Took my Kids here for just a weekend. The kids Loved it even in the FOG..This was because it was a cold weekend. We still had so much fun. Played Board games, walked along the beach and just had fun together. The home is Beautiful and very clean and we all had a nice time. YOu Can fish out the back and out the front you are looking at the Ocean. I would recommend it to anyone. =) overall AWESOME !!!

My wife and I stayed here the last week of December 2010. We don't have much time alone, away from the kids, so needless to say, we were very excited. In general, the house was nice, clean and was true to the description. We did't realize that we would be sharing the house... Every day, while watching TV, or standing in the kitchen, or playing pool (you get the idea), we would see a mouse scamper across the floor. The owner was nice and offered us comp'd stay at a later date so we decided to stick it out. After a few trys to schedule another visit, we gave up as the house was never available when we wanted to come. The owner offered to "help" us find another house, but we would have to pay. Overall, a disappointing experience.
Owner response:I did what I could to accomodate for the situation. As soon as I was informed, I had someone out there to treat the house. This was after Hurricane Ike. All the little places mice could live were destroyed, so they were in everyones homes along the coast. This home has been rented for around 22-25 weeks a year and a report of a mouse in the house after this experience has never been reported. I even offered a free stay for the inconvenience. I apologized then and again now for the disappointing experience.
