and large laundry room.

Why the Owner Chose Mission Beach
We prefer to get away from the busy boardwalk and be just a few doors in from the crowd for a more relaxed beach visit. We like the prices off the boardwalk as they are always a better value and we are not afraid to walk 200 feet to the beach.

Next Year will be our 10th year staying at My Sandlecastle and my family and I have ejoyed every moment of each year.The Davis' couldn't be better hosts and the accomidations in each and every condo have been perfect, and I know becouse over the past 10 years we have stayed in every one, at one time or another. My children and I have created memories that will last us a life time . We wouldn't trade our summers at he beach for anything!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

Nice place just steps from the beach. Very clean inside with room for everyone. It was very nice for the entire family without having to hassle with three different hotel rooms. The view from the deck is awesome. Upon arrival I poured myself a glass of wine and sat out there watching the surf. Within a half-hour a years worth of stress was melting away. There is a small market just a block away. Also a liqour store and a few restaurants. (Pizza, Mexican, Sandwich) The grill came in handy as we used it every evening for fresh seafood, steaks or burgers. One negative is that the pictures don't accurately reflect the furnishings on the deck. However, there are two big tables and eight chairs and one big umbrella. Really could have used a lounger or two. The outdoor furniture definitely shows the wear that comes from being outside close to the surf, but was servicable. The pictures do reflect the interior accurately. Very clean, with comfortable beds, plenty of towels, large fridge, 42 inch TV. Two full baths made the stay great. There were a few spices, paper goods, etc left from previous renters. We left some as well. The market down the street is convenient for any of these items as well, but they are rather expensive. I would suggest hitting the Ralph's on Sports Arena on the way out to the place. Lots are small here so you are close to the neighbors which seemed to be mostly college kids. However, it was very quite and the other renters were very respectful of us and each other. There were a couple parties, but they didn't run too late. Overall a great experience! We'll be back.
