Nice GROUND FLOOR Walkout (no hiking all those stairs with your gear and groceries!) located under a 1/2 of a mile from the Peak 8 chairlifts.
Either walk to the lifts or take the free bus that stops in front of the complex 6 times an hour to Peaks 7 and 8 (next two stops). Good skiers can ski-in along 4 O'Clock Run Rd to patio door (requires good snow cover). You can also take a short walk and ski down to the Snowflake lift.
The Breckenridge NORDIC CENTER located 1/3 of a mile away (ski over or it's one stop on the bus) where you can rent cross country skis and snow shoes and enjoy many miles of groomed trails.
Summer in Breckenridge:
Enjoy a real mountain town with many summer activities (theater, shopping, mountain biking, etc.) and wonderful weather. The Fun Park at Peak 8 is great and an easy stroll from the condo. Easy first floor bike storage.

Our Condo is nicely furnished for a comfortable stay - "a home away from home". Relax at night with a 47" HDTV with 65+ channels, Blu-ray discs and HD streaming of any Netflix Instant title*, with additional DVD's available from Redbox in the City Market in town. WASHER and DRYER inside the condo (great for longer stays and wet gear). Sleeps four to six comfortably. Living room sofa converts to a queen-size bed (with memory foam pad), master bedroom has a pillow-top queen, bedroom 2 has a twin over full bunk bed. Shared Spa (4) and 2 Saunas in complex. Free Wireless INTERNET, free parking for 2 vehicles, and ski and board storage. Many items and toys for kids to enjoy (Children's movies, toys, etc). A safe, large play area, just outside the condo, is a great place for kids to sled, make snowmen or play "king of the snow pile" - join them or watch from the kitchen window :)
Avoid the noise of downtown and vacation with us on the mountain above Breckenridge. You will be happy you did, as you might be surprised how difficult and time consuming it is to get to the slopes if you lodge in the downtown.
* Our Netflix queue has over 100 movies in it but if you want a specific Netflix title just let us know before check-in.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo
As a family that likes a diverse set of outdoor activities our condo is perfect - we're on the mountain above Breckenridge so it's just a short distance to the Peak 8 Base area and basically across the street from the Nordic Center (where one can snowshoe and alpine ski). The kids enjoy sledding after ski hours down to town and taking the bus back up. Summer is also great as we hike and bike right from the condo - very convenient. Since many locals live in the complex it tends to be quiet and a good place to just chill.
Best place to start skiing at Breck! Rent skis and quickly get to all the best terrain. You can take lessons and/or take advantage of child care.
After a short walk, ski down to the Snowflake lift for easy access to Peak 8.

My wife and I stayed there for a week. The condo was very clean, furnishings were high quality, kitchen well equipped, great TV with cable and netflix, everything worked. Easy walk to bus stop but away from streets far enough to be quiet. The shower was really good (my wife wants me to install a shower head like that at home now). Having a washer/dryer was convenient. Lots of places for hanging ski stuff. Liked being on the ground floor - walking up and down stairs in ski boots is a pain. It was a short walk to the very nice hot tubs.

We had a great time at this condo. It was peaceful and in a great location. We were in walking distance to the slopes, and great cross country trails. It had all the modern amenities like a great TV to relax in front of. We would like to stay there again soon!
