The place is beautiful. Paul shared with me that had I called him, they would have replaced the microwave immediately. I really didn't see it as that big of an issue. But a new microwave is due to be installed as well as the stove. These cons were extremely minute compared to the absolutely wonderful location and balcony views. This apartment is a MUST STAY, you won't be able to beat it for the price, this place could easily be a 250-300 dollar a night with its lovely views and superb location and top of the line security , you will feel safe, secure, and relaxed. And did i mention the laundry and exercise facilities? Absolutely perfect! I highly recommend!

As soon as we arrived at the place we were thrilled. The lobby is absolutely chic! With really attractive 24/7 security guards who were very helpful. The pool has color lights at night. The bed is really comfortable. With a few minor updates it could be absolutely perfect. The microwave needs to be replaced its a little scary it starts flashing and making electrical noises when you turn it on. The large burner on the stove needs to be replaced as well. If you don't plan on cooking then these cons shouldn't be an issue. The balcony could use a balcony set like 2 chairs and a table to make the place even better (there is one plastic chair on the balcony, and two rusty beach chairs). The view is really nice, the bathroom could use some modern redecorating as well but everything worked just fine water was hot. A great plus about this place was location, you don't need a car, especially since they pass out parking tickets to most areas close by, so pay for a parking garage or dont bring a car at all. The restaurant/club./bar next door was perfect for us. A pretty classy urban crowd that played electronic, hip hop, dance, reggae, and reggaeton. The DVD player works just fine, although we couldnt get very many channels on the tv, but YOU'RE ON VACATION so don't waste time inside watching tv anyways. Plenty of restaurants and high end stores in walking distance, 2 walgreens both in walking distance starbucks basically next door. I was really pleased with this place and would most definitely stay again, it is a very safe and secure building. Oh and plenty of extra towels and blankets were provided for us as well, plenty of closet space. We had a great time here and cannot wait to come back. Paul has been absolutely wonderful to work with and cannot wait to business with him again. He was flexible worked with our schedules and made our trip a smooth success. Hoping to make reservations in May! Oh and the couch was replaced and is super chic and comfy. The curtains worked fine. Thanks again for everything. GREAT DEAL FOR THE PRICE, I FELT LIKE I LUCKED OUT!

The previous review, titled "Decent apartment in amazing location" was written by me. I would like to add to that review to describe my experience with Paul, the owner, after he read it. Paul contacted me once I posted that review and expressed his concern, saying he wish I had contacted him while we were in the apartment. He explained that had I called him then, he would have had his agent come rectify the situation immediately. He told me that since reading the previous review, he will be getting a new couch and fixing the curtains. He even offered to compensate me for the trouble. I declined his offer, because, as I stated in the previous review, we had a very good experience staying in the apartment. The location is fantastic and the balcony view was great. With the improvements that Paul plans to make, I would recommend it highly.

My mother, brother, and I stayed in Paul's apartment for a week. Renting from Paul was easy; he responded quickly and everything was set up for us nicely when we arrived to Puerto Rico. As others have noted, the location is fantastic- close to tons of great restaurants and the beach, and a short ride from Old San Juan. The balcony view is really amazing and we enjoyed eating our breakfast there each morning. The apartment is big enough for 3 adults to stay in. There is a relatively large closet which you can't see from the pictures and is a good place to store your luggage and hang your clothes. The apartment was also well supplied with dishes, cookware, a broom, etc. Additionally, the TV is bigger and more modern than the one shown in the picture, and there is a DVD player. The pool area of the apartment is also nice, clean, and private. However, this apartment is not as luxurious as it appears in the photos. There is a lot of "wear and tear" on the furniture and the walls, such as peeling wallpaper and curtains that do not fully close. Everything felt a bit old and well used. The worst part was that the pleather on the couch was flaking off to such a degree that we had to cover it with a sheet so that it wouldn't stick to our clothes when we sat on it, and had to sweep up the little pleather pieces off the floor each day. The cable wire for the TV was frayed so that the TV was often staticy until you played with it. Additionally, the hot tub in the apartment building doesn't work, and the guard told us it hadn't been for the past 6 months. Finally, the apartment is located right above a bar, and on the weekend, it was extremely loud in the apartment at night. Overall, it is a great apartment that met our needs well. You just shouldn't expect it to be truly a luxury apartment.

My fiance and I recently traveled to PR for the first time and rented Paul's condo, which was absolutely perfect. The condo is clean, comfortable, reasonbaly priced, and located in an ideal part of town. Our goal in visiting PR was to move around as much as we could and truly expericnce all that the island had to offer, so location was one of the biggest factors in selecting our accommodations. Condado Beach is a mere 10 min drive from the airport, and no more than 5 mins from Old San Juan. In addition, Condado has numerous restaurants and bars ranging from 4 Star fine dining to local mom and pop shops, as well as several high-end boutiques, in case you feel like shopping. If you want to venture off and explore, you are a brief 20-30 min drive from El Yunque National Park and the Fajardo Ferry Terminal (Culebra and Vieques are MUST sees). This condo was the perfect find and helped to make our PR vacation the best we've taken, to date. Thanks, Paul!

My partner and I rented from Paul the first week in June. We had an amazing time, and truly can not wait to go back, in fact I have already contacted Paul about another week in October. The condo and building are exactly as shown in the photos. The bed was comfortable, the space very comfortable and usable for two people. The balcony over looks the main street of Condado Beach, and has a gorgeous ocean view. There are many great restaurants and bars within yards of the building. There are also a handful of resort hotels and casinos on the strip. The beach was perfect!!! The water was so clean, and perfect temp, we had heard things about rougher water, but we had none of that, it was perfection. We really liked the beach by La Concha, they will also rent lounge chairs for $5 a day ( well worth it ). This was our first time doing this type of rental, and we will do it again. Paul was very easy and pleasant to work with, and I would gladly recommend to renting from to anyone. He really made the whole process a breeze. We can not wait to go back!!! I would give the experience ten stars, but the ratings only go to five. Thanks for everything Paul!!

I just love San Juan! It is such a great place, beautiful historic side, gorgeous beaches and national parks, great restaurants and nightlife; so much to explore! But at the end of the day, we really wanted to go back to Paul's comfortable condo and enjoy the amazing view. Its location is fabulous, just close to everything, including the ocean! The condo is nicely decorated and so clean! I cannot wait to go back again!

Paul was super helpful through every step of the way! He really wanted to make sure that we had a wonderful time in PR. His place was great! Nicely decorated and had all the amenities we wanted. Most people would pay more money for the view alone! Ashford Ave. is home to delicious restaurants, fun watering holes, and trendy boutiques. Most importantly, the beach is just a few steps away. I couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon. This whole experience kind of makes me want to move there!! Thanks, Paul for making our first week as husband and wife so memorable.

My wife and I stayed at this condo mid September and had an absolute fantastic time. You really couldn't ask for a better location. Plus throw in the amazing view, nice decorations and great communication from the owner...it was a perfect vacation. Also highly recommend the resturant/bar Bar Gitano located right outside the entrance to the apartment, incredible Spanish food. I know we will be back to visit San Juan again and will certainly be staying here!

My sister and I just came back from Condado. We stayed at Paul's apartment and everything was really easy. The Condado Culinary Fest was happening the week we were there so we just took the elevator down every evening and enjoyed live music, food, drinks and dancing in the streets. Small detail that we appreciated: I am not sure who prepared the place for our arrival but having 3 trays of ready ice-cubes waiting for us in the freezer was very thoughtful.

I feel like we lucked out finding this place for our first visit to the island! We were very pleased when we entered the condo and found it clean, spacious and it had everything we needed to be comfortable and relaxed. Convenient location. Perfect view. Friendly staff. The building was quiet and not crowded like a hotel or resort atmosphere could be. If you are looking for a place in the heart of San Juan, we would recommend this condo to anyone!
Owner response:Hi Jules. Thanks so much for the detailed comment. It was a pleasure corresponding with you. Hope to hear from you soon.I am so glad you enjoyed yourself.

I was so wonderfully pleased with my stay here, I couldn't wait to get back to give my review.Everything was great, couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The security at the front door was extremely nice. They were very helpful with letting me know about all the shops and fine dining in the Condado area. When I got to the room and walked in, it felt like home. The room was very cozy, comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed to feel at home. When you enter the balcony you have the most beautiful view of the oceans blue water. I would recommend this condo to any and everybody. And I can't wait for my next visit to Pr, because this is where I will be staying.
Owner response:I am so gald you liked the place. Thanks for the great comment. When I went a few weeks ago it was the first time I had seen my furniture as this is new for me since July. It looked even better than I thought it would look.I was so happy with the decor and I am glad you noticed it as well.

This room was perfect for our stay in Condado Beach. Located right on a main avenue, everything we needed was in walking distance with the beach across the street and wonderful views from the balcony. The room was refreshing, crisp and clean, supplied everything we needed, easy booking and friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again, also can't beat the price!
